Things to Note
nThis installation Quick-Start is for the
RackView 1U drawer itself. When
RackView includes the Rose KVM switch
option, please refer to the switch manual
for cable connectivity and configuration.
nThere are two ways to install this unit:
Option 1 - You can mount the fully
assembled unit into the rack.
Option 2 - You can disconnect the unit and
mount each piece separately.

Step 1
Remove the tray
from packaging.
Step 2
Loosen rear finger
bracket and cable
retractor screws.
Next slightly angle
unit to fit through
rack.
Step 3
Cowl is preset. Do not
remove unless absolutely
necessary.
Loosely mount rail
brackets to rails.
Do not put screw in
center hole.
Step 4
Adjust rear finger
brackets to fit rackrail.
Tighten mounting
screws. Tighten
rear finger
brackets and
cable retractor
Step 1
Remove the tray
from packaging.
Step 3
Cowl is preset. Do not
remove unless
absolutely necessary.
Loosely mount rail
brackets to rails
Step 3
Fully extend
rails.
Do not put screw
in center hole.
Step 4
Guide monitor
keyboard assembly
into slides, pushing
unit all the way to
back of rack.
Step 2
Remove cable retractor
screws and loosen rear
finder bracket screws.
Facing rear of
shelf remove slide
from rail. Push
down metal locks
(on both sides) to
release the full
extension slides.

INSTALLATION OPTION 1 - Fully Assembled
INSTALLATION OPTION 2 - Unassembled Step 5
Tighten rear finger
bracket screws.
Then install and
tighten cable
retractor screw.
Step 6
Adjust rear finger brackets
to fit rackrail.
Once the shelf is
seated, tighten the
screws on the
mounting rails.
