Note to remember:
While in use, the sides of the refrigerator may get warm because of the presence of condenser pipes.
This is designed to reduce moisture condensation on the surface during high humidity. This will not
affect the performance of the refrigerator.

Use proper voltage
Do not use any extension cord or
double adapter.
Earth the refrigerator
Keep away from explosive gas.
Your refrigerator’srated voltage is indicated
ona lable put at the back of the cabinet.
To ensure safety of the refrigerator, it is
advisable to use a voltage stabilizer.
Ensure that your refrigerator is properly
earthed,even if it is a 3-pin type.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
DIAL At “Normal” POINT (5 No.)
To maintain optimum temperature for food
storage, set the c ontrol dial at the
“Normal” Position.
DIAL At “Coldest” POINT
When setting the control dial at the “Coldest”
Position, the refrigerator becomes coldest.
When Iarge quantities of food is stored, For
quick ice making set the control dial at the
“Coldest” position.
DIAL At “Cold” POINT
When setting the control dial at the “Cold”
Position, the refrigerator becomes warmer.
When small quantities of food is stored.
To save energy consumption, do not set the
refrigerator temperature lower than necessary.

HOW TO DEFROST
For most efficient operation of the refrigerator
with minimum electrical energy consumption,
defrost when ice/frost is formed on the walls
of the ice making compartment.
1) Check the layer thickness of the frost /ice
formed on the walls of the ice making com-
partment. lf more frost is formed, please
defrost.
2) Push the “DEF” button to defrost. Frost on
the surface of the evaporator will begin to
melt and can be easily removed.
3) In order to remove ice from the ice making
compartment, do not use a keen tool, knife
or screw driver.
4) After defrosting is finished, the refrigerator will
start automatically.

Caution
Frequent opening of door can cause excessive
frost in the unit that will reduce the cooling
momentarily; this is a general phenomenon
especially in coastal or high humidity area. lt is
not a malfunction. Opening of door should be
avoided while defrosting.
