Your Rocktron Velocity V15 amplifier has been designed to comply with the following Standards

This means that this product has been designed to meet stringent guidelines on how much RF
energy it can emit, and that it should be immune from other sources of interference when properly
used. Improper use of this equipment could result in increased RF emissions, which may or may not

OPERATINGTEMPERATURE
Donotexposethis unit to excessive heat. This unitisdesignedtooperate between 32° F
and104°F (0° C and 40° C). Thisunitmaynot function properly under extreme
temperatures.
Precautions

INPUTjack
Connecttheoutputof your guitar to the 1/4” input jack withashieldedguitarcable.
CHSELECTButton&LED
ChannelSelectbuttonallows you to select between the DISTORTION or the CLEANchannel. Whenthe
ChannelSelectLEDisON(orlit)theDISTORTION channel is active. Whenthe Channel Select LED is
OFF(dark)the CLEAN channel is active.
EQUALIZATION CONTROLS
DISTORTION CHANNEL
LEVELcontrol
Thisknob determinestheLEVEL(or volume)oftheCLEAN channel. Turningtheknob clockwisewill
increasethe LEVEL of the cleanchannel. Turning the knobcounter-clockwisewilldecreasetheLEVELof
thecleanchannel.
CLEAN CHANNEL
GAINcontrol
Thisknobdetermines the amount ofGAIN(ordistortion)addedtothe signal in the distortion channel.
Turningtheknobclockwisewill addmoreGAINtothe signal. Turningtheknob counter-clockwisewill
decreasetheamount of GAIN added tothesignal.
LEVELcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheLEVEL(orvolume)ofthedistortionchannel. Turningthe knobclockwisewill
increasethe LEVEL of thedistortionchannel. Turningtheknobcounter-clockwisewilldecreasethe
LEVELofthedistortionchannel.
BASScontrol
Thisknobcontrolsthe overall bass of boththe DISTORTIONandCLEANchannels. The BASS control
boostsorcutstheamountoflowfrequency,or bass sound in the signal.

MIDDLEcontrol
Thisknobcontrolsthe overall MIDDLE frequencies of both the DISTORTIONand CLEAN channels.
TheMIDDLEcontrol boosts or cutstheamountofmid-bandfrequenciespresentin the signal.
HEADPHONEjack
Plugging your headphones into this jack disconnects the sound going to the speakers and allows you
to practice in private.
POWERswitch
Turns the amp ON and OFF. When the LED is lit, the amp is on.
TREBLEcontrol
ThisknobcontrolstheoverallTREBLEofboththeCLEANandDISTORTION channels. TheTREBLE
controlboosts or cutstheamountofhigh frequencies presentinthesignal.

PRESENCEcontrol
Thisknobcontrols the overall PRESENCE ofboththeCLEANand DISTORTION channels. The PRES-
ENCEwillincrease or decrease thedefinitionofthenotesbeing played.

POWERCORDPLUG
Usingthesupplied detachable power cord, plug theamplifierintoanystandardwalloutlet. Pleasebesure
tocheckyourlocalwiring and voltage to make sure your amplifier is thepropervoltageforyourareaofthe
world. Pleasefollowalltheprecaution guidelinesfoundin thefrontof thismanual.When replacingthefuse,
pleasebesure to replace the fusewiththespecific fuse as statedonthechassis next to the powercordplug.

UsingaROCKTRONRFS1footswitch(soldseparately)you can change the channels between DISTOR-
TION and CLEAN.

We recommend that you use an authorized repair person to change the fuse in this unit.
To access the fuse, first power down the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet and the amplifier.
Using a small screw driver, open the fuse tray by prying open the small tab as shown in the drawing above.
Please note that the tray will not come all of the way out.
Remove the old fuse and replace with a comparable new fuse and close the tray being sure that the tray snaps
into position. You will find the information on the fuse used in the specifications section of this manual.
