1. Beschreibung
Der Funksensor LUXeye Sense DALI BT ist eine drahtlose Passiv-Infrarot-Sensoreinheit mit
zwei Sensoren für die Erfassung der Anwesenheit von Personen (Präsenzmelder) und die Messung
der Intensität des Umgebungslichts (Lichtsensor).
Außerdem hat das Gerät einen DALI-Broadcast-Ausgangskanal und kann über einen Standardtaster
bedient werden (optional).
Die Sensoreinheit hat zwei Montageausführungen - Deckeneinbau- und Deckenanbau-Variante.
Der Präsenzmelder dient dazu, das Licht bei Bewegungserfassung helligkeitsabhängig einzuschalten und
anschließend wieder auszuschalten, wenn es nicht mehr benötigt wird.
Der Lichtsensor liefert dazu den aktuellen Lichtwert. Der gemessene Lichtwert ist abhängig von
Tageslichteinfall, der künstlichen Beleuchtung und der Beschaffenheit der Umgebung (hell, dunkel).
Die Sensoreinheit arbeitet vollautomatisch und die von Sensoren erfassten Werte (Bewegung, Lichtwert)
regeln das Schaltverhalten von Leuchten auf Basis der vom Anwender gewählten Parametereinstellungen.
Der Anwender konfiguriert die gewünschten Sensorenparameter mit Hilfe der App.
Die Sensoreinheit wird drahtlos per Bluetooth 4.0 von der App mit einem Smartphone
oder Tablet konfiguriert. Es werden Geräte vom Typ Android(ab 4.4) und Apple(ab iOS 8.4) unterstützt.
Die App kann kostenfrei aus dem Apple Store oder Google Play Store runtergeladen werden.
1. Description
The sensor unit is controlled wirelessly via app with smartphone and tablet applications using
Bluetooth 4.0 protocol. The app supports Android (from 4.4) and Apple (from iOS 8.4) devices
and can be downloaded free of charge from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
This is a passive infrared sensor LUXeye Sense DALI BT unit with two sensors for detecting
the presence of people (presence sensor) and measuring the intensity of ambient light (light sensor).
In addition, the device has a DALI broadcast output channel and can be operated via a standard push
button(optional).
The sensor unit has two construction versions - ceiling flush and ceiling surface mounted version.
The presence sensor is used to switch the light on when the motion is detected depending
on the brightness and then switch it off again when it is no longer required. The light sensor provides
the current light value and regulates the dim level according to the measured value.
The measured light value depends on daylight, the artificial lighting and the nature of the environment
(light, dark).
The sensor unit operates fully automatically and the values recorded by sensors (movement, light value)
control the switching of luminaires based on the user-selected parameter settings.
The user adjusts the desired sensor parameters with the help of an app.

2. Platzierung der Sensoreinheit im Raum
Bei der Wahl des Montageortes müssen folgende Punkte berücksichtigt werden:
1. Beachten Sie, dass das Erfassungsfeld des PIR-Präsenzsensors durch Hindernisse,
wie z.B. Möbel, Säulen, große Pflanzen etc. eingeschränk wird. Bewegungen im
Erfassungsschatten werden nicht erkannt. Zudem muss der Präsenzmelder vibrationsfrei
montiert werden, da Sensorbewegungen ebenfalls das Schalten auslösen können.
2. Der Lichtsensor muss zur fensterabgewandten Seite montiert werden, um unerwünschte
Streulichteinwirkung zu vermeiden.

Der Sensor muss so an der Decke positioniert werden, dass sich die Hände der
Person im Raum im Zentrum des Erfassungsbereichs befinden, ohne von einem

2. Placement of the sensor unit in the room
!
When choosing a mounting location, the following points should be considered:
1. Notice that the detection field of the PIR presence sensor is restricted by obstacles such as
furniture, columns, large plants, etc. Movements outside of the detection area are not detected.
In addition, the presence sensor has to be mounted vibration-free, since sensor movements can
also trigger the switching.
2. The light sensor should be mounted to the side facing away from the window to avoid
unwanted influence of scattered light.
