INTRODUZIONE
RPM è un’ indicatore di giri motore universale completamente gestito a microprocessore con funzione di contaore motore,
memorizzazione di giri massimi raggiunti, accensione automatica ed autospegnimento .
N.B: Questo prodotto è resistente all'acqua ma non impermea ile, non lavare il prodotto con lancia ad acqua in pressione, il
prodotto potre e danneggiarsi irrepara ilmente.
INSTALLAZIONE
N.B: Su veicoli 2 tempi con forti emissioni elettromagnetiche come scooter, kart e minimoto, è necessario utilizzare candele
resistive e pipette schermate con resistenza 5K. Nel caso in cui non vengano utilizzati cappucci schermati e candele resistive
lo strumento potre e rilevare valori errati. I produttori di candele spesso identificano le candele resistive con una lettera
“R” nella sigla, ad esempio l'NGK BR7ES è una candela resistiva mentre la B7ES è la corrispondente non resistiva.
N.B: Non collegare il cavo elettricamente, il dispositivo verre e danneggiato irrepara ilmente.
Il modulo principale dovrà essere posizionato in modo di avere un’ottima visuale; una volta trovata la collocazione ideale per il
posizionamento del modulo si potrà fissare tramite l’apposito materiale adesivo che troverete nella confezione.
Per il collegamento del cavo nero del contagiri seguire le istruzioni riportate di seguito:
Bo ina separata (cavo candela grosso dell'alta tensione): connettere il coccodrillo” del cavo nero del dispositivo sul cavo
candela equidistante da candela e bobina. Non effettuare spire intorno al cavo candela ed allontanare il più possibile il cavo giri
motore per evitare disturbi dall'accensione.
Bo ina integrata ( o ina a “sigaro” sulla candela): effettuare delle spire intorno ai cavi di alimentazione della bobina, effettuare
almeno 8/9 spire. Nel caso in cui i giri motore vengano rilevati in modo errato provare ad aumentare o diminuire le spire.
Assicurarsi che il cavo non riceva disturbi dai cavi delle altre bobine, questo causerebbe valori dei giri motore errati.
Attenzione, il cavo del pulsante di spegnimento al manubrio è direttamente collegato alle bobine quindi non avvicinare il cavo dei
giri motore a tale cavo.
Sostituzione della atteria: svitare le due viti nella parte inferiore, estrarre il coperchio, sfilare la batteria scarica dalla sede e
inserire la nuova batteria facendo attenzione a rispettare la corretta polarità; richiudere il coperchio e avvitare le viti. RPM utilizza
una batteria CR2032, le batterie garantiscono un’autonomia di circa 3 anni di funzionamento.
FUNZIONAMENTO
L'accensione del dispositivo avviene automaticamente al rilevamento dei giri motore, oppure premendo il pulsante ON/MAX”.
Lo spegnimento dell’ RPM avviene in modo automatico dopo circa 30 secondi dal rilevamento dell’ultimo impulso dei giri motore.
Durante il normale funzionamento l’RPM visualizzerà il numero dei giri motore del veicolo a cui è collegato il dispositivo, con una
risoluzione di 100 giri/minuto, oppure visualizzerà le ore di funzionamento del motore (risoluzione di 6 minuti) a seconda
dell'impostazione scelta tramite il tasto destro SET”:
PULSE 1 - Visualizzazione giri motore, impostazione per motori con 1 scintilla per ogni giro dell'albero motore
PULSE 2 - Visualizzazione giri motore, impostazione per motori con 2 scintille per ogni giro dell'albero motore
PULSE 1/2 - Visualizzazione giri motore, impostazione per motori con 1 scintille per ogni 2 giri dell'albero motore
HOURS - Visualizzazione contaore motore.
Visualizzazione “giri massimi” raggiunti: premere per un istante il pulsante ON/MAX”; il display comincerà a lampeggiare
visualizzando i giri motori massimi e il simbolo MAX”.
