Preliminary Instructions
Ascertain from the user the DESIRED HEIGHT of the Ironing Board when in
the opened position. We recommend an ironing surface height of 830mm
above the floor for an average adult. To obtain this surface height, the bottom
external edge of the cabinet must be 640mm above the floor.
Installation Instructions
Step 1
Step 2 The ROBINHOOD Ironing Centre can
be mounted in two ways (Fig1)
a) Surface Mount - make sure solid
timber studs or mounting points are
in a suitable position for the mounting
of the Ironing Centre. Drill and fasten
through the back of the wooden panel
only to the Mounting Points (A) with
the 4 screws supplied (it may be
necessary to purchase different
length screws for correct fitting, or
use wall anchors if unit is to be
mounted to a solid wall).
b) Recessed Mount - cut the opening
in wall by reference to the
Specification Diagram, allowing for
the cut out when being inserted into
the wall. Make sure solid timber studs
or mounting points are positioned
flush with each side of the wall cut
out opening, drill and fasten through
the sides of the cabinet into the solid
studs (B) with the 4 screws supplied.
To seal gaps between opening of
wall and cabinet, use skirting
available from your local hardware
store.
NOTE: It is important that the Ironing
Centre be installed vertically in the
wall, check with a spirit level on the
front and side faces of the unit.)
