Voor u aan de slag gaat
•
Ditapparaatisergzwaar.Weesvoorzichtigwanneeruhettransporteert.
•
Til hetapparaat niet opaandebuizen of dedeurwanneer u hetverplaatst.
•
Ditapparaat moetverticaalopeen vlakke,effenondergrond staan.Om hetapparaat waterpas te
zetten, draait uaan devoetjestot het apparaat zo waterpas mogelijk staat.
Installeerhet apparaat niet opeen vloer mettapijt, omdat ditdeventilatiezou hinderen.
•
Hetapparaat mag niet inde buurt van warmtebronnen (kookvuur, radiator, enz.)of ineen on-
verwarmde ruimte (garage, tuinhuis, enz.) worden geplaatst, omdat de omgevingstemperatuur
deprestatiesvanhetapparaatbeïnvloedt.
•
Letopdatdeonderdelendiewarmkunnenwordennietkunnenwordenaangeraakt.Deachterkant
moet dustegen de muurstaan maar metde nodige afstand voor deventilatie. Voorzie300 mmvrije
ruimteaandeachterzijde vanapparaat,aanbeidezijkantenenaandebovenkant om een
goede ventilatie te verzekeren.

Volgonderstaandestartprocedurewanneer uhetapparaatopeengeschikteplaatshebtgeïnstalleerd:
•
Reiniggrondigdebinnenzijdeenalleaccessoires voor udestekkerinhetstopcontact steekt.
•
Laathetapparaat 2-3uurstaan, zodat het koelmiddelzich kanverspreiden nadeinstallatieen
reiniging.
•
Als hetapparaat horizontaal getransporteerd is,moet het12 uurverticaal staan voor hetwordt
geïnstalleerd.
•
Doedestekker inhetstopcontact wanneer hettoestel droog is. Controleer eerst of hetvoltage
van hetapparaat overeenkomt met dat van uw elektriciteitsnet.
•
Draaidethermostaat opdegewenstestand.
•
Wanneer udediepvriesvoordeeerstemaalgebruiktofwanneer uhem hebtontdooid,zet
dandethenmostaat minstens2uuropdemaximalestandvoor uvoedingswareninhetapparaat
legt.Zehemdaarnaopdenormalestand.

