GPS HEAD UP DISPLAY

PLEASE READ BEFORE FIRST USE
This system has been designed for simple DIY installation and
can be installed into any vehicle with a 12V electrical system, by
plugging into the vehicles accessory sockets. This Head Up
Display (HUD) uses GPS signals to calculate the vehicle speed,
therefore it WILL NOT WORK inside buildings, underground car
parks or tunnels where a GPS signal is unavailable. Please
select a suitable location on your dashboard for installation that
offers a CLEAR LINE OF SIGHT to open sky in front and slightly
above the unit's location (i.e. on a dashboard with a sloping
windscreen). When the HUD does not have a satellite signal fix,
the LED signal indicator will flash red. Once it receives the
satellite signal fix it will illuminate to green.
GPS signals fluctuate in strength. As this device operates it
maintains connection to only the strongest signals available
and may momentarily drop a weakening signal in favour of a
stronger one. These changes happen automatically as
controlled by the unit's processor. This may affect the
displayed speed by not being 100% accurate or taking slightly
longer to display current speed. Situations that may affect the
accuracy of this HUD include:
Upon first use this HUD will take up to 1 minute to locate and
lock onto its required satellite signals, or after any extended
period of not using (approximately longer than a week). If used
frequently, the HUD will only take up to 30 seconds to acquire
operational signals.

• Cloudy and overcast conditions
• Heavy rain / snow
• Driving amongst high rise buildings / dense city areas
• Operating HUD within areas of strong electrical interference
(such as telecommunication towers / airports etc).
Vehicle type and wheel sizes can also cause variations in the
display speed vs the vehicle speedometer. This unit has a
speed deviation setting that enables you to adjust the speed on
the HUD to align with the speed on the vehicle speedometer to
help counteract these variations.

SETUP AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Ensure dash surface and inside the windscreen are clean and
free from any residue before installation. This includes plastic
and upholstery "protectants", as these may react with the
supplied sticky pad. PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING
CHEMICALS ON THE HUD UNIT. If cleaning is required use a
soft microfiber style cloth to wipe clean.
• Place the anti-slip mounting pad on the clean section of your
dash ensuring the dimples are facing upwards.
• Ensure cable is routed safely so there are no obstructions to
operating the vehicle.
• Plug unit into accessory socket and press the power on
button, ensuring the vehicle is outside and not under cover.
• Stick the transparent film onto a suitable position on the
windscreen so the HUD image is projected onto this film,
enabling a clear forward view of the speed display from the
driver's seat position. (See page 9 for more detailed instructions).
• The transparent film serves 2 purposes; reflecting a sharp,
white LED image that isn't effected by the windscreen
lamination. It also prevents the white LED light shining
forward through your windscreen. For best results please
ensure the transparent film is installed prior to operating the
vehicle.
• If you wish to see the HUD display directly face the display
towards you and reverse the speed display in the settings.
• When connecting to power for the first time the satellite icon
will flash red. Once the GPS signal is found it will turn solid
green ready to use. This can take between 30 seconds to 1
minute.

POSITIONING THE REFLECTION FILM
The HUD projects dashboard information on the vehicles front
windscreen. Due to most vehicles windscreen being double
layered, this may cause the user to see a double or blurred
image. Therefore the reflection film is recommended for use.
Firstly, put the non-slip mat on the dashboard, and then put
HUD on it. With the HUD turned on, place the reflection film in
the best position above the HUD.
INSTALLING THE REFLECTION FILM
1. Spray some water on the place that the film will be placed
on, and then use a dry cloth to clean it.
2. Take off the back side(marked 1) of the reflection film, then
stick it to the windscreen glass.
3. After you have adjusted the location, you can use a scratch
board or something flat to slick the film and squeeze the excess
water and or air bubbles out.
4. Take off the protection film (marked 2) of the reflection film
and now you are ready to use.

see if it powers up (or use a test light / multimeter to check for
power).
• HUD Power Cable - Check the fuse in the tip of the accessory
plug, it may need to be replaced.
Problem: Inaccurate Speed
Solution: • Check the speed unit first, to see it is KM or MPH
• When HUD is power on,vertical press the wave button 5
seconds to enter into the menu options, here menu options
shows 0,parameter shows 107,up or down the wave button to
increase or decrease the value according to the difference until

seconds to save it.
Problem: Cannot see display clearly in sunlight conditions
Solution: • Check the brightness in the settings menu, refer to
