Please read the instructions and warnings carefully before use.
Your children’s safety is your responsibility.
A fireguard is designed to protect people from falling into a fire,
prevent burns and reduce the risk of injury, particularly to
young people and the infirm. It is not intended to reduce the
risk of fires caused by flying particles.
WARNING: No object should be placed on the fireguard.
WARNING: Do not dry washing or air clothes on the fireguard.
Additional Information
This fireguard is adjustable from 84.5cm to 155cm in width
(155-214cm with additional extensions). It measures 69cm
from the base to the top of the fireguard and 44cm in depth
from the wall. It will fit around hearths and appliances within
these dimensions.
Attach and position in accordance with manufacturer’s
instructions. In order to provide adequate protection from the
heat source, the fireguard must be assembled and fitted
securely according to these instructions before use. Follow the
assembly steps in the order given.
When assembled and fitted this product conforms to BS
8423:2010. This safety product will not necessarily prevent all
accidents, and so be aware of hazards associated with children
attempting to climb it, reach through it with fingers or objects
and/or throw items onto the top of it.
Never hang items from the fireguard.
Always supervise your child near fires and sources of heat. Be
mindful that any object placed too close to a heat source may
become hot to the touch.
Store this product away from children when not in use.
POSITIONING THE FIREGUARD
A* - Position the
fireguard so that all
parts of it are at
least 300mm away
from any exposed
burning fuel, heated
elements or
radiants.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS:
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use
abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents because they can be
detrimental to the health of your child and can affect the finish
of the product. A non-toxic enamel paint may be used to
maintain the surface condition of the fireguard if chips occur
over time.
The fireguard should be inspected regularly to ensure that it is
secure and functioning in accordance with these instructions. Do
not use if any part is broken or missing. Only use additional or
replacement parts supplied by the manufacturer and these can
be obtained from Safetots Limited.
Careless handling may cause damage.

Assemble away from children as the fittings pack contains small
parts which may present a choking hazard. Lay out the parts on
a soft level surface and compare to the parts checklist. Do not
throw away any packaging until you are sure that you have all
the parts. A structurally sound surface is required to ensure the
Screw Eyes are fitted securely. Use the Screw Eyes supplied for
screwing directly into wood. For fixing to plastered walls,
plasterboard, concrete or brick surfaces, surface preparation
and separately purchased wall plugs, appropriate for the
mounting surface, will be required. The wall plugs should be
sized to suit a No.8 wood screw, to use with the Screw eyes
supplied.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1 Remove Cable Ties
2 Unfold Left Hand Assembly
(This side has the warning tag attached).
Press Clips (A) on top panel to side panel to secure. (Fig 1)
3 Repeat for Right Hand Assembly
4 Lay the Left Hand Assembly over the Right Hand Assembly.
Adjust to give the desired overall width by increasing or
decreasing the overlap. (Minimum overlap of 8cm)
5 Secure the Two Assemblies
Ensure the grids on each panel line up. Use the 4 Fixing Plates
(Fig2) in the positions shown at Point B with the smaller plates
underneath.
If you are using the minimum overlap
use only 2 Fixing Plates (Fig 3)
FIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the surface as appropriate and fit the Screw Eyes
firmly into the mounting surface at the height of the
Securing Clips.
Attach the Securing Clips on both sides of the Fireguard
to the Screw Eyes.

RECOMENDACIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO: Para limpiar utilice un paño húmedo y luego seque el producto

RECOMMANDATIONS DE NETTOYAGE ET D'ENTRETIEN: Nettoyez le produit à l'aide d'un chiffon humide, puis séchez-le complètement. N'utilisez
pas de produits ou de détergents abrasifs ou agressifs car ils peuvent nuire à la santé de votre bébé et endommager la finition du produit. Une
peinture émaillée peut être utilisée pour entretenir la surface si, avec le temps, un écaillage se produit sur la surface. La barrière pare-feu doit être
inspectée régulièrement pour assurer sa sécurité et son bon fonctionnement conformément à ces instructions. N'utilisez pas le produit en cas de

et correctement insérés. Utilisez les œillets à vis fournis pour les fixer directement dans le bois. Afin de pouvoir monter sur des murs en plaques de
plâtre, des surfaces en plâtre, en béton ou en brique, une préparation préalable de la surface et l'achat de chevilles murales, appropriées pour la
fixation, seront nécessaires. Les chevilles murales doivent être spécifiques pour s'adapter à des vis à bois de taille N 8, à utiliser avec les œillets de

