Safety Instructions
The main socket should be easily accessible. In the event of operational error,
the plug must be immediately removed from the socket. The power supply is
started up when the plug is inserted in the socket. To turn off the power supply,
the plug must be removed from the socket. Never pull at the cable. The power
supply contains dangerous voltages and the cover should not be removed. All
service or maintenance work should be carried out by qualifed personnel who
can get assistance by contacting the manufacturer’s agent. With visible damages
to the device do not use this any more.

The CE symbol documents compliance with the directives of the european union.
Protection insulation
This device has protection class II.
The power supply is double and high insulated.
Mounting
Use only in dry rooms. This product is only designed for indoor use and should not
come into contact with water or dust. To prevent overheating the power supply
should not be covered when it is in use. The ambient temperature must not
exceed 55 ° C. Only mount on a fire-proof area.
Disposal
Electronic equipment is not domestic waste - it must be disposed of properly in
accordance with directive 2002/96/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND
THE COUNCIL dated 27th January 2003 concerning used electrical and electronic
appliances. At the end of its service life, take this device for disposal at a designated

Installation

Please fix the mounting brackets with the nuts on the F-Jacks of the main body as shown on the picture
below (use the 2 F-Jacks which are closest to the LNB-Inputs). Connect the 4 cables coming from LNB
(VL/HL/VH/HH) and the optional terrestrial antenna to the related inputs of the multi- switch. If you are
using a Quattro-LNB please make sure the outputs of the LNB are connected to the correct inputs of the
multiswtich (VL to VL / HL to HL / VH to VH / HH to HH). If you are using
a switchable QUAD-LNB you can use any cable from LNB to any input of
multiswitch.
Extension to more outputs

You can upgrade the basic unit SATRIX iMS 58 G (8 subscriber outputs) with the extension unit
SATRIX iMS 54 E (4 subscriber outputs) or unit SATRIX iMS 58 E (8 subscriber outputs) up to a total
number of 48 subscribers. For the installation of one or several extension units please follow below
steps:
• Unplug the AC cable of the Unit SATRIX iMS 58 G power supply from the mains.
• Release the screws on the left and right side of the ABS power supply housing.
• Unplug the power supply from the main body of the multiswitch SATRIX iMS 58 G.
• Plug the extension unit (SATRIX iMS 54 E or iMS 58 E) direct to the power supply and fix the power
supply with the screws.
• Plug the original main unit SATRIX iMS 58 G to the extension unit (SATRIX iMS 54 E or iMS 58 E)
and fix the units with the supplied screws.
• Make sure that no matter how many extension units are installed so that the first unit
• closest to LNB is the original main unit SATRIX iMS 58 G.

Important Notice:

The basic unit SATRIX iMS 58 G is equipped with an integrated terrestrial amplifier, which has
enough gain to supply a quality signal to the extension units. For this reason, it is necessary to
install the basic unit SATRIX iMS 58 G always as the first unit closest to the LNB and the extension
units between the basic unit and the power supply, otherwise the function can be affected.
