Basic Operation
Your inspection camera is NOT designed to view or capture images in
normal environments. It is designed to allow you to view into hard to
reach places and quickly and easily see things close up, to diagnose
problems in buildings, equipment or behind or underneath objects.
Depending on your model the size of the camera may vary from 10mm to
5.5mm and the focal length from 25mm to 10mm. The focal length is the
smallest distance at which an object can be viewed in focus. If the object
you are looking at appears blurred it is probably because the camera is
too close so move it back until the image becomes clear.
Always clean your camera lens with asoft cloth before use.
Do not try to bend your camera beyond its natural curvature as this will
damage it and void any warranty. Treat your camera carefully and always
clean the lens with asoft cloth before and after use.
Zoom
Your inspection camera allows for four levels of digital zoom to enable
you to get acloser view on an object.

Page No. 13 V1.1
In normal mode, pushing the jog switch up or down increases or
decreases the level of zoom and abar graph will appear on screen
indicating the zoom level. This bar graph will automatically disappear
about three seconds after you stop adjusting the setting.
LED
You also use the jog switch to adjust the brightness of the camera LEDs
but you have to change mode to do this.
In normal mode, press the jog switch to change to the Menu screen, now
moving the jog switch up or down adjusts the LED brightness instead of
the Zoom setting. A similar bar graph appears on screen to show the
current level of LED brightness. This graph will also disappear
automatically approximately three seconds after you stop adjusting.
There are four brightness settings and the lowest setting is designed to
provide the minimum of glare when viewing highly reflective objects.
If set to the brightest settings of level 4and level 3then after five minutes
the system will automatically change the brightness to level 2to save
battery power.
