2. Turn th TEMPERATURE CONTROL to OFF, th n plug cord into
a 120V AC outl t.

4. Plac ROASTING RACK into th REMOVABLE ROASTING PAN,

th Roast r Ov n. NOTE: Som foods or r cip s do not r quir

5. Wh n finish d, turn th TEMPERATURE CONTROL to OFF and
unplug Roast r Ov n from outl t.
6. Us ov n mitts or hot pads to r mov LID and ROASTING

1. Fill th REMOVABLE ROASTING PAN with 8 quarts of wat r
(or 1/2 - 3/4 full) and plac insid ROASTER OVEN BODY.

PEPPER CRUSTED BRAISED SHORT RIBS
6 - 9 pou ds beef short ribs 15 cloves garlic, mi ced
1⁄4cup freshly cracked black pepper 5 (141⁄2-oz.) ca s beef broth
2 teaspoo s salt 1 cup red wi e, optio al
Pr h at roast r to 450° F. Rub ribs on all sid s with p pp r and garlic. Sprinkl with
salt. Plac ribs in cooking pan and cov r. Cook 15-30 minut s, turning to brown
on all sid s. Pour broth ov r ribs. Cov r, r duc h at to 300° F and cook until

4 - 5 lb. pork loi roast 1⁄2teaspoo pepper
4 cloves garlic, mi ced 1⁄2cup Italia dressi g
1 teaspoo salt 1⁄4cup Worcestershire sauce
Pr h at roast r to 350° F. Plac roast on rack. Pr ss minc d garlic into surfac of
th roast. Plac rack in roast r. Combin dr ssing and Worc st rshir sauc . Brush
roast with marinad . Cov r; cook for 2 to 2 1⁄2hours or until don .
SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 ca (48-oz.) tomato juice 1⁄3cup basil leaves
4 ca s (28-oz.) diced tomatoes 1⁄4cup orega o leaves
2 ca s (12-oz.) tomato paste 11⁄2tablespoo s parsley
2 tablespoo s Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoo thyme
6 cups water 1 tablespoo salt
5 cloves garlic, mi ced 1 teaspoo pepper
Turn roast r to 350° F. Add all ingr di nts to an ov n saf dish, stirring w ll to
combin . Cov r, cook 3 to 4 hours until thick, adding m atballs during last 1 to 11⁄2
hours. Stir occasionally.

SPICY BEEF ROAST
2 (21⁄2to 3-lb.) beef tip or rump roast 1⁄4cup soy sauce
2 - 3 tablespoo s cracked black peppercor s 2 tablespoo s Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves garlic, mi ced 11⁄2teaspoo s dry mustard
3 tablespoo s balsamic vi egar 1⁄2teaspoo salt
Pr h at roast r to 350° F. Mak s v ral slits in top of roasts. Plac roasts on rack. S t
rack in roast r. Combin vin gar, soy sauc , Worc st rshir sauc and mustard.
Brush marinad ov r roasts. Combin crack d p pp r and garlic. Rub ov r m at.
Sprinkl with salt. Cov r; roast 20 to 25 minut s p r pound or until roast r ach s
d sir d don n ss.

2 ca s (7-lbs. each) pork a d bea s 1⁄2cup Worcestershire sauce
11⁄2cup molasses 2 tablespoo s dry mustard powder
11⁄4cup ketchup 1 pou d baco , cooked u til just crisp a d cut up
3⁄4cup prepared barbecue sauce
Combin all ingr di nts in an ov n saf dish and plac in roast r pan. Cov r and
cook at 300° F for 2 hours or until h at d through. Stir occasionally.