Azzeramento “giri massimi”: durante la visualizzazione lampeggiante dei giri motori massimi tenere premuto il pulsante
ON/MAX”, il simbolo MAX” sul display comincerà a lampeggiare sempre più velocemente fino a quando i giri motore massimi
verranno azzerati.
Visualizzazione “contaore motore”: in questa modalità RPM visualizzerà il numero di ore e decimi di ora di funzionamento del
motore a cui è collegato, ad esempio se RPM visualizzerà il numero 12,8 significa che le ore di funzionamento del motore sono 12
mentre i minuti sono 48 (8 X 6 minuti).
Azzeramento “contaore motore”: durante la visualizzazione del contaore tenere premuto il pulsante ON/MAX”, la scritta
HOURS” sul display comincerà a lampeggiare sempre più velocemente fino a quando il contaore motore verrà azzerato.

INTRODUCTION
RPM is a universal tachometer which is completely controlled by microprocessors which count rpm, memorising maximum revs,
auto switch on and auto switch off.
IMPORTANT: This product is water resistant ut not waterproof, do not wash the product under water jet pressure, the
product could e irrepara ly damaged.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT NOTE: On two-stroke engines with strong electromagnetic interference such as scooters, karts and mini ikes,
you must use spark plugs with internal resistor and shielded spark plug caps with internal resistor 5K. In the opposite case,
the instrument could detect incorrect values. The manufacturers of spark plugs often identify the spark plugs with internal
resistor with a letter "R" in the code, for example NGK BR7ES has the internal resistor while the B7ES is the corresponding
without resistor.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not under any circumstances connect the ca le directly to the electrics of the motor ike, the device
would get irrepara ly damaged.
Position the unit so that it can be seen clearly. Once the ideal position has been found for installation the unit can be fixed using the
special adhesive provided.
Installation of black RPM cable, follow the instruction below:
Separate coil ( ig spark plug ca le): position the cable clamp on the sparkplug cable equidistant from spark plug and coil, fix it by
means of two clamps. Do not wrap the cable around the spark plug cable and remove the cable as much as possible to prevent noise
from ignition system. Fix the cable for its length.
Integrated coil (coil over the spark plug): wrap the RPM” wire around the coil power supply cables at least 8/9 times and fix it by
means of two clamps. In case of incorrect value try to increase or decrease the turns.
Be sure that the cable is not close to the other cables of the coils, this would falsify the engine rev count.
Attention, the cable of shutdown button on the handlebar is directly connected to the coils, do not bring the rpm cable near this cable.
Battery replacement: unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the RPM, remove the cover and remove the battery and insert the
new battery paying attention to the polarity; close the cover and screw closed. RPM uses a CR2032 battery, the battery life is about 3
years of operation.
USAGE
The switching on of the device will be in automatically mode at the registered of the engine revs or pushing the ON/MAX” key.
The RPM has automatic switch off 30 seconds after it has received the last impulse.
In normal mode it will show the number of revs of the vehicle for 100 revs / per minute, otherwise it will visualize the engine
working hours counter system, according to the setting up that you will select with the right key SET”:
PULSE 1 - Engine revs visualization, for engines with 1 spark for every rev.
PULSE 2 - Engine revs visualization, for engines with 2 sparks for every rev.
PULSE 1/2 - Engine revs visualization, for engines with 1 spark for every2 revs.
HOURS – To see how long the engine has been running.
View “maximum revs”: push ON/MAX” key once, the display will begin to flash and and show the MAX” symbol.
Reset maximum revs: whilst maximum revs are displayed (flashing display) push the ON/MAX” key, MAX” symbol will
beging to flash more quikly until the maximum engine revs will be reset.
View Engine counter: RPM will show the number of hours and the tenths of an hour with regard to the engine to which it is
connected, for example if the RPM shows 12,8 it means that the engine has been functioning for 12 hours, while the minutes are 48
(8X6 minutes).
Reset engine counter: whilst engine times are displayed push the ON/MAX” key, HOURS” symbol will beging to flash more
quickly until the maximum engine revs will be reset.
