OPERATING YOUR NEW APPLIANCE
Before rst use, remove and safely discard any
packing material, promotional labels and tape
from the wae maker.
1. Wipe the wae maker cooking plates with
a damp sponge or cloth. Dry thoroughly.
2. Place the wae maker on a at, dry surface.
Ensure there is a minimum distance of 10cm
of space on all sides of the wae maker.
Ensure there are no items on top of the
wae maker.
3. Unwind the power cord completely and insert
the power plug into a grounded 220–240V
power outlet.
4. Turn the POWER / MENU dial clockwise until
the dial indicator reaches the desired wae
type or choose the CUSTOM setting.
HEATING will be displayed on the LCD.
NOTE
When the wale maker is turned on
for the rst time, it may emit vapors.
It is safe and not detrimental to the
performance of the appliance.
5. There are 12 browning settings ranging
from ‘1’ (lightest) to ‘12’ (darkest).The default
browning setting is‘6.’ Use the Light-Dark
browning control dial to adjust the brownness
of your wae. Rotate clockwise to increase
brownness, or rotate counterclockwise to reduce
the brownness for a lighter coloured wae.
6. Once the wae maker has completed the
preheating cycle, two audible alerts will sound
and the LCD screen will turn orange. Lift the
top plate lid completely into the open position.
When the lid is in the open position, the LCD
will turn blue and close lid to start will appear.
Pour in the batter evenly into the wae plates.
The batter should cover the peaks of the wae
plate (approximately half the wae dosing cup
for each wae).
7. Close the lid once the batter has been
poured in. Once the lid is closed, the timer will
automatically begin to count down.The LCD
changes to orange to indicate that the cooking
cycle has commenced. The wae maker will
automatically calculate the correct cooking
time depending on a number of variables.
NOTE
The storage clip should be in it's open
position when the wale maker is cooking.
8. Three audible alerts will sound at the end
of the cooking cycle, the timer will disappear
and “End” will be shown on the screen.
Open the wae maker lid and carefully remove
your waes. If you will no longer be cooking
any more waes, turn the Selector Dial to the
OFF position.
NOTE
Do not use metal utensils when removing
the waes from the wae maker as they
may scratch the non-stick surface.
NOTE
If waes are not removed immediately
after the cooking cycle has completed,
an audible alert will sound every
30 seconds.
9. If you are cooking additional waes, simply
add more batter to the lower wae plate and
follow steps 7 & 8 above. If necessary to reset
the time cycle, press the RESTART button.
A BIT MORE™
Allows you to conveniently and quickly add time
to a cooking cycle. A BIT MORE™can be used
both during the cooking cycle or immediately
after the cooking cycle has nished. In both
instances, it will add a small amount of time
proportional to the overall cooking time for
that batch of waes.

CARE & CLEANING
Before cleaning, ensure the POWER / MENU
dial is set to the OFF position and then remove
the power plug from the power outlet.
Allow your wae maker to cool a bit before
cleaning. The wae maker is easier to clean
when slightly warm.
Always clean your wae maker after each
use to prevent a build-up of baked-on foods.
Wipe cooking plates and overow moat with
a soft cloth to remove food residue.
PFOA-FREE NON-STICK COATING
Cooking on a non-stick surface minimizes the
need for oil, food does not stick and cleaning
is easier. Any discolouration that may occur
will only detract from the appearance of the
wae maker and will not aect the cooking
performance.When cleaning the non-stick
coating, do not use metal (or other abrasive)
scourers.Wash with warm soapy water.
Remove stubborn residue with a non abrasive
plastic scouring pad or nylon washing brush.
NOTE
Do not use spray-on non-stick coatings
as this will aect the performance of the
non-stick surface on the cooking plates.
STORAGE
To store your wae maker:
1. Ensure the POWER / MENU dial is set to the
OFF position and then unplug power cord from
the power outlet.
2. Allow the wae maker to fully cool.
3. Set the top plate storage clip into the
locked position.
4. Wrap the power cord in the cord wrap area
below the wae maker.
5. Store on a at, dry level surface.

Arbeitsplatten oder Tischkanten
hängen lassen, von heißen
Oberächen fern halten,
Kabelgewirr vermeiden.
• Zwischen dem Gerät und
Wänden oder hitze- bzw.
dampfempndlichen Materialien
mindestens 20 cm Abstand
halten und nach allen Seiten
und oberhalb des Geräts
stets ausreichend Platz zur
Luftzirkulation lassen.
• Sicherstellen, dass das
Netzkabel beim Gebrauch
oder während der Lagerung

