INSTALLATION

Location
When selecting a position for your unit you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the room
is well ventilated with an average room temperature of between 10°C and 43°C. Avoid locating your
unit near a heat source, e.g. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the
electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform
properly. This unit is not designed for use in a garage or outdoor installation. Do not drape the unit
with any covering.
When installing the unit, ensure that 100 mm of free space is left at both sides, 100 mm at the rear and
200 mm at the top of the unit.
Levelling the Unit
To ensure the unit is level, adjust the two levelling feet at the
front of the unit.
If the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seal will not align
properly.
Cleaning Before Use
Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda. Then rinse with warm water using
a ‘wrung-out’ sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves, drawers and salad
bins. Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.

• Before Plugging in YOU MUST
Check that you have a socket which is compatible with the plug supplied with the unit.
• Before Turning On!
Do not turn on until six hours after moving the unit. The coolant fluid needs time to settle.
Before Using Your Unit
Before placing any food in your unit, turn it on and wait for 24 hours, to make sure it is working
properly and to allow it time to fall to the correct temperature. Your unit should not be overfilled.
Interior Accessories
Various glass or plastic storage shelves are included with your appliance – different models have
different combinations.
You should always slide one of the full size glass storage shelves into the lowest set of guides, above
the fruit and vegetable containers, and keep it in this position. To do this, pull the storage shelf forward
until it can be swivelled upwards or downwards and remove.
Please do the same in reverse to insert the shelf at a different height.
In order to make the most of the volume of the fresh food storage compartment and frozen-food
storage compartment, the user can remove one or more shelves, or drawers, out of the appliance,
according to daily use.

Display and Control Panel
The control panel is located on the top edge of the fridge. Note that you must open the fridge door to see
the panel. Please see below for the details:
1. Stand-by Button
Switch On/Off the fridge storage
compartment.
2. Holiday Button
Operate at a relatively high temperature in
Holiday mode.
3. Super Cool Button
Lower the fridge temperature to the required
level.
4. Fridge Temperature Control Button
Decrease / increase the fridge storage
compartment temperature to between 2°C
and 8°C.
5. Fridge Storage Compartment Temperature
Display
• The set temperatures will show on the display after they have been set. The set temperature of the
fridge compartment will be displayed on the left hand side and the set temperature of the freezer
compartment will be displayed on the right hand side.
• It may take a few hours (approx. 5 hours) for the unit to reach the target temperatures. The time to
reach the set temperatures will vary depending on the temperature difference and the type and
amount of food stored in the compartments.
• The LED display will turn off automatically 1 minute after an operation is finished. It can be turned
on again by opening the door or pressing any key. (The alarm does not light up the display screen.)

Foldable Glass Shelf
Short food containers can be placed on the extended front panel
of the foldable glass shelf. The back panel can support taller food
containers.
To extend the shelf, simply push the upper part upwards, and pull
the lower part inward in the direction of the arrow shown in the
figure.
Wire Wine Holder
The wire wine holder can hold various sizes of bottles of wine. Pull
the wire down to open the wine holder. The maximum load of the
bottle holder is 10kg.
Fridge Storage Compartment
Salad Bin
• Sliding the humidity control button rightward enables the salad
bin to maintain a higher humidity suitable for cucumbers, grapes,
Chinese gooseberries, persimmons, etc.
• Sliding the humidity control button leftward enables the crisper
to maintain a lower humidity suitable for strawberries, oranges,
beans, garlic, watermelon, plums, tomatoes, etc.
Food Freshness Control Box
The temperature in this box is kept at approx. 0°C, it may slightly
change due to the different ambient temperature or refrigerator
working style. It is suitable for storing fresh fish, meat and cooked
food for 1~2 days.
Do not allow the wire wine rack/holder to snap down or up,
as this will risk damaging the attached glass shelf.

Operation
First Time Use
When the refrigerator is powered on for the first time, the power indicator and the fridge storage
compartment indicator will light up. The fridge storage temperature will be displayed as “-” and the
freezer storage temperature will be displayed as“- -” due to high temperature inside each compartment.
The buzzer will beep. Press the Alarm button to silence the buzzer. After the temperature decreases to a
certain level, the displayed temperatures of the fridge and the freezer storage compartments will return to
ex-factory settings 5°C and –18°C respectively.
Temperature Setting
• Setting the Fridge Temperature
1. Temperature range: 2°C to 8°C.
2. Press the Fridge Temperature Control button (on the left hand side of the LED display panel)
to adjust the temperature.
• Freezer Temperature Setting
1. Temperature range: –16°C to –24°C.
2. Press the Freezer Temperature Control button (on the right hand side of the LED display
panel) to adjust the temperature.
The setting will be automatically confirmed after 5 seconds or by pressing any button.
Super Cooling
• Press the Super Cooling button, the indicator will light up. This function will automatically deactivate
when the fridge storage temperature decreases to the required level.
If the temperature in the fridge storage compartment is too low, the super-cooling function may not
work. When you press the Super Cooling button once, the buzzer will beep and the Super Cooling
indicator will not blink.
If you are freezing large quantities of food in the freezer compartment, switch on super freezing 24
hours before the food is placed in the freezer compartment.
• Press the Super Cooling button again to deactivate.
Super Freezing
• Press the Super Freeze button and the indicator will illuminate. This function will automatically
deactivate after 56 hours.
• Press the Super Freeze button again to deactivate.

Alarm
• Door Opening Alarm
The buzzer will sound when the fridge door is left open for over 3 minutes and it will not stop until
the door is shut. If the fridge door is continuously open, the buzzer will sound every 30 seconds. Press
the Alarm button to stop the alarm. If the door is open for over 1 minute, the LED display will turn off.
Press any button to switch it on again. If the door is open for over 7 minutes, the internal light will turn
off automatically.
• Overheating Alarm
When the freezer temperature is higher than –5°C, the alarm indicator will illuminate solid and the
buzzer will beep once every second. Press the Alarm button to stop the alarm. Note that the alarm will
automatically stop when the temperature is below –5°C.
Setting Standby Mode for the Fridge Storage Compartment
Press and hold the Stand-by button for 3 seconds, the indicator and the fridge storage compartment
temperature will turn off. The freezer storage compartment will continue to operate normally.
Press and hold the Stand-by button for 3 seconds again, the fridge storage compartment will return to
normal operations.
Turning O Refrigeration
• Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The power indicator and the display panel will go off. The
refrigerator will stop operating.
• To restore this function, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
Fault Indication
• When the temperature shows E or F, it means this unit has a fault. Please call for technical service as
soon as possible. Note that the refrigeration function can still operate.
Noises Inside the Unit!
You may notice that your unit makes some unusual noises. Most of these are perfectly normal, but you
should be aware of them!
These noises are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. It has become more
pronounced since the introduction of CFC free gases. This is not a fault and will not affect the performance of
your unit. This is the compressor motor working, as it pumps the refrigerant around the system.
Please remove all fresh food in the refrigerator and close the door before activating this function.
Holiday Function
• Press the Holiday button to activate a high temperature in Holiday mode. The indicator will illuminate
and the fridge storage temperature display will show “–”.
• Press the Holiday button again, the indicator will switch off and the refrigerator will return to normal.
In Holiday refrigeration mode, the temperature is set to 17°C. The unit will return to the previous
temperature when Holiday mode is cancelled.
