stubborn wrinkles.

7. After using for about 25 seconds, place the iron back onto the power base until the pilot light turns “OFF”.
The Burst of Steam function can then be repeated.
Note: With conventional steam ironing, water may leak from the soleplate if a very low temperature has
been selected. If this happens, turn the temperature control dial to the advised position; steaming will
recommence as soon as the appropriate temperature has been reached.
DRY IRONING
The iron can be used as a dry iron even if there is water in the tank. Do not put water in the water tank when
the iron is to be used as a dry iron for a few hours at a time.
1. Adjust the temperature control dial to reflect the temperature indicated by the garment care instructions
and make sure the steam control button is in the “OFF” position. Insert the power cord into the wall

5. When the iron is no longer hot enough, return it to the power base for re-charging. Continue to do this
throughout the ironing process.

the iron upright, and wait until the soleplate has cooled down completely before packing away for
storage.
SPRAY FUNCTION
This function can be used any time and is useful for use on heavily creased clothes and thicker fabrics. It is not
dependent on the temperature of the iron.
1. Fill water into the iron up to the “MAX” level of water tank.
2. Aim the spray nozzle at the garment.
3. Press the Spray Button.

the soleplate.

Note: When using vertical or burst of steam function, always ensure that there is sufficient water in the
tank.Allow for at-least 3 second intervals before repeating the steam function.
SELF-CLEANING
The self-cleaning feature cleans the inside of the soleplate, removing impurities. We recommend that this
feature is used every 5-10 days. By pushing the self-cleaning button a strong steam will be injected from the
soleplate, thus the iron can be cleaned from the inside to avoid the vents of the soleplate becoming blocked.
1. Set the Steam Control Button to the “OFF”position (no steam)
2. Fill the water tank to the 2/3 mark.
3. Set the Temperature Control Dial to “MAX”and put the iron onto the power base, allowing the iron
to heat/charge for 2 minutes.
4. Remove the iron from the power base and press the Self-Cleaning Button. Steam and impurities will
be emitted from the soleplate.
5. When the tank is empty, place the iron back on the power base and let the iron heat up again for 1-2
minutes to evaporate any remaining water in the tank.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. After using, first unplug the unit and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
2. Empty out the remaining water. Hold the soleplate away from you while doing this incase it is still hot.
WARNING: The contents of the water tank may also still be hot.
3. Wipe the soleplate with a soft wet cloth and keep it level and smooth avoiding metal-friction.
4. Scrub incrustation off the spraying nozzle with a toothpick.
5. Wash the inside of the water tank frequently. First fill with water, and then sway it from side to side
finally pouring out the water through the water opening.
6. Don’t use strong acid or alkali products on the iron as this may damage the frame and produce a colour
change to the body of the unit.
