Rockwheel User Instruction
Warning!
Whenever you ride the Rockwheel, you risk serious injury from collisions, falling down or loss of
control. To ride safely, YOU MUST READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND
WARNINGS IN THIS MANUAL. This manual includes basic operational instructions for the
Rockwheel. It cannot cover all situations where serious injuries may occur. OPERATORS
MUST USE GOOD JUDGMENT AND COMMON SENSE TO DETECT AND AVOID HAZARDS
AND DANGERS that they may encounter when riding the Rockwheel. By using the Rockwheel,
you accept the inherent risks of operating this product.

Ⅰ.Brief introduction
Rockwheel uses excellent controlling system , the complete aluminum alloy covered steel gear
motor, , good quality battery etc, insuring user’s safety and good experience. Rockwheel keeps
self-balancing in the forward and backward direction via internal gyroscope , Users only need to
adjust his/her body gesture ,for example ,leaning forward slightly or leaning backward
slightly ,will make Rockwheel move forward ,accelerate, decelerate, stop etc.
Ⅱ.Attention
1. Please do not use Rockwheel during rainy days, snowy days, on the wet road, or in other
circumstances which may cause the Rockwheel wet.
2. Please do not use Rockwheel on slippery ground, or sandy road.
3. Rockwheel has the maximum speed of 20km/h.Please do not ride in a fast speed at the
first time you learn. Besides , please keep cautious.
4. Please wear a helmet ,kneelet, elbow guard and other protecting equipment when riding
the Rockwheel.
5. Please do not make Rockwheel apart from ground when it is on. When it is apart from
ground , Rockwheel will stop and alarm. Do not touch its wheel when it is rotating.
6. Please do not use Rockwheel on the motorway.
7. Please be accompanied by your guardian if you are under 18 or over 50.
8. Please do not use Rockwheel when you are drunk or in other unconscious situation.
9. Please do read the instruction of Rockwheel before you use it .Though this instruction
helps you understand and use Rockwheel, we cannot insure all emergency situations are
included. Thus, we remind you of keeping cautious when you are using Rockwheel.
10. Please do not disassemble the Rockwheel without our permission; otherwise you give up
the right of warranty from our company. Besides, for any consequences caused by this, we will
not be responsible .

Ⅳ.Principal and learning steps:
a. Principal.
Rockwheel keeps itself balancing in the forward and backward direction via inner gyroscope ，
users only need to adjust his/her body gesture slightly ,for example, leaning forward slightly or
leaning backward slightly ,to make Rockwheel move forward ,backward ,accelerate ,stop etc.
Once you have charged the battery, follow these eight easy steps:
1. Grab the handle bar of the Rockwheel and set it on the ground vertically and turn it on. The
Rockwheel can face either direction.
2. Unfold the foot platforms .
3. Put one foot on one platform and stand up straight. Shifting your weight forward, lightly
push off the ground with the other foot and immediately place it on the other platform so that you
straddle the Rockwheel , squeezing the pads between your lower legs.
4. Shift your body weight gradually forward to pick up speed. Do not lunge forward.
5. Shift your body weight backward to slow down or stop.
6. To turn, lean the Rockwheel in the direction you want to go.
7. Twist your feet right and left for balance and steering. This is similar to maneuvering the
front wheel of a bicycle. (Attempting to balance by leaning and tilting is much less effective.
8. When you are ready to get off, slow down, stop and step off with one foot; grab the handle.
Keep your other foot on the other platform and turn the Rockwheel off.

Ⅴ.Charging Procedures
a. Please follow these steps: First plug in the charger socket of Rockwheel and secondly plug
in the outlet.
b. It takes 2.5 hours to full charge. When the light of charger turn green, please remove the
charger.
c. During charging , please do not turn on the Rockwheel.
d. If you do not use Rockwheel for a long time, please charge your Rockwheel every thirty
days.
Ⅵ.Maintenance
1. Please use inflator to inflate the tire and keep suitable tire pressure.
2. Please do not disassemble the Rockwheel without our permission .Otherwise , you give
up the right of warranty .For any circumstances caused by this, we are not responsible.
3. If any problems appear, please contact us or our local distributor.
Ⅶ.Warranty
Every Rockwheel has the warranty of one year from the day customer purchases it.
The following circumstances are beyond the scope of free warranty:
a. Malfunction due to misuse.
b. Malfunction caused by unauthorized modification, disassembling, or repair.
c. Accidental damage or malfunction due to unsuitable storage.
d. Unmatched warranty /evidence of purchase and product.
e. Appearance damage.
f. Damage or malfunction caused by riding in the rain or soaking in water.
