- Read and follow all the instructions before assembling your Barrel Sauna.
- The assembly must be done by two people at minimum.
- Avoid using force as to not strip the wood.
- The installation ground must be level, dry and clean.
- Keep this document for any future questions or issues.
- You will need the below tools:
- Rubber mallet
- Drill
- Level
- Adjustable wrench
- Locking pliers
Congratulations on purchasing one of the nest home sauna units available. We appreciate your order
and hope you enjoy your sauna. Follow this guide to assemble your sauna correctly and for instructions
on how to use the various components.

Recommendations after assembly:
- Try to minimize moving the Barrel Sauna after assembly.
- Do not operate the Barrel Sauna under the inuence of alcohol or any mind altering substance.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times inside the sauna.
- Do not touch the sauna heater.
- Do not turn on the heater until the sauna is assembled.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended number of people inside the sauna.
- Before maintenance or cleaning ensure the sauna heater is o.
- Use Scandia Sauna Oil to protect surfaces from wear and tear.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, ammable products, steel wool, or any other cleaner that compromises the integrity of
the wood. Scandia Manufacturing recommends a combination of 4 parts water to 1 part apple cider vinegar as a
cleaning product.
- Do not spray down the sauna with a hose or power washer.
- Do not stand or jump on the benches.
- Do not sit on benches before assembly is complete.

WARNING! Electrical Hazard
- Every electrical adjustment done during the installation has to be done by a certied
electrician. Improper manipulation of AC power could cause damage to your electrical
installation and will cause very serious injuries to an unexperienced installer.
- Before starting the installation, make sure you have 220v single phase available and a
NEMA 10--30R wall plug, the electrical wiring has to be done with a wire gauged between
10 AWG – 4 AWG and properly grounded.
- Do not modify the electric or gas heater, the J-Box, the wiring, or any part of the electrical
installation.

Step 2
Please choose beforehand which end will be your
entrance. With the help of another person place
the base in the location you desire.
Step 3
Take the Central Back Panel and place it on the designa-
ted groove to the back end. Wedge the wood dowel
into the circular slot at the groove base.
Use the rubber mallet gently to tap the top of the door
frame, so everything is wedged in the correct place. You
can also use the rubber mallet to adjust any point you
feel necessary and use a Level to verify that everything
is centered and leveled.
Step 1
Although the Barrel Sauna is an outdoor product, the
assembly must be carried out on a clean, smooth, and
dry surface such as a deck or concrete oor and not
directly on the grass, sand, dirt, or snow. Make sure
that you have access to a 220-volt electrical power
source. If you wish, you can also assemble it indoors.
After choosing the ideal surface, place the base.
Use the rubber mallet and gently hit the top of the door
frame, so everything is wedged in the correct place. You
can also use the rubber mallet to adjust any point you
feel necessary and use a Level to verify that everything is
centered and leveled.
Step 4
Take the Door Frame and rmly hold the door so it
does not move. Place the door frame on the designated
Groove on the front end. Wedge the Wood Dowel into
the Circular Slot at the Groove base.
Step 5
Put two staves on the top of the door frame and the
central back panel. Do not screw the top staves in this
step. With the rubber mallet hit the edges close to the
staves just above the door frame and central back
panel to create stability.

Step 6
Place the Back Right Panel on the right side of the
Central Back Panel. Slowly and carefully, lean the
panel (diagonally) and insert it starting from the
bottom. Work your way up the groove until both
sides are connected. Make sure the bench brackets
are facing the inside of the sauna.
Step 7
Place the Back Left Panel on the left side of the Central
Back Panel. Slowly and carefully, lean the panel
(diagonally) and insert it starting from the bottom.
Work your way up the groove until both sides are
connected. Please make sure the bench bracket and
the Relay Box face the inside of the sauna.
Step 8
Fasten both segments to the middle section of the
back wall. You'll need two 2 ½" screws.

Step 10
Place the Front Left Panel on the left side of the door
frame. Slowly and carefully, tilt the panel (diagonally)
and insert it starting from the bottom. Work your way
up the groove until both sides are connected. Make
sure the Smart Sauna Wi-Fi Controller faces the outside
of the sauna.
Step 9
Place the Front Right Panel on the right side of the
Door Frame. Slowly and carefully, lean the panel
(diagonally) and insert it starting from the bottom.
Work your way up the groove until both sides are
connected. Please make sure the bench bracket is
facing the inside of the sauna.

Step 12
Place the oor diagonally; this has to be ushed with
the door as you gently lower it while adjusting in
place. With a level, make sure that it has been placed
evenly.
Step 13
Locate the bench that has cables on one side only.
Carefully set the bench in place, ensure the cables
end up near the door, and connect the cables.
Step 14
Locate the CAT6 cable (the single cable) on the second
bench. Carefully set the bench, so the CAT6 cable is
facing the Back Panel of the sauna. Connect all the
cables on both sides of the bench.

Step 18
Carefully unroll the metal strap. Remove the nut and
the washer from the bolt that is not fastened to the
metal strap. Place the metal strap around the sauna
where the screws have been placed.
At this point, the metal strap should be wrapping the
whole sauna. Place the bolt in the hole located at the
tip of the metal strap. Place the washer and the nut
on the bolt and fasten them. Make sure you don't
over-tighten the bolt. Tap the Staves with a rubber
mallet until the sauna forms a well-shaped circle.
Adjust the metal strap using locking pliers and an
adjustable wrench. Repeat this process with the
second metal strap.
17.1: Before nishing, place the nal left, right, and
center Stave and adjust them using a rubber mallet.
You should have completed the circumference of the
barrel at the end of this step.
Step 15
One by one, place and screw 15 Staves to both sides
of the sauna. Please make sure there are no gaps
between the Staves by tapping them rmly into place.
You'll need 30 screws of 2 1/2" per side.
Step 16
Screw the Bench Leg to the center of the Bench.
16.1: Repeat this process with the other bench.
Step 17
Continue placing the staves on both sides without
screwing them until you reach the top of the Barrel
Sauna.

Step 19
Use the rubber mallet to adjust the staves. Using the
rubber mallet, adjust the Staves on the outer and inner
sides of the barrel until you achieve a perfect circle.
Step 20
Identify the RGB cable located in the ceiling panel. Make
sure the cables face the door, and the LED panels face
upwards. With the help of another person, place the panel
at a 45 degree angle and lean it against the side where
the door is located. Then carefully lift the other side (make
sure the cable is hanging). Use the Staves as a guide to
level the panel, ensuring that this is as straight as possible.
Drive the rst screw for the LED panel on the area closest
to the door, then drive the screws that go on the back end
of the panel. Drive the rest of the screws and ensure the
panel does not move. You'll need six 1 1/4" screws.
Step 20.1
Connect the LED ceiling cable from the panel to the door
frame cable (the closest cable).
Step 21
Connect all RGB cables on the internal front panel.
Step 23
Screw together the guard rail pieces as shown below.
You'll need six 1 1/4" screws.

Set the interior and exterior vent covers in place.

Step 25
Carefully slide the Guard Rail over the Electric Heater.
Locate the pre-made holes, and with the help of a drill,
screw the guard rail in place. You'll need six 1 1/4" screws.
Step 24
Screw the Electric Heater in place, ensuring it is 12" from
the oor. Please make sure the heater's centered between
both benches.
Step 26 Control Relay Box
Connect the NEMA Cable to the Control Relay Box.

electrician.
Materials required for the installation:

and the top icon starts its animation; the heater will
be turned on.