Detemperatuur inhetapparaat wordt ingesteldmetdethenmostaatknop. Degetallen

Tipsvoor hetgebruikvan hetapparaat
•
Laat gekooktevoedingswaren afkoelen tot kamertemperatuur voor uze inde koelkastlegt.
Legnooit heteofzelfswarmevoedingswaren indediepvries.
•
Overvulhet apparaat nietomeen correcte luchtcirculatietebehouden.Alserteveel voeding in
ligt,werkt decompressor minderefficiënt.
•
Open dedeur niet vaker dan nodig - zo blijftdetemperatuur binneninzo laagmogelijk.
•
Pakvoedingswaren goed inofdek zeafvoor uze inde koelkastlegt. Zorg eraltijd voor datde
verpakkingluchtdicht isen geschiktvoor gebruik ineen koelkast.
•
Succesvolinvriezenhangtafvaneencorrecteverpakking.Vooruvoedsel invriest,moetu
hetaltijd grondig afdekken met zilver- of plastic folie en het ineen plastic zakje of luchtdichte
container doen. Zo voorkomt u uitdroging van het voedsel en overdracht van geuren.
•
Aangekochte diepvriesvoeding moetzosnel mogelijk indediepvriesworden gelegdomte
vermijden dat ze ontdooit en bederft. Volg altijd deaanwijzingenvan defabrikant op de
verpakking van diepgevroren voedingswaren.
•
Ukaneengorgelend ofzoemend geluid horen terwijl het apparaat inwerking is. Ditisnormaal
wanneerdecompressor draaitenhetkoelmiddel doorhetsysteembeweegt.
•
Ukaneen klikkendgeluid horen. Dat komtvan dethermostaat enisnormaal.
•
Hetapparaatisontworpenomtewerkenineenomgevingstemperatuurtussen16en32°C.
•
Respecteerdebewaartijdenaanbevolendoordevoedingsfabrikantenencontroleeraltijdde
uiterste houdbaarheidsdatum.
Uw koelkast reinigen
Zetdetemperatuurcontroleop"Offentrekdestekkeruithetstopcontactvoorudekoelkastreinigt.
Gebruikeenschonesponsofzachtedoekeneenmildezeepinwarmwater. Gebruikgeenruweof
schurende schoonmaakmiddelen.
Gebruik geen reinigingswas, geconcentreerde reinigingsmiddelen, bleekmiddelen of schoonmaakmiddelen
metpetroleumopplasticenrubberenonderdelen.
Gebruik nooit papieren handdoeken, ruitensprays, schurende schoonmaakmiddelen of ontvlambare
vloeistoffen opplasticonderdelen,omdatzehettoestelkunnenkrassenofbeschadigen.
Wasalleoppervlakken metde hand,spoelafenwrijf grondig droog.
Vermijddaterwaterterechtkomt opdeelektrischeonderdelenvan hetapparaat (metnamedether-
mostaat)enlaatgeenwater overdekoelkastlopen.
Alsde koelkastlangetijd nietwordt gebruikt,reinighettoestel danzoals beschreven. Laatdedeur
openstaanomonaangenamegeurenbinnenintevermijden.
Ontdooien
Het koelkastgedeelte ontdooien:
•
Het ontdooienverloopt automatisch via de thermostaatknop. Het gesmolten ijsvloeit naar
deopvangbakenzalautomatischverdampen.
Dediepvriesontdooien:
•
Het ontdooien van de diepvriesgebeurt handmatig.
•
Trekdestekkeruithetstopcontact, opendedeur,neemallevoedingswarenuitdediepvries
enbewaar zeopeen koele plaats.Verwijder hetijs meteen plastickrabber oflaatdetem-
peratuur op natuurlijke wijzestijgentothet ijssmelt.Wrijf achtergebleven ijsenwater weg en
doe de stekker opnieuw inhet stopcontact

beverages must be stored upright in an airtight container
in the refrigerator.
Always keep any ventilation openings clear of obstruc-
tion. Should they become blocked, clear them straight
away.
Do not allow children to play, sit or hang onto any part of
the appliance.
Make sure that the plug is in an accessible place when
installation is complete. Remove all packaging. Only use
this appliancefor domestic purposes,for food refrigera-
tion,inaccordancewith these instructions.
This appliance is not intended for use bypersons (includ-

Getting started
Onceyou haveinstalledyourappliance inanappropriate location,followthestart upprocedure
below:

Beforeyouplugintheappliance,cleanthoroughly the insideandallaccessories.

Leave the appliance tostand for 2 - 3 hours to allow the refrigerant tosettlefollowing instal-
lation and cleaning.
•

Once dry,plug theappliance into the socket. Makesurethe voltage ofthis appliance isin

Turnthethermostat tothe required setting.

When using the freezer for the first timeor after defrosting,setthethermostat knobto the
maximum position for at least 2 hours before introducing food to bestored, and then adjust it
to the normai position.

You may heargurgling noisesorahummingsoundwhiletheappliance isinuseandthisis
perfectly normal when thecompressor isrunning andthecoolant ismovingthrough the
system.

Cluning your refrigerator

Defrostingrefrigeratorcompartment:

and will automaticallyevaporate.

•
Removethe mainsplugtromthewall socket,open thedoorand removeallthefoodto a
cool place. Defrost usingaplasticscraperorletthetemperature risenaturally untilthe frost
melts. Thenwipeawaytheremainingiceandwater, alterthis plugthe freezer backintothe
mains supply.

removethefrostorseparatethefrezenfood.
