Entfernen Sie die rückwärtige Abdeckung
des Patchpanels und legen Sie das Panel auf
eine stabile Unterlage. /
Remove the rear cover from the patch panel
and place the panel on a sturdy surface.
Ordnen Sie die Kabeln entsprechend den
Anschlussblöcken an. Belassen Sie eine Über-
länge für die Kontaktierung von mindestens
5-10 cm. /
Align the cables with their respective IDC
connecting blocks in order of termination.
Provide extra cable length for termination – at
least 5-10 cm. (2-4 inches).
Öffnen Sie die Schraube des Schirmbügels
um das Kabel einfädeln zu können. /
Loosen or remove the screw holding the
ground clip so that the cable can be inserted
through the ground clip.
Manteln Sie das Kabel ca. 8 cm ab. Ver-
sichern Sie sich, dass der Folien- und/oder der
Geflechtschirm unversehrt sind. /
Strip approximately 8 cm (3 in.) of the jacket
from the cable. Be sure that the foil and/or
braid remains intact.
Für Kabel mit Folienschirm:
Schlagen Sie die Folie über den Mantel
zurück. /
For cable with foil but no braid:
Fold the foil shield back over the jacket of the
cable.
Für Kabel mit Folienschirm:
Wickeln Sie den Beidraht rund um den
Folienschirm. Die Wickelung muss innerhalb
von 1,3 cm vom Mantelanfang erfolgen. /
For cable with foil but no braid:
Wrap the drain wire around the foil shield.
Do not wrap the drain wire more than 1,3 cm
(0,5 in.) from the fold in the foil shield.
Für Kabel mit Folienschirm:
Fädeln Sie das Kabel durch den Schirmbügel. /
For cable with foil but no braid:
Insert the cable through the ground clip as
shown.
Für Kabel mit Folien- und Geflechtschirm:
Schieben Sie das Geflecht über den Kabel-
mantel zurück. /
For braided cables:
Push the braid back over the jacket of the
cable.
Für Kabel mit Folien- und Geflechtschirm:
Schieben Sie das Geflecht über den Kabel-
mantel zurück. Bei vorhandenem Beidraht,
wickeln Sie diesen nahe des Mantelanfangs
mindestens 3 mal über das Geflecht. /
For braided cables:
Slide the braid back over the cable jacket
and-if there is a drain wire wrap it around the
braid close to the fold at least 3 times.

Für Kabel mit Folien- und Geflechtschirm:
Wickeln Sie den Folienschirm ab. Schneiden
Sie die Folie beim Mantel ab. /
For braided cables:
Unwrap the foil that extends beyond the
jacket from each pair and cut it off.
Für Kabel mit Folien- und Geflechtschirm:
Fädeln Sie das Kabel durch den Schirmbügel. /
For braided cables:
Insert the cable through the ground clip as
shown.
Anstatt den Beidraht über den Schirm zu
wickeln, kann der Beidraht in den neunten
Anschluss (der Anschluss ohne Farbcode) der
IDC Anschlussleiste kontaktiert werden. /
Instead of wrapping the drain wire around
the foil shield, the drain wire may be inserted
into the ninth slot (the slot with no color
code) on the IDC connecting block as shown.
Fixieren Sie das Kabel mit Kabelbindern an
der Zugentlastung. Entfernen Sie die Über-
längen der Kabelbinder. /
Fasten the cable to the strain relief tabs with
cable ties and trim off the excess cable tie.
Fixieren Sie die Schraube des Schirmbügels. /
Tighten the ground clip screw until it reaches
the bottom. Ensure that the foil is in contact
with the ground clip.
Legen Sie die Drähte entsprechend dem
Farb-code in den entsprechenden Anschluss
der IDC Anschlussleiste ein. Kontaktieren Sie
die Drähte mit dem Anschlusswerkzeug
(Best. Nr.: HKRONELSA). Die Verdrillung ist bis
zum Kontaktblock beizubehalten. Den Twist
nicht öffnen. /
Place the wires into the IDC connecting
blocks according to the color code on the
blocks. Punch the wires down with an impact
tool in order to terminate them. The cable
twist has to remain up to the contact block.
Do not open twist.
Setzen Sie die rückwärtige Abdeckung wieder
auf das Panel und verriegeln Sie es mit den
beiden Dreh-Schiebern. /
Slide the rear cover into place and lock it into
position by clasping the two plastic buttons.
Verbinden Sie den Erdungspunkt bzw. das
beigefügte Erdungskabel mit der Schrank-
erdung. /
Attach a ground wire from the ground lug to
a grounding device.
Befestigen Sie das Panel am gewünschten
Platz im Netzwerkschrank. /
Mount the patch panel in the desired position
inside the data enclosure.
