9. Starting Up
There are no short cuts when assembling this product. Please read all the
instructions before assembly.
At least two people are required to assemble this product.
10. Detailed Description
Encourages social skills such as turn-taking, sharing and co-operation as well as communication
and imaginative play. Also provides a shelter for observing nature and wildlife. Use like a
friendship bench - youngsters looking for a play mate can wait inside the hut.
A natural alternative to synthetic, plastic houses. With a coarse bark finish for rustic appeal.
Minimal assembly required. Can be free-standing or secured to the ground. Large and heavy
(approx. 100kg) - two people are required to unload this product on receipt.

Install the product on a flat and stable surface.

13. Installation
1. Check you have all the components listed in the Contents.
2. Choose a flat and level surface that will allow clear access to the open side of the Hut.
3. Place the back section in position. Place the right side panel against the back panel,
on top of the two spacers provided. Make sure the panels are flush with no gaps.

4. Fix the side panel to the back panel using 3 x 100mm screws into the marked pre-
drilled holes. Then fix the back panel into the side panel using 3 x 100mm screws
into the marked pre-drilled holes.
5. Place the front post at the end of the side panel (it is marked on top of the post with
Right or Left). Fix through the panel into the post using 3 x 100mm screws into the
marked pre-drilled holes.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the attaching the left side panel into the back panel and front post.
7. Secure each horizontal log lap section on both side panels and back panel into end
posts using 5 x 50mm screws into marked pre-drilled holes (1 screw in each end of
the horizontal length).

8. Place the roof into position, lowering the back edge down first, ensuring that there
are no gaps between the roof and the posts. Fix in place using 8 x 100mm screws
into the marked pre-drilled holes (1 screw on each end at the corner). Please note:
the front is labelled as the roof will only fit one way.
14. Care and Maintenance
1. Regularly check the Rustic Play Hut for signs of wear and tear. If damage is found,
repair or replace, contacting ROMPA® for advice if necessary.
