Read all instructions carefully before installation including instructions packaged
separately with the sauna heater. Please leave all instructions and warranty with the
owner.
WARNING: When using electrical sauna heaters and associated sauna products, basic
precautions must be followed, including the following:
1. Grounding is required.
2. No electrical receptacle shall be installed in the sauna room.
3. Be sure rocks are placed in the heater according to the instructions on page 9 of this
manual.
4. Do not tamper with the door or install a latching or locking system. Malfunction of
which may cause entrapment inside the heated room.
5. Do not block ventilation openings. Vents must be kept free of obstruction so proper
airflow is maintained in the sauna room. Do not stack anything in front of the vents.
WARNING: Prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures is capable of inducing
hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches several
degrees above the normal body temperature of 98.6°F. The symptoms of hyperthermia include
an increase in the normal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting.
The effects of the hyperthermia include failure to perceive heat, failure to recognize the need to
exit the room, unawareness of impending hazard, fetal damage in pregnant women, physical
inability to exit the room and unconsciousness.
WARNING: The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication is capable of greatly increasing the risk
of fatal hyperthermia.
CAUTION FIRE HAZARD: Do not use the sauna room for drying clothes, bathing suits,
etc. Do not hang towels above the heater or place any object, other than the rocks supplied, in the
heater. If any darkening of the wall around the heater is noticed, discontinue sauna use
immediately.

ROOM ASSEMBLY
Each panel is heavy. Be careful to avoid injury when installing, especially the top panel.
Two adults are required for the installation of sauna room.
There is a pin or a slot on the sides of each panel, which will be installed correspondently with
one pin to one slot in the following way when installing:
oThe panel with pin should be lifted up about 1 inches (2 cm) higher than the panel with
the slot (Refer to Picture 1).
oPlace the panel with the pin against the panel with the slot (Refer to Picture 2),and then
slide the panel with the pin down until the two panels are equal in height (Refer to Picture
3).
oIf they are not equal in height or there is an obvious gap between the two panels, that
means they are not properly attached, and you should try again.

INSTALLATION OF SAUNA ROOM
1. Place the floor panel in the desired location on a level surface (Note: The floor panel must be level
before installing wall and ceiling panels. If the surface is not level you may need to shim the bottom
panel to get it level.)
The base is numbered to cooraspond with the panels for correct locations. The right wall is labeled # 1,
the back right panel is labeled #2 and etc…(See picture below)
2. Place the right wall panel on the outer edge of the floor panel.
3. Place the right back

4. Place and latch the left side back wall panel to right back wall panel.

5. Place and latch the left side panel to the left back wall
panel.
6. Place and latch left right front wall to left side wall.
7. Place and latch the door panel to the left front wall panel.

8. Place and latch the right front wall panel to the door panel and to the
right wall panel.
9. Install the left, center and right support beams from the back of
the room through the front wall.
Note the notches in the beams to fit to the walls.
10. Drill screws into side beams.

11. Drill the screws at an angle through the front and back walls into
the center beam.
12. Place the right ceiling panel on the room and be sure to
ensure the trim inside the room is fitting on the wall. Be
careful to push the wires from the front and back walls
into the ceiling openings.
13. Connect the electrical connectors and in put in the ceiling
holes and reinstall the electrical access cover.
NOTE: Double check all electrical connections! Once the
roofing is installed, electrical access is minimal.

14. Partially install the left ceiling panel on the room.
Place a piece of packing between the bottom of
ceiling and the top of the wall panel close to the peak.
This will allow the panels to have space between the
peaks. Connect the wire harnesses between the right
ceiling and left ceiling peaks. Once the wires are
connected insert them in the right ceiling hole and
lower the ceiling down on the walls.
Note: Ensure the ceiling panels are pushed to the peak
before installing screws.
15. See predrilled holes in ceil. Secure the
ceiling to walls with screws.

Electrical Installation
16. Mount the CB PK -1 box on back wall. Location is
designed by a small trim on wall.
17. Refer to the Installation and Operation Manual
provided with the sauna heater for detailed
information about wire connections.
18. Connect the low voltage cables from the wall into the
CB PK-1 box.
19. Installation of power wire cord into the room. Drill a
hole in the back wall to the left of the wires coming
out of the back wall.
Note: Be sure to be below the contactor box location and
away from the low voltage cables.
20. Install heater according to the Installation and
Operation Manual provided with the heater.
21. Power up the CB PK-1 box and test all lighting and sensors.
Note: Electrical access will be greatly reduced after the roofing is installed on room. Please ensure all
connections are good!
Roofing Installation
22. Install the roofing felt on the ceiling to prevent moisture on the wood. Put first sheet on at the lower
part of each ceiling panel. Overlap the paper over the peak and over each side piece to ensure
moisture does not get under the paper.
23. Secure it with staples or
two-face tape.

