CHARGING PORT
To charge the CAMERA, plug the USB cable
into the USB port.
e status light, if you have it uncovered, will
glow green while charging. Please charge for
several hours before rst use.
You CAN charge the camera and the POWER
SUPPLY at the same time.

Setting Time Stamp
Go to the Product Page for your device on
SafetyBasement.com and locate the red
TECH SUPPORT tab, as shown in this
example.
You will nd the latest manual here, along
with any les you may need.
Right-click on the TIME le, and choose
SAVE LINK AS, or SAVE TARGET AS...
Save the le to your watch, as shown in this
example.
Your Drive Letter may vary.
Do NOT save the Time le inside the
DCIM folder.

Now that the writetime_ch.exe le is saved on your device, Double-Click the le.
is should automatically sync your computer time to the device.
Turn on your device and use your remote and press A to turn unit to STANDBY mode. is
should sunc your device time. You are now ready to start recording video with the correct
time stamp.

To use the device as a POWER SUPPLY;
• Plug the needed USB cable into the port shown above. Please use that the charging
cable that you normally use. is cable does not come with this device. For example if
you have an iPhone 5, use the charging cable for that phone and plug the USB part to
this device and the other end to your iPhone 5.
• en turn on your mobile recorder/charger (ON/OFF buton) so that the single blue
light is ON.
• Press the A button on your remote. You should now see that your phone is charging.
• When your mobile phone is fully charged, unplug and turn o your device by
pressing the ON/OFF button. e blue light should turn o at this point.

USING AS A COVERT CAMERA
1. Begin by turning unit on by pressing the ON/OFF button (using ngers)
2. e blue light will turn on
3. Using your remote press and release the A button (Refer to diagram on this page). is will cause
the red and blue lights to blink for a few seconds then return to steady BLUE. Your unit is now in
STANDBY MODE
4. Now press the C button and release. e blue light will blink a few times and turn o. You are
now covertly recording video
5. To stop video recording press and release the C button again. Unit will return to steady blue
which is back to STANDBY mode
6. Repeat as necessary

NIGHT VISION
You can turn on night vision (manually).
Follow instructions below:
1. Aer turning unit to STANDBY PO-
SITION, manually press the 50% button
and release. Blue light will blink briey
and return to standby mode. You are now
in NIGHT VISION STANDBY
2. Continue with normal video recording

3. To turn o night vision, manually press
and release the 50% button again. You
should now be out of night vision mode
and back to regular recording mode.

AUDIO ONLY RECORDING
is unit allows you to record audio only. Follow instructions below:
1. Begin by getting unit to standby position
a. Manually press On/OFF button
b. On remote press A button (redand blue light will blink briey and retun to steady blue)
2. Press the D button. Red and Blue light will blink for a few seconds and turn o. You are now
recording audio only
3. To stop audio recording press and release D button again. Recording will be saved and the
STEADY BLUE light will return
4. Repeat as necessary.

TAKING PICTURES

1. Begin by getting unit to standby position
a. Manually press On/OFF button
b. On remote press A button (red and blue light will blink briey and retun to steady blue)
2. Press the B button. Blue light will go o for a few seconds then return to steady blue. You just
took a picture
3. Repeat as necessary.

WHERE ARE MY FILES?
Your les are located inside the DCIM
folder, and then inside additional
organized folders.
You should COPY these les to your
PC for archiving and best playback.
en, delete the les to make room for
more.
NOTE TO MAC USERS! When
deleting les, you MUST empty your
trash BEFORE you Eject the watch
from your Mac.
To retreive your les:
• Turn o your device (if it is ON)
• Insert the USB cable into the USB port on the device and the other end to computer
port. Do not use a hub.
• In a moment, your PC will connect to your device.
