2 DG-1 SATEL
COM – common ground
12V – power upply input
2 – LED indicator. Indicate by blinking activation, trouble and alarm of the detector.
Depending on the detector type, the following LED color are u ed:
- red – DG-1 CO ( en or type TGS2442)
- green – DG-1 LPG ( en or type TGS2610)
- ellow – DG-1 ME ( en or type TGS2611)
- blue – DG-1 TCM ( en or type TGS832)
3 – buzzer. Indicate acou tically activation, trouble and alarm of the detector.
4 – ga en or.
5 – tamper contact. Opening of the hou ing i ignaled on TMP terminal .
6 – fixing crew hole.
7 – buzzer ON/OFF pin . Set the jumper to enable the audible ignal, remove the jumper to
di able it.
1. Alarm signaling
Depending on the detector type, the condition of alarm ignaling vary. They are de cribed in
Table 1. Additionally, the DG-1 LPG and DG-1 ME detector feature the prealarm function.

Table 1. Condition of alarm/prealarm ignaling by the detector .
Ga concentration reaching the dangerou level will trigger the alarm ignal (vi ual and
audible) and open the alarm relay. The alarm i ignaled by long ound and LED blinking,
eparated by long interval (1 econd LED blinking/ ound, 1 econd interval, etc.). The alarm
ignaling i on for the whole duration of dangerou ga concentration. Al o the relay will
remain open until the ga concentration drop below the alarm level. The gas sensor
reaction to a decrease in the dangerous gas concentration is dela ed, hence the alarm
signaling can stop even a few minutes after the gas concentration has dropped below
the alarm level.
The prealarm i ignaled by hort ound and LED fla he , eparated by long interval
(0.25 econd LED blinking/ ound, 1.75 econd interval, etc.). The ignaling continue a long
a the methane/propane-butane concentration i above the 10% lower explo ive limit, but
ju t below the 20% lower explo ive limit. The prealarm ha no effect on the alarm relay
tatu . The audible ignaling can be di abled by removal of the BUZ jumper.
2. Autodiagnostics
The detector i monitoring the upply voltage (voltage drop below 9 V (±5%) will trigger
a failure alarm) and te ting performance of the ga en or. Trouble are indicated by hort
ound ignal and LED fla he eparated by hort interval (0.25 econd LED
blinking/ ound, 0.25 econd interval, etc.). During a failure ituation the alarm relay contact
will open.
