socket when you carry out maintenance activities on the
machine.
It is recommended that the outer surface of the machine should be
cleaned once a week with a dust cloth You may also use a damp
cloth with a gentle–action cleanser
WARNING: DO NOT LET THE MACHINE GET WET.
Each week:
Check the dustbag to see if it is full, replace if necessary
Each month:
Check and clean the filter in the inlet opening of the suction motor
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VACUUM CLEANER INCLUDES A
COLLECTOR MOTOR, WHICH RUNS ON CARBON BRUSHES.
BRUSHES ARE LIABLE TO WEAR AND ON AVERAGE NEED TO BE
REPLACED BETWEEN 800 AND 1200 HOURS OF USE.
THIS MACHINE HAS NOT BEEN DEVELOPED FOR LONG
PERIODS OF USE, ONLY FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 – 4 HOURS PER
DAY.
IF THE CARBON BRUSHES ARE REPLACED AND THE MACHINE
IS KEPT MAINTAINED, THEN THE AVERAGE LIFE SPAN OF THE
MOTOR IS 2000 HOURS. AS WITH ALL MACHINES, FILTERS AND
PAPER BAGS NEED TO BE REPLACED AT REGULAR INTERVALS.
OVERHEATING
The temperature of the suction motor is measured constantly If the
temperature becomes too high, the sensor will switch off the suction
motor Check whether the suction system is blocked or the dustbag
maybe full The sensor will be automatically switched on again after
the sensor and the motor have cooled down sufficiently You can now
start to use the machine again