BEDIENUNG IHRES NEUEN GERÄTS
Vor der Inbetriebnahme das gesamte
Verpackungsmaterial, Werbeetiketten und
Klebeband vom Waeleisen entfernen und
sicher entsorgen.
1. Waeleisenbackplatten mit einem feuchten
Schwamm oder Lappen abwischen.
Gründlich abtrocknen.
2. Waeleisen auf eine ebene, trockene
Oberäche stellen.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass an allen Seiten
des Waeleisens ein freier Mindestabstand
von 10 cm besteht.Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass sich keine Gegenstände auf dem
Waeleisen benden.
4. Das Netzkabel komplett abwickeln und den
Stecker in eine geerdete Stromsteckdose
mit 220–240 V stecken. Den Drehregler
POWER / MENU im Uhrzeigersinn drehen,
bis der Drehknopfanzeiger den gewünschten
Waeltyp erreicht oder wählen Sie mit der
Taste CUSTOM eine individuelle Einstellung.
Auf der LCD-Anzeige erscheint das Wort
HEATING (AUFHEIZEN).
HINWEIS
Beim erstmaligen Anschalten des
Waeleisens werden evtl. Dämpfe
abgegeben. Dies ist ungefährlich
und wirkt sich nicht nachteilig auf
die Leistung des Geräts aus.
5. Es gibt 12 Einstellungen für den
Bräunungsgrad: von 1 (am hellsten) bis 12
(am dunkelsten).Die Werkseinstellung ist
6. Benutzen Sie den Kontrollregler LIGHT-
DARK, um den Bräunungsgrad Ihrer Wael
anzupassen. Für mehr Bräune den Regler
im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, für weniger
Bräune und eine hellere Wael den Regler
entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
6. Wenn das Waeleisen den Vorheizzyklus
beendet hat, ertönen zwei akustische
Signale und die LCD-Anzeige wird orange.
Heben Sie den oberen Plattendeckel
vollständig in die geönete Position. Wenn
der Plattendeckel sich in der geöneten
Position bendet, wird die LCD-Anzeige
sich auf Blau stellen und die Anweisung
zum Deckelschließen und Starten erscheint.
Den Teig gleichmäßig in die Waelplatten
hineingießen. Der Teig sollte die Spitzen der
Waelplatten bedecken (ca. jeweils die Hälfte
des Dosierungsbechers für jede Wael).
7. Deckel nach dem Teigeingießen schließen.
Nach dem Schließen des Deckels wird
der Backzeitzähler automatisch mit dem
Herunterzählen beginnen. Die LCD-Anzeige
wird orange, um anzuzeigen, dass der
Backzyklus begonnen hat. Das Waeleisen
wird, abhängig von einer Anzahl von Variablen,
automatisch die korrekte Backzeit berechnen.
HINWEIS
Der Aufbewahrungsclip muss sich in
der Oenposition benden, wenn das
Waeleisen bäckt.
8. Am Ende des Backzyklus sind drei akustische
Signale zu hören, die Zeitschaltuhr ist nicht
mehr sichtbar und das Wort „End“ wird auf dem
Bildschirm erscheinen. Waeleisendeckel önen
und die Waeln vorsichtig herausnehmen. Wenn
keine weiteren Waeln gebacken werden, den
Drehknopf auf die OFF-Position bringen, um das
Gerät auszuschalten.
HINWEIS
Keine Kochutensilien aus Metal beim
Entnehmen der Waeln benutzen,
sie können die Antihaftbeschichtung
beschädigen.
HINWEIS
Werden die Waeln nicht umgehend
entfernt, wenn der Backzyklus beendet
ist, wird alle 30 Sekunden ein akustisches
Signal ertönen.
9. Wenn Sie weitere Waen backen, dann einfach
mehr Teig auf die untere Waelplatte geben und
Schritte 7 und 8 befolgen.Falls der Zeitzyklus
erneut eingestellt werden muss, die RESTART-
Taste drücken.
A BIT MORE™ (NOCH EIN
BISSCHEN)
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie schnell und
bequem den Backzyklus noch ein wenig
verlängern. A BIT MORE™kann während des
Backzyklus benutzt werden oder sofort im
Anschluss, wenn der Backzyklus beendet
ist. In beiden Fällen wird proportional zu der
Gesamtbackzeit diese noch ein bisschen für die
gerade zubereitete Portion Waeln verlängert.

PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass vor dem Reinigen
die Drehtaste POWER / MENU auf der OFF-
Position ausgestellt ist und entfernen Sie dann
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Lassen Sie das Waeleisen vor der Reinigung
ein wenig abkühlen. Das Waeleisen ist leichter
zu reinigen, wenn es ein bisschen warm ist.
Das Waeleisen immer sofort nach jeder
Nutzung reinigen, um ein Verkrusten von
angebackenen Lebensmitteln zu vermeiden.
Backplatten und Auangumrandung mit
einem weichen Lappen abwischen, um
Lebensmittelrückstände zu entfernen.
PFOAFREIE
ANTIHAFTBESCHICHTUNG
Kochen, bzw. Backen mit Antihaftbeschichtung
minimiert den Ölbedarf, die Lebensmittel
haften nicht fest und es erleichtert das
Reinigen. Eventuell auftretende Verfärbung
beeinträchtigt nur das Erscheinungsbild und
nicht die Backleistung des Waeleisens. Beim
Reinigen der Antihaftbeschichtung keine
Metalschwämme oder andere scheuernden
Schwämme benutzen. Mit warmem
Seifenwasser waschen. Hartnäckige Überreste
mit einem nicht-scheuerndem Topfreiniger aus
Plastik oder mit einer Nylonbürste entfernen.
HINWEIS
Keine Koch, bzw. Backsprays mit Antihaft
benutzen; dies beeinträchtigt die Leistung
der Antihaftoberäche der Backplatten.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Für die Aufbewahrung des Waeleisens.
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Taste
POWER / MENU auf der OFF-Position für AUS
steht und ziehen Sie dann den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose.
2. Das Waeleisen vollständig abkühlen lassen.
3. Den Aufbewahrungsclip an der oberen Platte in
die Schließposition bringen.
4. Das Netzkabel auf die Vorrichtung unter dem
Waeleisen wickeln.
5. Auf acher, ebener und trockener Oberäche
aufbewahren.
