Introduction
The gas detector from the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR package
accurately detects carbon monoxide (CO), natural gases such as: methane,
propane, butane, ethane and gaseous hydrocarbons such as: propylene and
butylene.
Note: The gas detector in the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR package does not
detect smoke, fire, or gases from other categories than those mentioned above.
The PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR package consists of a gas detector and
a 3/4 inch solenoid valve.

Gas detector installation instructions
If you use the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR gas detector to identify
natural gas or gaseous hydrocarbons, position it at a height of 0.3 - 1.0 m
from the ceiling, to a distance of max. 1.5 m of combustion source (stove, for
example).
If you use the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR gas detector to identify the
presence of carbon monoxide (CO), it is recommended to install a detector
in each room you live in (living room, bedrooms, etc.).
When choosing the detector installation location, make sure you can hear
the audible alarm. If you install a single CO detector in the house, install it as
close as possible to the bedroom and not in the room where the heating boiler
is installed.
Solenoid valve installation instructions
• The solenoid valve must be installed only by qualified personnel.
• The solenoid valve must be installed after the main internal gas valve.
• The solenoid valve must be installed in the direction of the gas flow,
marked on the solenoid valve. The valve must not be mounted face down.
The solenoid valve can be installed horizontally or vertically.
• The solenoid valve’s control wires must be connected correctly. The white
thread is positive and the black thread is negative. Making an incorrect
connection can lead to short circuit.
• Reverse polarity and incorrect voltage can damage the solenoid coil of
the solenoid valve.
• During maintenance work on the gas pipe, such as cleaning the pressure
pipe, the solenoid valve must be removed to avoid damage.
• During pressure tests, the solenoid valve must be opened.
• It is recommended to install the solenoid valve together with the gas
detector in the package.

Solenoid valve usage instructions
The solenoid valve can be operated for closing in two ways:
1. An electrical impulse of 1 second (9 - 12V)
2. By pressing the red button (you must first remove the plastic protective
cover).
After this operation, the solenoid valve remains closed.
Note: The protective cover must remain in place during the use of the solenoid
valve, because it has a protective role against accidental actuation.

Safety recommendations in case of alarm
• Immediately open the windows or doors.
• Do not turn on lights or any other electrical equipment.
• Do not use anything that could cause fire (lighter, matches).
• Call the national emergency number.
• If possible, leave the house or stay as close as possible to the windows or
open doors.
• After removing the hazard, call a specialist to identify the problem that
caused the alarm.
Note: Never ignore an alarm!
• To interrupt the alarm sound, you can unplug the detector or wait for its
automatic reset (after the concentration of the gas has decreased).
Carbon monoxide safety warnings
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless and tasteless gas, completely
undetectable to the human senses and very toxic. Carbon monoxide results
from incomplete combustion, in an oxygen-poor place, of fuels such as wood,
coal, oil, kerosene, propane, natural gas, etc.
Potential sources of CO can be: wood fuel stoves and fireplaces, gas stoves
and boilers, oil or coal stoves, closed garages, etc.
The health eects depend on the concentration of carbon monoxide and
the duration of exposure. The concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) is
measured in ppm (parts per million). For example, CO concentrations below
35ppm in an 8-hour exposure time do not cause any symptoms to a healthy
individual, while CO concentrations above 1600ppm can cause death in less
than one hour of exposure.
This CO detector works only if it is powered by a 230V power source.
This detector identifies carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations above
100ppm.

Ако използвате газовия детектор PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR, за
да идентифицирате природен газ или газообразни въглеводороди,
поставете го на височина 0,3 - 1,0 m от тавана, на разстояние от макс.

Ако използвате газовия детектор PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR,

• Контролните проводници на електромагнитния клапан трябва
да бъдат свързани правилно. Бялата нишка е положителна, а
черната - отрицателна. Неправилната връзка може да доведе до
късо съединение.
• Обратната полярност и неправилното напрежение могат да
повредят соленоидната намотка на соленоидния клапан.
• По време на поддръжката на газовата тръба, като почистване

Препоръки за безопасност в случай на аларма
• Веднага отворете прозорците или вратите.

Въглеродният оксид (CO) е газ без мирис, безцветен и без вкус,
напълно неоткриваем за човешките сетива и много токсичен.
Въглеродният окис е резултат от непълно изгаряне на място, бедно
на кислород, на горива като дърва, въглища, нефт, керосин, пропан,
природен газ и др.
Потенциални източници на CO могат да бъдат: печки и камини на
дървесни горива, газови печки и котли, печки на петрол или въглища,
затворени гаражи и др.
Ефектите върху здравето зависят от концентрацията на въглероден
окис и продължителността на експозицията. Концентрацията
на въглероден оксид (CO) се измерва в ppm (части на милион).
Например, концентрациите на CO под 35ppm за 8-часово време на
експозиция не причиняват никакви симптоми на здрав индивид,
докато концентрациите на CO над 1600ppm могат да причинят смърт
за по-малко от един час на експозиция.

