SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT TO BE READ AND OBSERVED
•Before using the appliance, read these safety instructions. Keep them nearby for future
reference.
•These instructions and the appliance itself provide important safety warnings, to be
observed at all times. The manufacturer declines any liability for failure to observe these
safety instructions, for inappropriate use of the appliance or incorrect setting of controls.
SAFETY WARNINGS
•Very young children (0-3 years) should be kept away from the appliance and its
cord. Young children (3-8 years) should be kept away from the appliance unless
continuously supervised. Children from 8 years old and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge can use this appliance only if they are supervised or have been given
instructions on safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children must not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.
•WARNING: Hot Surface: The surfaces of appliance are liable to get hot during
use and should not be touched without taking care.
INSTALLATION
•Use protective gloves to unpack and install - risk of cuts.
•Installation, including water supply (if any) and electrical connections, and repairs
must be carried out by a qualified technician. Do not repair or replace any part of the
appliance unless specifically stated in the user manual. Keep children away from the
installation site. After unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been damaged
during transport. In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your nearest After-sales
Service. Once installed, packaging waste (plastic, Styrofoam parts etc.) must be stored out of
reach of children - risk of suffocation. The appliance must be disconnected from the power
supply before any installation operation - risk of electrical shock. During installation, make
sure the appliance does not damage the power cable
- risk of fire or electrical shock. Only activate the appliance when the installation has been
completed.
•Place the appliance on a dry steady flat surface such as a counter or table. Keep it
away from the edge of the work surface.
•Do not place the appliance near a heat source - Risk of fire.
•Do not install the appliance with restricted ventilation.

•Do not keep flammable materials such as alcohol, petrol or aerosols nearby the
appliance - Risk of explosion or fire.
ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
•Ensure that the appliance is connected to an electrical source having values within
those specified on appliance rating label.
•It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power supply by unplugging
it if plug is accessible, or by a multi-pole switch installed upstream of the socket in
accordance with the wiring rules and the appliance must be earthed in conformity with
national electrical safety standards.
•Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets or adapters. The electrical components
must not be accessible to the user after installation. Do not use the appliance when you are
wet or barefoot. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged power cable or plug, if it
is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with an identical one by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard - risk
of electrical shock.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter or let it touch hot surfaces.
•Before disconnecting the appliance, let it cool down.
•Do not pull the appliance by power supply cable
•Take care to avoid any spillage on the electrical connections.
PERMITTED USE
•WARNING: the appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
switching device, such as a timer, or separate remote controlled system.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients
in hotels, motels, bed & breakfast and other residential environments.
•This product is not intended for commercial use. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•Do not immerse the appliance body, cord or plug in water or other liquid - Risk of
electric shock.
•Disconnect the appliance from power supply when not in use.
•Before disconnecting the appliance, let it cool down.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Always switch off and
disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,

disassembling, changing accessories, approaching parts that move in use or cleaning. To
disconnect, turn unit off, grasp plug, and pull out from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
•Do not place objects in the appliance
•WARNING: The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
•The outer surface temperature can become very high when the appliance is
operating. Do not touch the hot surfaces and allow to cool before handling the appliance, its
detachable parts and its accessories.
•After connecting the appliance, make sure that the red indicator is ON.
•Do a cycle without food inside before starting to use the product. Do not place the
objects in the appliance.
• Never leave a spatula or tongs on the cooking plate when it is hot.
•Use the product only in an horizontal position
•If smoke starts to escape from the appliance, stop the roasting immediately.
•As bread may burn, do not use appliance near or below curtains and other flammable
materials.
•Remove the bread carefully after toasting to avoid any injuries.
•To disconnect the appliance from the main power, turn the temperature knob to the
lowest temperature setting position and remove the power plug from the outlet.
•Do not use and disconnect the appliance from the power supply if the plate surface is
cracked - risk of electric shock.
•Use the appliance only with the grids in place.
•Use only the provided grids.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the
power supply before performing any maintenance operation; never use steam cleaning
equipment or spray detergents on the appliance - risk of electric shock.
•Wipe the base, control knob, and feet with a damp cloth. All removable parts can be
washed in hot, sudsy water. After washing rinse, dry immediately and thoroughly.

