Thiswarrantyislimited tomakinggood or replacing anypart whichappearsuponinspection by

The engineusedtopowerthismachineiswarrantedbythemanufacturer whosewarranty
statementhasbeenincluded withthemachine. Asthewarrantyfor theenginemay differfromthe
warrantyfor theother components,you areadvisedtoreadtheenginemanufacturer’s
warrantycarefully.
Forotheritemsthiswarrantyshall applyforaperiod of 12monthsfrom dateof purchasefor
domesticuseonly. However theseitemsare not warrantedfor commercial or industrial use.
Thiswarrantydoesnotobligatethemanufacturer, hisagentsor dealerstobearthetransport costs
incurredintherepairor replacementofanydefective part. Thiswarrantyexcludesfairwear and
tear,oranydamagecaused bymisuseorabuse. Partssuchasblades,bladebolts,andspark
plugs,which canbesubjected tousebeyond theirnormal intended workingcapacityarealso
excluded.

plugupwardsand securesafelyinposition
• Remove thesinglecentralretainingbolt andlargedomed washerandremovethebladefrom the
bladeboss. Retain thetwolooseshearpinsbetween thebladeandbladeboss.
• Check thecondition ofthebladeandreplacethebladeifbadlydamaged or returntoan
authorized servicedealer forbladesharpeningandbalancing

fittingtotheengineshaftandreplaceanyif
damaged
• Ifthebladeboss hasbeenremovedfrom thecrankshaft make
surethat thekey islocatedinthecrankshaft and replacethe
key ifdamaged
• Insertthetwoshear pinsintothebladeboss
• Fitthebladetothebottom sideofthebladeboss aligningthe
twoshearpinswiththeholesin theblade. Theflutesattheendsofthe
bladeshouldbefacingintothemowerbase.
• Fitthecentrebolt withthelargedomed washer through
thecentreofthebladeandintotheengineshaftand
torqueto57to62Nm. Note: thedomed washer
mustbefitted tothebladewiththeraised dome
pointingawayfrom thebladebottomface
• Lower themower totheground and fitthesparkplugleadtothesparkplug
Cleaning
Topreventthebuildupof grass underthedeck andtomaintaintheappearanceofthemowerit
should becleaned at theendof eachdaysmowing.
• Stop theengineandremovethesparkpluglead when thebladehasstopped
• Remove thegrass catcherandtiltthemowerbackonit’shandlebars
• Hosetheundersideof themowerhousingtoremove allgrass buildup
• Lower themower totheground and fitthesparkplugleadtothesparkplug
• Hosethefabricgrass catcherinsideandouttoremoveallgrass debrisandhanguptodrybefore
storage

Forbestresults, remove thesparkplugevery50hoursforgap checking andreplaceevery100
hoursofuse. Replacethesparkplugatanytimeifitisfoundthat theelectrodesarepitted or
burned or theporcelaincracked.Forreplacement refer toenginemanufacturerowner’smanual for
correct sparkplug.
Muffler
Check thecondition ofthemufflerperiodicallyfor rustandcracks. Replaceiffoundtobedamaged
asthiscanleadtoincreased exhaustnoise. Replaceonlywithagenuineoriginal equipment part.

Check thecondition ofthebladeandcentralfastenerat regularintervals,orafter strikingasolid
object, orifthemowerbeginstovibrateabnormally.After strikingasolidobject check thatthe
bladeboss shearpinsareintact, ifbroken replace. Thebladewithuse,willlooseit’ssharpedge
andthequalityofthegrass finish willdeteriorate.When thishappensthebladeshouldbe
removed andsharpened orreplaced withanewblade.

Ensurethattheengineoil isatthecorrectlevel andthat thefuel tankisfull offresh unleaded

• Primetheenginein accordancewiththeenginemanufacture’sinstructions
• Graspthestarter cordhandleandpull withaquickfirmaction.Allowthestarter cordto
recoilback intoitshousingwhilst retainingagrip onthehandle. Iftheenginefailstostart
repeattill theenginestarts

bladeshouldbefacingintothemowerbase.
• Fitthecentrebolt withthelargedomed washer through
thecentreofthebladeandintotheengineshaftand
torqueto57to62Nm. Note: thedomed washer
mustbefitted tothebladewiththeraised dome
pointingawayfrom thebladebottomface
• Lower themower totheground and fitthesparkplugleadtothesparkplug
Cleaning
Topreventthebuildupof grass underthedeck andtomaintaintheappearanceofthemowerit
should becleaned at theendof eachdaysmowing.
• Stop theengineandremovethesparkpluglead when thebladehasstopped
• Remove thegrass catcherandtiltthemowerbackonit’shandlebars
• Hosetheundersideof themowerhousingtoremove allgrass buildup
• Lower themower totheground and fitthesparkplugleadtothesparkplug
• Hosethefabricgrass catcherinsideandouttoremoveallgrass debrisandhanguptodrybefore
storage

Thiswarrantyislimited tomakinggood or replacing anypart whichappearsuponinspection by
themanufacturerorhisagenttobedefective inmaterial or workmanship.
The engineusedtopowerthismachineiswarrantedbythemanufacturer whosewarranty
statementhasbeenincluded withthemachine. Asthewarrantyfor theenginemay differfromthe
warrantyfor theother components,you areadvisedtoreadtheenginemanufacturer’s
warrantycarefully.
Forotheritemsthiswarrantyshall applyforaperiod of 12monthsfrom dateof purchasefor
domesticuseonly. However theseitemsare not warrantedfor commercial or industrial use.
Thiswarrantydoesnotobligatethemanufacturer, hisagentsor dealerstobearthetransport costs
incurredintherepairor replacementofanydefective part. Thiswarrantyexcludesfairwear and
tear,oranydamagecaused bymisuseorabuse. Partssuchasblades,bladebolts,andspark
plugs,which canbesubjected tousebeyond theirnormal intended workingcapacityarealso
excluded.
Thiswarrantyisvoidifpartsotherthangenuinehavebeen used or if repairsoralterationshave
been madewithout themanufacturer’swritten authority. Theabove warrantydoesnotexcludeany
condition or warrantyimplied bytheTradePracticesAct1974oranyother relevant
legislation whichimpliesanycondition whichcannotbeexcluded.
