IMPORTANT:
The quality and dimensions of the mattress that this bedguard is fitted to will have an impact on the safety of this product. Never use with an
inflatable mattress or a mattress which compresses easily where the mattress edge meets the bedguard.
When fitted as instructed, this product conforms to BS7972:2001+A1:2009.
This bedguard is not recommended for use by children under the age of 18 months or when the child is over the age of 5 years.
This bedguard is recommended for use only by children who can climb in and out of bed unaided.
This bedguard should not be used as a substitute for a cot, as it cannot provide the same level of safety as a cot.
POSITIONING YOUR BED RAIL:
STANDARD HEIGHT (38cm) BED RAIL
For use with mattresses that have a
maximum thickness of 18cm.
EXTRA TALL (60cm) BED RAIL
For use with mattresses that have a
maximum thickness of 42cm.
Always ensure that the entire length of the bedguard, when placed in the fitted position, touches the side of the mattress. Any gaps could pose a
risk of entrapment to your child.
Do not use the bedguard without the fixing devices being in place and securely attached to the bedguard and the bed.
Once in position, check to make certain that the bedguard is properly fitted and secure.
This bedguard should not be used on a sleeping surface that is more than 60 cm from the floor.
WARNING:
*A - To prevent the risk of strangulation it is essential to
ensure that when the bedguard is fitted into position,
there is a gap of at least 250 mm (10 in), between each
end of the bed and the corresponding end of the
bedguard.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents because they can be detrimental to the health of your child
and can affect the finish of the product.
The bedguard should be periodically checked for its general condition with particular reference to the security of an y locking mechanism and/or
hinges that are used on the product. Routinely check that all the assembly fittings are tightened properly and retighten if necessary using the Allen
key provided. Do not use this product if any part is broken, torn or missing. Careless handling may cause damage.
Check to make certain that the bedguard is properly fitted and secure after linen/mattress housekeeping.
Additional or replacement parts should be obtained only from the manufacturer.

Para una protección máxima y un confort óptimo para tu bebé, es muy importante que lea el manual con atención y que siga las instrucciones.