•Do not clean the appliance with flammable or explosive liquids. Do not use any harsh
solvents, alkaline cleaning agents, abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind when
cleaning. Do not immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our product.
In doing so, you have opted for an effective, high performing appliance.
If the instructions for correct use of this appliance are not observed, the manufacturer’s
liability for any resulting damage will be excluded.
Operating instructions may describe different models.
Any difference is clearly identified.
Keep this guide with your appliance. If the appliance is ever sold or transferred to another
person, ensure that the new owner receives this user guide. Please familiarize yourself with
these recommendations before installing and using your appliance. They have been written
for your own safety as well as the safety of others.
INSTALLING YOUR APPLIANCE
The grill maker is for indoor use only. Place the unit away from water and do not use it near
a swimming pool or a fountain. Do not expose the unit to rain. Do not leave the device
outside during a thunderstorm.
The unit must be plugged into an electrical outlet. Place the grill on a flat, stable, strong and
heat resistant surface.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
1. Clean the plates with a soft cloth and a mild diluted detergent. Carefully wipe, and then
dry the unit.
2. Connect the grill maker to a grounded electrical outlet.
3. Set the thermostat knob.
The device can emit smoke during its first use. This is normal.
4. After about 4-5 minutes, turn the appliance off and let it cool down.
Now you can use the unit.

Cooking function
Use as a Sandwich maker (A)
•Plug your appliance to the socket, set the variable temperature knob to a proper position
for cooking setting as above and preheat the unit. When the pilot light go off, your appliance
reaches the necessary temperature.
•Butter the outside of the toast or sandwich breads and gently close the lid
•The length of cooking time depends on the case, filling and personal taste. Your sandwich
maker cooks on both sides at a time
•It is not necessary to butter the outside of all breads as the sandwich maker/grills has non-
stick cooking plates
Use as a Grill
Double sided Grill (B)
•Set the variable temperature to 3 and preheat the unit
•Place the food to the lower cooking surface and close the unit
•You are not required to turn the food
•After the desired amount of time, carefully open the lid and collect foods using a wooden
spatula
One sided Grill (C)
•Set the variable temperature according to your requirement
•Place the food to the lower cooking surface
•Pull the upper cover in the upright position and open by 90°.
•Grilling may be done with your appliance’s upper cover opened and not touching the
upper cover
•Turn and collect the foods in the plate using a wooden spatula

Party Grill (Barbecue) (D)
•To increase cooking area you can open the upper cover towards back by 180°, so you can
provide a wide surface for cooking
•Open the upper cover until it is tilted to 45°.Now you can pull up the upper cover to
release the movement that allows you to open by 180°
•Set the variable temperature according to your requirement
•You can place food in both surfaces and use both of them at the same time
•Turn and collect the foods in the plate using a wooden spatula
The light is thermostatically controlled and will cycle during cooking to ensure that the
correct temperature is maintained.
Never touch the outer surfaces of the unit as they heat up during operations. Use the
handle to open the upper cover. Vapor may come out from between the heating plates of
your equipment when the upper cover is opened or during process. Be careful when taking
out the foods.
Carefully open the lid and remove food using plastic or wooden utensils to avoid damaging
the non-stick coating. Never use metal tongs, forks or a knife as these can damage the
coating.

The flat griddle plates are ideal for pancakes and French toast.
The ribbed grill plates are ideal for steaks, kebabs and sandwiches.
When they are pre-heated, the plates must be closed.
The first time you use the appliance, it may have a slight odor and may smoke a little. This is
normal and common to appliances with a non-stick surface.

CLEANUP AND MAINTENANCE
Before first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly. Once you have finished
cooking, unplug the power cord and allow the appliance for at least 30 minutes before
handling.
The cooking plates can be washed by hand. Do not use metallic objects such as knives when
cleaning. This will damage the non-stick coating. Use wooden or heat proof plastic utensils
only.
If seafood has been cooked, wipe the cooking plate with lemon juice to prevent seafood
flavor transferring to the next recipe.
The housing base, cover and control knobs can be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth.
Never use an abrasive cleaner or harsh pad. In between recipes, scrape excess food buildup
through the grease channel then wipe off any residue with a paper towel before proceeding
with the next recipe.
Never leave plastic utensils in contact with the hot grill / griddle plates.
Make sure all the parts are clean and dry before storing.
Never wrap the cord around the outside of the grill maker.
Never immerse the plug, lead or housing in water or any other liquid.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC.
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must
be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection center or to a dealer
providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible
negative consequences for the environment and health, deriving form inappropriate
disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings
in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to dispose of household appliances
separately, the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.