Installationsanleitung für den Gasdetektor
Wenn Sie den PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250LR-Gasdetektor zur
Identifizierung von Erdgas oder gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoen verwenden,
positionieren Sie ihn in einer Höhe von 0,3 - 1,0 m von der Decke bis zu
einem Abstand von max. 1,5 m Verbrennungsquelle (z. B. Ofen).
WennSie den PNISafeHouseDual Gas 250LR-Gasdetektorverwenden,um
das Vorhandensein von Kohlenmonoxid (CO) festzustellen, wird empfohlen,
in jedem Raum, in dem Sie leben (Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer usw.), einen
Detektor zu installieren.
Stellen Sie bei der Auswahl des Installationsorts des Detektors sicher, dass
Sie den akustischen Alarm hören können. Wenn Sie einen einzelnen CO-
Detektor im Haus installieren, installieren Sie ihn so nahe wie möglich am
Schlafzimmer und nicht in dem Raum, in dem der Heizkessel installiert ist.
Installationsanweisungen für Magnetventile
• Das Magnetventil darf nur von qualifiziertem Personal installiert werden.
• Das Magnetventil muss nach dem internen Hauptgasventil installiert
werden.
• Das Magnetventil muss in Richtung des Gasstroms installiert werden,
der auf dem Magnetventil angegeben ist. Das Ventil darf nicht verdeckt
montiert werden. Das Magnetventil kann horizontal oder vertikal
eingebaut werden.
• Die Steuerkabel des Magnetventils müssen korrekt angeschlossen sein.
Der weiße Faden ist positiv und der schwarze Faden ist negativ. Eine
falsche Verbindung kann zu einem Kurzschluss führen.
• Verpolung und falsche Spannung können die Magnetspule des
Magnetventils beschädigen.
• Bei Wartungsarbeiten an der Gasleitung, z. B. beim Reinigen
der Druckleitung, muss das Magnetventil entfernt werden, um
Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
• Bei Druckprüfungen muss das Magnetventil geönet werden.
• Es wird empfohlen, das Magnetventil zusammen mit dem Gasdetektor in
der Verpackung zu installieren.

Gebrauchsanweisung für Magnetventile
Das Magnetventil kann auf zwei Arten zum Schließen betätigt werden:
1. Ein elektrischer Impuls von 1 Sekunde (9 - 12V)
2. Durch Drücken des roten Knopfes (Sie müssen zuerst die
Plastikschutzabdeckung entfernen).
Nach diesem Vorgang bleibt das Magnetventil geschlossen.
Hinweis: Die Schutzabdeckung muss während der Verwendung des Magnetventils
an Ort und Stelle bleiben, da sie eine Schutzfunktion gegen versehentliches
Betätigen hat.
Um das Magnetventil zu entriegeln und damit den Gasfluss zu ermöglichen,
ziehen Sie den roten Knopf senkrecht nach oben. Das Magnetventil bleibt
geönet.

Sicherheitsempfehlungen im Alarmfall
• Önen Sie sofort die Fenster oder Türen.
• Schalten Sie keine Lichter oder andere elektrische Geräte ein.
• Verwenden Sie nichts, was Feuer verursachen könnte (Feuerzeug,
Streichhölzer).
• Rufen Sie die nationale Notrufnummer an.
• Wenn möglich, verlassen Sie das Haus oder bleiben Sie so nah wie möglich
an den Fenstern oder oenen Türen.
• Rufen Sie nach dem Entfernen der Gefahr einen Spezialisten an, um das
Problem zu identifizieren, das den Alarm verursacht hat.
Hinweis: Ignorieren Sie niemals einen Alarm!
• Um den Alarmton zu unterbrechen, können Sie den Detektor vom

Kohlenmonoxid-Sicherheitswarnungen

sauerstoarmen Ort.
Mögliche CO-Quellen können sein: Holzöfen und Kamine, Gasöfen und
Kessel, Öl- oder Kohleöfen, geschlossene Garagen usw.
Die gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen hängen von der
Kohlenmonoxidkonzentration und der Expositionsdauer ab. Die
Konzentration von Kohlenmonoxid (CO) wird in ppm (parts per million)
gemessen. Beispielsweise verursachen CO-Konzentrationen unter 35 ppm
in einer Expositionszeit von 8 Stunden bei einem gesunden Menschen keine
Symptome, während CO-Konzentrationen über 1600 ppm in weniger als
einer Stunde Exposition zum Tod führen können.
Dieser CO-Detektor funktioniert nur, wenn er von einer 230-V-Stromquelle
gespeist wird. Dieser Detektor identifiziert Kohlenmonoxid (CO)
-Konzentrationen über 100 ppm.
