“A” TUNING

Mouth blow chanter
and test to “A”
on tuner
If you lack confidence in tuning, it is sometimes an advantage to
practice tuning the drones without the chanter.

Using the diagram on the
musette move slide
to its approximate position
and then fine tune to “A”
on the tuner
Complete tuning by then positioning
slide 3 to harmonize with slide 1
when satisfied, complete tuning by
positioning slide 2 .to harmonize with
the other two drones.
Please note slide 2 is optional with the
“A” chanter

Start by closing
of the drones
by moving the
slides fully to their
end positions.

on tuner
