1. Download MU-201S3E Auto Certificate Tool from
https://www.sanav.com/uploadfiles/122/Catalog-pdf/autocert.zip
, and unzip AutoCert.zip to a custom location on your computer.
2. Connect MU-201S3E to PC via the Micro USB 8P data cable.
(The Micro USB 8P data cable (AP cable) is an optional accessory you
can purchase for your MU-201S3E tracker.

3. Make sure that Prolific USB-to-Serial COM Port (COM could vary on
different PC) shows in Device Manager. If the PC fails to detect the
tracker via a data cable, please download the driver at the link below
and install it.

5. Log in to your Amazon AWS account and select "IAM" service:
If you haven’t register a AWS account, open:

user”:

actions only, which include (but not limited to) AWS IoT MQTT
actions such as publishing messages or subscribing to topics
with specific scope and context. The specific permission policies
can vary for your use cases. Identify the permission policies that

9. To skip the option to“Add tags”, select “Next: Review”
10.Confirm that the information entered on the “Review” page is correct
& click “Create user”:

12. Save the .csv file downloaded in the previous step to the AutoCert
folder. Execute the AutoCert.exe file：

13.After executing AutoCert.exe, the following screen will appear. Select
the Region1where the AWS user is located, enter the Thing name
(cannot be repeated with other devices), Topics, and select “1.Create
AWS IoT Elements.” After that, you can create a corresponding
certificate and policy in the AWS IoT service for your device.
1After logging as an AWS user, you can get the region from the left
menu -> Settings -> Custom endpoint：

14. Select the port used by MU201S3 in “Com Setting” and select
“2.Transfer Certificates”：(If you are not sure which COM it is, please
see Step3 to get the COM number from Device Manger.)
15.After completing Steps 13 & 14, select “Manage -> Thing” to review
the device name you just created by AutoCert.exe in the menu on the
left margin under AWS IoT service

16. To confirm whether the MU201S3 data has been uploaded,
subscribe to the Topic entered in Step 13 by going to “Test”item in
the menu on the left margin under AWS IoT:
