1.1 Rack System (S24.0, S8.4, S2.5)
1. Use the included rack mounting screws to secure the amplifier in the rack as shown.
2. Connect power to the power input terminal and check the STBY LED on the front panel is on.
3. Be sure that the connection wiring of other equipment does not pass near the fan of this unit.

If the Switch of the rear panel is ON, the blue LED will light up and AMP will enter the operating state.
If the Switch on the rear panel is OFF and the AC Cord is connected, the red LED lights up and the AMP go into standby mode.
When the AMP is normal output, the green LED lights up and when it is in Clip or Protection state, the orange LED lights up.
S : If AMP is normal output, the brightness of LED will be different according to output level.
C :
This LED indicates the distortion of the output sound. If AMP output is distorted due to the input of the AMP, the
Orange LED will be on for the duration of the interval.
P :
If an error occurs in the unit due to overheating or other problems, the orange LED will remain lit and the output
signal to the speaker will be cut off.
It is the LED displayed Bridged Mono Mode. When the Bridge Switch on the Rear panel is ON, the orange LEDs of the
corresponding two channels are turned on.
(S24.0 and S8.4 Only)
※ S24.0 : Bridged Mono Mode is No.3+4CH, No.5+6CH.
S8.4 : Bridged Mono Mode is No.1+2CH, No.3+4CH, No.5+6CH and No.7+8CH.

It is a switch to supply power. When it is pressed up, Power LED will light up and the device will operate.
By connecting the PC through the Network, you can monitor the AMP status.
It is power cord connector and applied by Neutrik powerCON TRUE1. Operating Voltage is AC 200~230V, 50~60Hz.

This function is for connecting two or more AMPs and it is useful when multiple AMPs are used together with the same
input signal.
※ S24.0: Use DSUB-25PIN cable for LOOP OUT/LOOP IN.
S8.4: Connect the cable to the provided Terminal Block according to the channel.

6. Level Adjust
Rear Panel and Functions
A volume for level adjustment is provided for each channel.
The potentiometer’s operational range is 0 dB to minus infinity in 20 steps.
Attenuation is logarithmic, with -13 dB at the 12 o’clock position.
See table for levels at other increments.
In Bridged Mode, the level adjust of the odd channel is used.

8. Link Switch (STL : See To the Left)
Place the switch to the right to set Link Mode. The input signal on the left is input to the right input channel as well.
It is very convenient to use the same input signal on several channels together.
In this case, never connect the input to the right side.
9. Bridged Switch
Place the switch to the right to operate in Bridged Mode.
In this mode, only odd channels can be operated for both input and volume.

NMS
Network Monitoring System
1.1 Dedicated Software: NMS
NMS is a dedicated GUI (Graphic User Interface) program to operate SAC S-series Amp.
The monitor information of the SAC S-series Amp has Title, Model Name, Network connection status, Location, Audio
Signal, Clip
Signal, Protection Signal, Bridge status and temperature.
You can also configure the network with Network Setup. PC, MAC and the latest software is available at www.sac-audio.com
[NMS GUI]
The NMS, which is dedicated software for the SAC S-series Amp, can be installed on PC and MAC. The specifications
applicable to NMS are as follows. Before installing the software, check the computer virus and install the software.
2. CPU: 1GHz or higher and 32bit or 64bit processor
3. RAM: 32bit is more than 2GB, 64bit is more than 4GB
4. HDD: 32bit is more than 16GB, 64bit is more than 20GB
5. Display: DirectX 9 Graphics device. Over 1024 x 768 resolutions
1.2 Computer Requirements
Proceed as follows to install the NMS Software
1.3 Install dedicated software for the computer
1. Download the latest NMS to your computer from the SAC
website
(www.sac-audio.com)
2. Unzip the downloaded NMS file
3. Double-click the unzipped NMS installation file to run it.
4.
Select the location you want to install and select the Start menu
folder. Follow the installation wizard’s procedure that appears on
your computer screen.
5. When installation is complete, click “Finish” button.
6. When you click “Finish” button, a shortcut icon for NMS will be
created on the desktop.
NMS is a function that remotely checks the operation status of AMP through network and works with
dedicated software.

1.4 Network Settings
Network configuration is required to monitor the SAC S-series Amp with PC, MAC. The network setup for the SAC S-series Amp is
easy and simple. Follow the procedure below.
1.4.1 Static IP 1.4.2 DHCP IP
(Use Switcher or router)
1. Your PC must have NMS installed. (Refer to 1.3 for details)
2. Connect LAN cable to the Ethernet port of SAC S-series Amp
3. Connect the other LAN cable to the computer’s network port
4. Power on the SAC S-series Amp product
5. Open your computer’s network settings window as shown
above, enter the following IP address manually, and click OK
6. Click the NMS icon on the desktop
7. You can monitor the status of the SAC S-series Amp
as shown above.
1. Your PC must have NMS installed. (Refer to 1.3 for details)
2. Connect LAN cable to the Ethernet port of SAC S-series Amp
from the switcher or the router.
3. Connect the other LAN cable to the computer’s network port
from the switcher or the router.
4. Power on the SAC S-series Amp
5. Open the computer's network settings window as shown
above, select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS
server address automatically. Then click OK.
6. Click the NMS icon on the desktop of the control computer.
7. You can monitor the status of the SAC S-series Amp as
shown above.

NMS Monitor can monitor SAC S-series Amp’s Title, Model Name, Network Connect, Find a Location, Audio Signal,
Clip, Protection, Temperature, etc.
1. Title : You can edit the Title name. Sort by title name.
2. Model Name : Displays the model information.
3. Network Connect: Displays Network connect status.
4. Find : You can nd easily a location of the Amp by 3 second LED blinking in the front panel.
5. Network Setup: Allowed to set Network mode. The network mode setting allows the DHCP and Static IP settings.
The basic network is set as DHCP.
6. Audio Signal : Displays the signal status.
7. Clip Signal : Displays Clip signal status.
8. Protection Signal : Displays Protection signal status.
9. Temperature :
Displays Temperature status. The temperature is Celsius.
10. Bridge : Displays Bridge status.

2. You can check the DHCP Mode and IP Address setting.
After conrming, click the OK button at the bottom right.
2. You can check and edit the Static Mode and IP Address,
Subnet, Gateway settings.
Network Setup allows you to set the network mode of the SAC S-series Amp. The network mode setting allows
DHCP and Static IP settings. The basic network is DHCP IP conguration.
You can check the DHCP IP setting.
How to check the DHCP IP Address setting is as follows.
