Your RocktronVelocity V50D amplifier has been designed to comply with the following Standards

This means that this product has been designed to meet stringent guidelines on how much RF
energy it can emit, and that it should be immune from other sources of interference when properly

OPERATINGTEMPERATURE
Donotexposethis unit to excessive heat. This unitisdesignedtooperate between 32° F
and104°F (0° C and 40° C). Thisunitmaynot function properly under extreme
temperatures.
Precautions

HIGHINPUTjack
Thisisahighimpedenceinputjack. Connecttheoutputofyourguitartothe1/4”input jack with a shielded
guitarcable. Usethisjackifyouwantalittlemore“edge”toyourinput. NoteuseonlytheHighorthe
Lowinput,notbothatthesametime.
GAINcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheamountofGAIN(ordistortion)addedtotheclean signal. Turningtheknob
clockwisewilladdmoreGAINtothesignal. Turningtheknobcounter-clockwisewilldecreasetheamount
ofGAINadded to the signal.
CHSELECTButton/CLEAN &DIST.LEDs
ChannelSelectbuttonallows you to select between the CLEANortheDISTORTIONchannel. Whenthe
CLEANLED is ON (orlit)the CLEAN channel isactive. Whenthe DIST. LEDisON (or lit)theDIS-
TORTIONchannelisactive.

DISTORTION CHANNEL
LEVELcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheLEVEL(orvolume)oftheCLEANchannel. Turning theknobclockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL ofthecleanchannel. Turningtheknobcounter-clockwise willdecreasetheLEVELof
thecleanchannel.
CLEAN CHANNEL
LOWINPUTjack
Thisisalowimpedenceinputjack. Connecttheoutputofyourguitartothe1/4”inputjackwithashielded
guitarcable. Usethisjackifyouwant a little less “edge” to your input. NoteuseonlytheHighorthe Low
input,notbothatthesametime.
GAINcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheamountofGAIN(ordistortion) added to the signal inthedistortionchannel.
Turningtheknobclockwise willaddmoreGAINtothesignal. Turningtheknob counter-clockwisewill
decreasetheamount of GAIN added tothesignal.
LEVELcontrol
Thisknobdeterminesthe LEVEL(orvolume)ofthedistortion channel. Turningtheknobclockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL ofthedistortionchannel. Turning the knobcounter-clockwisewilldecrease the
LEVELofthedistortionchannel.

EQUALIZATION CONTROLS

Thisknobcontrolsthe overall bass of boththeCLEANandDISTORTIONchannels. TheBASScontrol
boostsorcutstheamountoflowfrequencies,orbasssoundinthesignal.
MIDDLEcontrol
ThisknobcontrolstheoverallMIDDLEfrequenciesofboththeCLEANandDISTORTIONchannels.
TheMIDDLEcontrolboostsorcutstheamountofmid-band frequencies present inthesignal.
TREBLEcontrol
ThisknobcontrolstheoverallTREBLEofboththeCLEANandDISTORTIONchannels. TheTREBLE
controlboostsorcutstheamount of highfrequenciespresentinthesignal.
PRESENCEcontrol
Thisknobcontrols the overall PRESENCE ofboththeCLEANand DISTORTION channels. The PRES-
ENCEwillincreaseordecreasethedefinitionofthe notes being played.
CHORUSbutton
TheChorusbutton activates the stereo chorus. Whenthebuttonis pushed in the ChorusisON. Whenthe
buttonis out, the ChorusisOFF.
CHORUSDEPTHcontrol
TheChorusDepthcontroladjuststheamount of modulation. Turningitclockwiseincreases the depthof
modulation. Turningitcounter-clockwisedecreasesthedepthofmodulation.
CHORUSRATEcontrol
TheChorusRatecontroladjuststhespeedofthe modulation. Turningthiscontrolclockwise increases the
speed. Turningitcounter-clockwisedecreasesthespeed.
DELAYbutton
TheDelaybuttonactivatesthedigitaldelay. When the button is pushed in the Delay is ON. When the
buttonisout, the Delay is OFF.
DELAYTIMEcontrol
TheDelayTimecontrol adjuststhelengthofdelay. Turningthecontrolclockwiseincreasesthelength ofthe
delay. Turningthecontrolcounter-clockwise decreases thelengthofthedelay.
DELAYREGEN(regeneration)control
TheDelayRegen(regeneration)control adjuststhenumberofrepetitionsofdelayeffect. Turning the
controlclockwiseincreasesthenumberofrepetitions. Turningthecontrolcounter-clockwisedecreasesthe
numberofrepetitions.
DELAYMIXcontrol
TheDelayMixcontroladjuststheoverallvolumeof thedelayeffectmixedinwith thedrysignal. Turning
thecontrolclockwiseincreasesthevolume/mix ofthedelay. Turningthecontrolcounter-clockwisede-
creasesthevolume/mixof thedelay.

FOOTSWITCHInputRFS1
UsingaROCKTRONRFS1footswitch(soldseparately)youcancontrol your channel switchingviaa
footswitchallowingyoutoswitchbetweentheCLEAN and DISTORTIONchannels.
LINEOUT -Output Jacks- Right& Left
These1/4”outputjacksprovidealinelevelsignal. This can allow you toplugintoarecordingdevice,
poweramplifier,speakersimulator,PAsystem, etc. The lineoutputisnotcontrolledbythemastervolume
control. Pleasefollowallmanufacturer’sinstructionswhenplugging thisproductintoanyoutboard device.
POWERCORDPLUG
Usingthesupplieddetachablepowercord,plugtheamplifierintoanystandard wall outlet. Please be sure
tocheckyourlocalwiringandvoltagetomakesureyouramplifieristhepropervoltageforyourareaof the
world. Pleasefollowallthe precautionguidelinesfoundinthe frontofthismanual.Whenreplacingthefuse,
pleasebesure to replace the fusewiththespecific fuse as statedonthechassis next to the powercordplug.
Adescriptiononhowtochangethefuse is coveredlaterinthismanual.
HEADPHONEjack
Plugging your headphones into this jack disconnects the sound going to the speakers and allows you
to practice in private.
POWERswitch
Turns the amp ON and OFF. When the LED is lit, the amp is on.

V50D Specifications

We recommend that you use an authorized repair person to change the fuse in this unit.
To access the fuse, first power down the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet and the amplifier.
Using a small screw driver, open the fuse tray by prying open the small tab as shown in the drawing above.
Please note that the tray will not come all of the way out.
Remove the old fuse and replace with a comparable new fuse and close the tray being sure that the tray snaps
into position. You will find the information on the fuse used in the specifications section of this manual.
