Congratulations and thank you for purchasing RYDEEN TOMBO 360, our 360-degree
surround view mirror monitor DVR. We hope you will enjoy using this exciting product
and trust that it will make your driving experience more comfortable and hassle-free.
The TOMBO 360 is a 10-inch high-definition frameless touch screen rearview mirror
equipped with a 360-degree high-definition digital camera, which will provide the
driver with a high-definition 360-degree view of the interior and exterior of the
vehicle. When equipped with the optional TOMBO ProKit 1, you will be able to view
the rear camera of the vehicle when selected at your command. When shifting into
reverse, it will automatically display in full-screen the backup camera to provide you
with a reference when backing out. If the use of the display is no longer needed, the
display can be turned off manually to serve as a rearview mirror only and continue
video recording in the background.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE
USING THE PRODUCT
The product aims to provide a 360-degree panoramic view of the inside and outside
of the vehicle, and will provide you with a safer, more comfortable and convenient
driving experience. Therefore, we recommend that you read and follow all the
information and instructions in this user manual to make your TOMBO 360 achieve
the best performance and satisfaction.
Your TOMBO 360 IS NOT a substitute for personal judgment. The field of view of
the backup camera of this product is limited. Some objects, roads and other
vehicles may not be visible. ALWAYS LOOK AHEAD, LOOK AROUND, KEEP A
SAFE DISTANCE FROM OTHER VEHICLES WHEN DRIVING AND PARKING,
DO NOT JUST USE A REARVIEW MIRROR. DO NOT DEPEND SOLELY ON THE
PRODUCT FOR COMPLETE FIELD OF VIEW.

Objects displayed in the mirror may be closer than they appear. When changing
or merging into a lane, please check your sideview mirrors and check your
surroundings of the vehicle to avoid injury, death or vehicle damage that may be
caused by this operation.
DO NOT OPERATE THIS PRODUCT or TOUCHSCREEN WHILE THE VEHICLE
IS IN MOTION, as those actions may affect safe driving. If you need to operate,
please park the vehicle in a safe area before performing elated operations.
SEVERE INJURY RISK - DO NOT mount your TOMBO 360 on the surface or in
the deployment field of your vehicle’s driver and passenger airbag units.
SEVERE INJURY RISK - SECURE THE VELCRO MOUNTING of your TOMBO
360 firmly, to avoid the risk of injury to the passengers in the event of a vehicle
accident or collision.
Position the unit in a location that does not obstruct the driver’s view of the road,
instruments or vehicle controls.
Make sure that the TOMBO 360 device and the provided bracket or adhesive are
properly attached to the vehicle’s windshield.
DO NOT attempt to modify or disassemble the TOMBO 360 unit. Personal injury
or damage could result. If a problem occurs, stop using the system immediately
and contact RYDEEN. Changes or modifications to the TOMBO 360 will void the
warranty and its compliance with FCC rules.
If you notice any of the following: (Unidentified liquid on the unit; smoke rising
out of the unit; unusual odor emanating from the unit) –
STOP USING THE UNIT
IMMEDIATELY. Contact the nearest RYDEEN retailer or call RYDEEN Customer

DO NOT mount your TOMBO 360 on any non-automotive form of transportation
(motorcycles, bikes, ATV’s, watercraft).

DO NOT use any sharp object to operate your unit’s touch-screen displ ay.
Excessive force could damage the LCD display.
Keep the TOMBO 360 unit out of reach of small children. Removable parts
(microSD memory card) can be a choking hazard.
The TOMBO 360 Unit IS NOT WATERPROOF. Avoid exposing it to rain or
other forms of excessive moisture.
Water damage is not covered under the warranty.

detection monitoring system, the LED lights will indicate
when a vehicle is inside the detection zone.

Equipped with six infrared lights for night time visibility for

Short press to (turn On/Off ) the LCD Monitor. Long press
to Power On/Off.

camera
A fisheye camera with a 360-degree view.
6MicroSD card

Use the screw driver provided with this product to open
the cover of the microSD card slot and insert or remove
the microSD card.
7LED indicator
While video recording is in process, the blue LED indicator
is turned off. When video recording function is off, the
LED indicator will flash. You can enable or disable the LED
indicator within the menu.
8Photo sensor
The photo sensor turns the IR on/off by sensing the
intensity and brightness of the ambient lighting around the
vehicle.

GUIDANCE FOR INSTALLATION.
● Dropping your TOMBO 360 unit or subjecting it to excessive shock and
vibrations as this may cause it to malfunction and is not covered by
warranty.

● Most vehicles have the mirror mounted directly onto the glass, therefore
improper tools or techniques used in the installation could result in a
damaged or broken windshield. Rydeen is not responsible for damages to
windshield caused by installation processes.
DIY Installation
(For TOMBO 360 standard package)
Step 1
Use the
provided
Velcro straps and insert between
the rear slots of the TOMBO 360.
Paste the adhesive provided
in the position as shown in the picture below. This will
prevent vibration and protect the original rear-view mirror from being scratched. Loop
the Velcro straps around the original mirror and tighten down the strap.

Upgrade Package Installation for TOMBO ProKit 1
(SOLD SEPARATELY)
Step 1
Remove
the existing mirror and unplug the connector,
if one exists. (Note: All vehicles
use
different mounting solutions. If necessary,
consult your local automotive dealer
or installation professional for specific instructions.)
Note: If your vehicle uses a universal D-Tab mount, do not remove the D-Tab and
use the VSM-AV mount provided.
TOMBO ProKit 1 is purchased and

Method 1 (Use VSM-AV Mount Stem)
1) Insert TOMBO 360 Mirror Back Plate for windshield mount onto the back side of
the TOMBO 360 mirror, using provided screws.
2) Attach VSM-AV mount onto the TOMBO 360 Back Plate using provided screws.
3) Reattach the TOMBO 360 mirror by sliding the VSM-AV mount onto the factory
windshield tab.
4) Adjust to the suitable angle to the mirror, then proceed to Step 2.
Note: If Rydeen Mirror does not fit into factory windshield tab, please use the
included universal mounting solution.
Method 2
(Use Universal Mount Package)
1) Insert TOMBO 360 Mirror Back Plate for windshield mount onto the back side of
the TOMBO 360 mirror, using provided screws.
2) Attach Universal mount onto the TOMBO 360 Back Plate using provided screws.
3) Select correct insert size for your vehicles application.

5) Adjust to the suitable angle to the mirror, then proceed to Step 2.

Note: If the diameter of the factory joint mount in your vehicle is 22mm, then you
do not require the use of any Mount Adaptor Inserts.
Method 3 (
Use the L-shape mount stem and universal mount package for
rooftop application)
1) Insert TOMBO 360 Mirror Back Plate for windshield mount onto the back side of
the TOMBO 360 mirror, using provided screws.
2) Attach the L-Shape Mount Stem to the backpack of the mirror using the provided
washers and screws.
3) Attach the Universal Mount Adaptor to the L-Shape Mount Stem using the provided
screws.
4) Select correct insert size for your vehicles application.
5) Mount TOMBO 360 onto factory stem and firmly secure the mount nut.
6) Adjust to the suitable angle to
the mirror and front 360° camera,
then proceed to Step 2.
Step 2
Connect each unit according to the wiring diagram (page 10).
1) Route the wires along the interior trim panel and go down the A-pillar, use the

provided pry tool to tuck the wires within the panels. Make your ACC, +12V, GND
and Reverse Trigger connections.
2) Follow the wiring diagram, install the backup camera and other accessories.
