Stop when ll line reached.

Fill the spa to the top of this cut out in the lter housing front plate. Insert
lter cartridge followed by ow plate. Finally, the lter basket sits on top of
the ow plate.

Fill the spa so that the second horizontal slat from the top of the strip skimmer
is completely submerged. Insert the lter cartridge and secure the lid and lock
ring back onto the lter housing. Do not turn on the spa without the lter lid
locked into position.
QUATRO & ORBIS SPAS
First Insert your lter cartridge. To gauge whether the spa is full, push the
oating vane weir down into the lter housing until it touches the bottom.
When half of the weir is submerged, the spa is ltered to the correct level.

3LOCKING POINTS
DuraSpa models only; relieve any excess air through the bleed valve located on the lter housing
lid. This can be achieved by slowly turning the bleed screw anti-clockwise, allowing the air to slowly
escape, and then tightening up by hand before starting up.

Connect to power using RCD.
The control panel will
illuminate & system will
purge.
The system will automatically begin to heat the water to default temperature of 38 degrees.
Please note water heating to 37 degrees could take up to 12 hours.

Do not enter the spa until these steps are followed.
Starter kit
Using your starter kit of either Chlorine or Bromine - check the contents.
Chlorine kit
1 x Pool Tester with testing tablets,
1 x 500g pot of Bromine Granules,
1 x 500g pot of ph-,
1 x 500g pot of ph+
1 x 500ml bottle of foam away.
Bromine kit
1 x Pool Tester inc testing tablets,
1 x 500g pot of Chlorine Granules,
1 x 500g pot of ph-,
1 x 500g pot of ph+
1 x 500ml bottle of foam away.
We recommend sanitising the spa with either product to establish baseline.
Non-Chlorine if Bromine is to be used.
Granular if Chlorine is your choice.
When using RotoSpas chemical you will nd the dosage
instructions on the container. If using other manufacturers,
chemicals ensure you follow their instructions.

Using the test kit in your starter pack take a sample of water & add testing tablets.

STEP 7 WATER TESTING

Using the scales identify your readings.
We recommend always aiming for 7.2 on the pH scale, as this is
the point at which chlorine is most eective.
If the pH of your spa water is above 7.6, then
use RotoSpa pH minus to reduce it, using the
instructions on the container.
We advise that you should aim for the higher end of the recommended range (5.0 ppm of
chlorine, 6.0 ppm of bromine). This will act as a useful buer for uctuating conditions, such
as high bather loads and hot weather.
If the pH is below 7.2, then use Rotospa pH plus
to increase it, again adhering to the instructions.
Also be aware that continued use of the hydro jets
where the air control(s) are turned on, will cause
the pH to naturally rise, so always ensure these
are turned o when you are not using the spa.

Free Chlorine 3.0 - 5.0ppm*
Bromine 4.0 - 6.0 ppm*
pH 7.2 - 7.6
Total Alkalinity Your RotoSpa Installation engineer will test your main water’s alkalinity and advise you
on the best chemical treatment. The perfect total Alkalinity is in between 80 - 150 ppm.