24. Install roofing, starting from back of the room. The back edge of the first panel should be flush with
the back edge of the ceiling panel. Install the roof panel to have a minimum of 1” and a maximum of
2” overhang at the bottom of the panel along the fascia.
25. Secure the back roof panel with two screws. Do not overtighten the screw
as it will deform plastic ridge.
Note: Outer edges of the roof panels are secured by the fascia and ridge cap.
26. Overlap 1 ridge of the middle panel on the back panel and install the screws.
27. Overlap two ridges of the front panel over
the middle panel. Front panel should be flush
with the front edge of the ceiling. Install the
remaining screws.
28. Repeat the process on other side of ceiling

29. Install roofing, starting from back of the room. The back edge of the
first panel should be 1 ¾” of an inch from the back edge of the ceiling
panel. Install the roof panel to have a minimum of 1” and a maximum
of 2” overhang at the bottom of the panel along the fascia.
30. Secure the back roof panel with two screws. Do not overtighten the screw, as it will deform plastic
ridge.
Note: Outer edges of the roof panels are secured by the fascia and ridge cap.
31. Overlap one ridge of the middle
panel on the back panel and install
the screws.
32. Overlap one ridge of the front
panel on the middle panel and
install the screws.
33. Front panel should be 1 ½” from
the front edge of the ceiling.
Install the remaining screws.
34. Repeat the process on other side of ceiling
Minimum of 1”overhang.
Overlap 1 ridge

35. Install the both pieces of front fascia. Make sure the
peak of each fascia meets at the very top of the room.
Install the fascia with a 90°front first so it will be
overlapped to keep moisture from getting under the
roofing. Drill hardware through fascia and roofing.
36. Install back fascia and repeat the process as front fascia. See fascia / ridge cap hardware below.
37. Install ridge cap and secure with hardware.
38. Insert foam under the roofing edge to prevent insects
from getting under the roofing.
Note: Roofing screws may need to be loosened to get foam
between roofing and ceiling.
39. Install round covers over screws on roofing.

40. Secure walls to base of room with
screws.

41. Install lower bench in the room after
electrical wiring is completed.
42. Install upper bench in the room.
43. Install the backrest to the back wall with
screws.

44. Install lower bench in the room after electrical wiring is
completed.
45. Install support member under the upper bench with
screws on the left side of bench.
46. Install the upper bench in the room.
47. Install the return bench in the room between the front wall and
the upper bench.
48. Install two screws under the return bench to the main bench.
49. Install the backrest to the back wall with screws.

SAUNALOGIC CONTROL OPERATION
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIGHTING
Press “Light bulb inside a square” to
switch on or off the interior lights.
Press “Light bulb outside a square” to
switch on or off the exterior lights.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAUNA HEATER
Default settings for temperature are preset to 176°F, the bath time is set to 60 minutes and 0 minute delay
to start to heat. These settings are adjustable (as described below) from 125°F to 194°F. Length of sauna
can be set from 0 to 60 minutes. The time delay before start can be up to 23 hour and 59 minutes. Any
changes are remembered by the heater for your next bath. Should the heater power be lost then restored,
the settings will return to their default values. If the heater does not start heating, refer to the Pre-Set
Delayed Start section below.
STARTING SAUNA HEATER IMMEDIATELY
Press the control POWER button once. The room temperature will be displayed on the control. The
heater will turn on and begin heating the room to current set points. Once the set temperature is reached
inside the room, the heater will turn heater on and off again as needed to maintain the desired
temperature. At the end of the selected time (60 minutes maximum), the control will turn itself off and
the control display will turn off.
SETTING THE TIME AND TEMPERATURE
To set the sauna length time, press the control POWER button to turn on the heater. Press the “"+" or "-"
buttons on the left side of control to increase or decrease time for desired setting. The maximum of time is
60 minutes.
To set the temperature, press the control POWER button to turn on the heater. Press the TEMP "+" or "-"
buttons on the right side control to increase or decrease temperature for desired setting. The maximum
temperature is 194°F (90°C).
Note: Typical sauna bathing set-point temperature is 150°F to 165°F on the control.
PRE-SET DELAYED START
With the electricity applied to the CB PK-1 box, press the control POWER button once. The room
temperature will be displayed on the control. Press the “clock” button. Press the "+" or "-" buttons on the
left side of the control to increase or decrease delay time for desired setting. The maximum of time is 23
hours and 59 minutes. If no delay start is desired, set to 00:00 and press “clock” button.
Note: The LED light above clock will glow when system is in the delayed start mode and the “:” will
flash in the time section.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Room Instructions for Cleaning:
Perspiration and dirt may absorb into the wood, so periodic cleaning is needed. Scrubbing the benches
and floorboards with a stiff brush and mild detergent is normally sufficient. Light sanding is another
option.
Exterior Maintenance:
The exterior should be painted/stained as any outside building.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Error Codes on controls
Sn = Means the sensor is not connected to the CB PK-1 box. Check the connections between sensor and
box
HL = Means the High Limit switch in sauna heater is not connected to the CB PK-1 box. Check the
connections between heater and box.
