Pairing Steps
Tire Patrol sensors do not come paired with Command Center tablet and hub. The

1) Power on the Command Center tablet and hub. You may
have to connect one or the other to a Dual USB AC/DC
charger if battery is low.
2) On the tablet, navigate to the products settings
SETTINGS>PRODUCTS Enable Tire Patrol with the pill slider.
3) Navigate back to the Dashboard and enter the Tire Patrol
app.
4) Select START to begin the pairing process.

WARNING: Threading on sensors before Command Center tablet and hub are
powered on will result in a failure to pair.
NOTE: If a sensor(s) fails to pair, the tablet will walk you through the pairing
process again for the failed sensor(s).

5) Choose which vehicle(s) and the number of tires you will be
monitoring, then select PAIR.
6) When the tablet prompts, thread sensors onto valve stems
until they are snug. There is a 10 minute pairing window to
thread on the sensors. Each sensor is labeled according to the
tire it should be threaded onto (ie. LF6 is for Left Front on the
vehicle with 6 tires.). As each sensor pairs, the tire’s air
pressure will appear.
7) After all sensors have been paired, you’ll be asked to choose
your HIGH PSI and LOW PSI warning levels for each vehicle.
We recommend 5-10 PSI above and below your recommended
pressures for each vehicle. You can change these at any time.
Once completed, select DONE.
NOTE: If you don’t know the recommended tire pressure for
your vehicles, then your local dealer or tire manufacturer.

Standard transmissions:
•When the sensor is first threaded on for pairing and giving initial reading.
•When pressure has increased or decreased by 3 PSI or every XX min.,
whichever comes first, but only if the vehicle is going down the road.
Communication
Each sensor is powered by a small coin cell battery. To prolong battery life, the
sensors will only communicate at the following times:

Keeping a close eye on tire pressure is about your safety as well as your wallet.
Under-inflated tires flex excessively under load, producing heat and increasing rolling
resistance which wastes fuel. Tires inflated 10 PSI below recommended levels can
reduce truck fuel economy up to 1%. In addition, stress from flexing causes fast and
uneven wear, shortening the life of the tire. Alternatively, over-inflation can lead to
uneven wear and premature tire failure.
WARNING: Remove sensors if taking vehicle through car wash.
Boom! You’re a genius!

OPERATION

Low level alerts:
The tablet will give audible, as well as visual alerts for Low level alerts. These
can be muted on the tablet.
•If LOW PSI or HIGH PSI threshold has been reached.
•BATTERY LOW, if a sensor’s battery is low.
•COMM LOST, if the Command Center tablet or hub hasn’t received
transmission from sensor for XX min.
High level alerts:
The tablet will give audible, as well as visual alerts for High level alerts.
•If HIGH TEMP threshold has been reached. High temperature threshold is
(175˚F).
•FLAT TIRE, if a tire is going flat based on accelerated decrease in tire
pressure.

Remove sensors
To remove sensors, unthread the sensors from the valve stems.
NOTE: To prolong the life of the batteries, remove the sensors when not in use
and store safely. This reduces the number of transmissions. If possible, store in a
climate controlled environment.

Antenna Usage
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC
rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. FCC
radiation Exposure Statement to comply with FCC RV exposure requirements in section 1.1307, a minimum separation distance
of 0.81 cm (0.3 inches) is required between the antenna and all persons. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiver antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The Installer of this radio equipment must ensure that the antenna is located or pointes such that it does not emit RV field in
excess of Health Canada limits for the general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s website
