Introduction
This user guide will walk you through your Salusfin Gateway Lite set up.
Wi-Fi specifications
•Your Wi-Fi router must support the 802.11N standard to install
your Salusfin Gateway Lite
•WPA2-PSK should be used
•The Wi-Fi channel shall not be higher than 9
•2.4GHz wi-fi frequency
Powering up the Gateway Lite
Power up the gateway by connecting the power supply pin to the holder
and the Gateway Lite.
The power device set provided is shown below.

Upon powering, make sure the Gateway Lite flashes blue once to
indicate that the power is on.
Place the gateway in the middle of home or room to obtain maximum
coverage.
The wireless range is usually 30-100 meters, but may vary depending on
the building construction.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
Check your Wi-Fi settings for the list of Wi-Fi networks available as in
Picture 1 below.
The Gateway Lite will now be listed as NorthQ Gateway XXXX, where
XXXX are the last 4 digits of the Q-Stick serial number (found at the
bottom of the device).
Connect to the NorthQ Gateway network to configure it as shown in
Pictures 2 and 3.
It is possible that during the configuration a “No Internet access”
indication will appear, but this is normal procedure and there is no
reason to worry.
Picture 4 below is showing a successful connection to the Gateway Lite
from the computer.

Wi-Fi configuration
The Wi-Fi configuration is done through the web browser. The web page
as in Picture 5 should open as follows:
iOS and Windows Users
The setup page should appear automatically.
Otherwise, open a browser and enter the address http://192.168.0.1

Android Users
A notification should appear in a couple of seconds asking you to sign in
to the network. Click on the notification.
Otherwise, open a browser and enter the address http://192.168.0.1
Components installation
Select your router’s Wi-Fi network as shown in Pictures 6 and 7.
Type in your Wi-Fi network password in both fields (Picture 8) and press
“Save”. You will get an installation confirmation (Picture 9).
After the confirmation the network will disappear from the list of networks
and the device you are using will seek for your home network again.

Next navigate to Salusfin Control Manager in your browser by typing in
the address https://control.salusfin.com to continue installing
components (Pictures 10 and 11).
In case of problem
In case you experience difficulties please check the following steps:
If the gateway’s LED light is not lit at all, check that is placed correctly in
the holder.
If the gateway’s LED light is red,the network configuration has failed.
Start the configuration again by unplugging the Gateway Lite, press and
hold the button while connecting it back to power.
The LED will flash blue quickly for a while and when the LED light is dark
release the button. It should take a couple of seconds to turn dark after
pressing the button. When the LED is dark, you can proceed to the next
phase of configuration.
