SANYO author zed dealer n Canada are warranted
aga nst manufactur ng defects n mater als and
workmansh p for ONE YEAR from the date of
purchase by the or g nal reta l purchaser for
non-commerc al use. Th s Warranty only appl es n
favour of the or g nal reta l purchaser of the war-
ranted product.
SANYO CANADA INC.'S RESPONSIBILITY
Dur ng the warranty per od, SANYO Canada Inc. w ll
repa r, or at our opt on, replace a product wh ch
shows ev dence of a manufactur ng defect n
mater als or workmansh p. Replacement PARTS are
warranted for the rema n ng port on of the warranty
per od.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
(a) Products purchased outs de Canada.
(b) Products purchased n a used cond t on.
(c) Problems due to product set up and
nstallat on.
(d) Adjustments that are outl ned n the
Operat ng Manual.
(e) Accessory tems nclud ng antenna, batter es.
(f) Damage n or due to transportat on.
(g) Damage due to mproper ma ntenance,
mproper w r ng, acc dent, abuse, m suse or
negl gence.
(h) Damage caused by l ghtn ng and power
surges.
( ) The cost of removal and re nstallat on of a
product des gned for automob le use.
(j) The rubber seal of the water-proof d g tal
mov e camera.
ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER'S
RESPONSIBILITY
You, the or g nal reta l purchaser, must present your
or g nal, dated b ll of sale together w th th s
Warranty to SANYO Canada Inc. or to an author zed
SANYO Serv ce Depot when you make a cla m under
th s Warranty.
You, the or g nal reta l purchaser, are respons ble for
any costs of TRANSPORTING the product to and
from SANYO Canada Inc. or an author zed SANYO
Serv ce Depot. You also are respons ble for the cost
of any MAINTENANCE necessary n respect of the
product.
WARRANTY BECOMES VOID
Th s Warranty becomes vo d f the product's ser al
numbers are altered or removed or f any repa r to
the product s made other than by SANYO Canada
Inc. or by an author zed SANYO Serv ce Depot.
LIMITATIONS
(a) SANYO Canada Inc. reserves the r ght to
change or mprove the des gn of the model of
the product warranted hereunder w thout
ncurr ng any obl gat on to make any
mod f cat ons to or to nstall any
mprovement n or on the product.
(b) In no event shall SANYO Canada Inc. or any
of ts Author zed Dealers be l able for spec al
or consequent al damage ar s ng from the
use of th s product.
STATUTORY WARRANTIES
The above prov s ons do not preclude the operat on
of any appl cable prov nc al statute wh ch n certa n
c rcumstances may not allow some of the l m tat ons
and exclus ons descr bed n th s Warranty. Where
any terms of th s Warranty are proh b ted by such a
statute, they shall be deemed null and vo d but the
rema nder of th s Warranty shall rema n n effect.