RACCOMANDAZIONI SU PULIZIA & MANUTENZIONE: Pulire il prodotto usando un panno inumidito e poi asciugare completamente. Non ulizzare
prodotti o detergenti abrasivi o aggressivi perché possono nuocere alla salute del vostro bambino e danneggiare la finitura del prodotto. Si
potrebbe usare una vernicie a smalto per mantenere la superficie, se nel corso del tempo dovessero verificarsi scheggiature sulla superficie. Il
parafuoco dovrebbe essere ispezionato regolarmente per assicurarne la sicurezza e il corretto funzionamento in accordo con queste istruzioni. Non
usare il prodotto nel caso di parti rotte o mancanti. Usare solo parti aggiuntive o pezzi di ricambio forniti dal produttore e che possono essere

l’acquisto di tasselli a muro appropriati per il fissaggio. I tasselli a muro dovrebbero essere specifici per adattarsi ad una misura N 8 di viti per legno,

insbesondere für junge und gebrechliche Menschen, zu verringern. Es ist nicht dazu da, die Feuergefahr durch fliegende Partikel zu reduzieren.
ACHTUNG: Kein Gegenstand soll auf das Kaminschutzgitter gelegt werden.
ACHTUNG: Das Kaminschutzgitter nicht zum Trocknen von Wäsche oder Lüften von Kleidung nutzen. INFORMATIONEN: Die zur Nutzung
relevanten Maße des Kaminschutzgitters sind wie folgt: Breite 84,5cm-155cm (155cm-214cm mit Verlängerungen) Tiefe 44cm Höhe 69cm.
Befestigen und positionieren Sie das Gitter gemäß der Anleitung des Herstellers. Um ausreichenden Schutz vor der Hitzequelle zu gewährleisten,
muss das Kaminschutzgitter wie in dieser Anleitung angegeben aufgebaut und sicher befestigt werden, bevor es zum Einsatz kommt. Befolgen Sie
die Montageschritte in der angegebenen Reihenfolge. Wenn das Produkt aufgebaut und befestigt wurde, entspricht es BS 8423:2010. Dieses
Sicherheitsprodukt kann nicht unbedingt jeden Unfall verhindern. Seien Sie sich daher der Risiken bewusst, wenn Kinder versuchen, darauf zu

EMPFEHLUNGEN ZUR REINIGUNG & WARTUNG: Zur Reinigung mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen und gründlich abtrocknen. Keine
Scheuermittel oder scharfe Reinigungsmittel benutzen, da diese schädlich für die Gesundheit Ihres Kindes sein und die Oberfläche des Produktes
beschädigen können. Mit einem ungiftigen Emaillack kann die Oberfläche behandelt werden, wenn mit der Zeit Schäden an der Oberfläche des
Kaminschutzgitters auftreten sollten. Das Kamingitter sollte regelmäßig untersucht werden um sicherzustellen, dass es sicher ist und gemäß der
Anleitung funktioniert. Nutzen Sie es nicht, wenn Teile defekt sind oder fehlen. Nutzen Sie nur Zubehör- oder Ersatzteile, die vom Hersteller
angeboten werden; diese sind bei Safetots Limited erhältlich. Unvorsichtiger Umgang kann zu Beschädigungen führen.
MONTAGE DES KAMINSCHUTZGITTERS: A* Platzieren Sie das Kaminschutzgitter so, dass all seine Bestandteile mindestens 300 mm von offenen
Feuerquellen, Heizelementen oder Wärmestrahlungsquellen entfernt sind.
MONTAGE: Bauen Sie es nicht in der Nähe von Kindern auf, da im Montagezubehör kleine Teile enthalten sind, die eine Erstickungsgefahr
darstellen können. Legen Sie die Teile auf einer weichen, ebenen Oberfläche aus und vergleichen Sie sie mit der Stückliste. Bewahren Sie alle Teile
der Verpackung auf, bis Sie sichergestellt haben, dass alle Teile vorhanden sind. Eine tragfähige Oberfläche ist notwendig, damit die
Ösenschrauben sicher befestigt werden können. Nutzen Sie die beiliegenden Ösenschrauben, wenn Sie direkt in Holz schrauben. Zur Befestigung
auf verputzten Wänden, Gipskartonwand, Beton- oder Ziegeloberflächen muss die Wandoberfläche vorbereitet werden und separat erhältliche
Dübel, passend zur Oberfläche, verschraubt werden. Die Wanddübel sollten passend zu Holzschrauben der Größe Nr. 8 sein, um die beiliegenden
