Installationsanleitung
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb eines CHIPDRIVE®-Chipkartenlesers.
Ihr CHIPDRIVE®wird Sie zuverlässig beim Umgang mit dem Speicher-
und Sicherheitsmedium der nächsten Generation - der Chipkarte -
unterstützen.
Des Weiteren können Sie mit diesem Gerät Ihre Bankgeschäfte
bequem über das Internet von zu Hause erledigen, da CHIPDRIVE®-
Chipkartenleser für das Onlinebanking nach dem HBCI-Standard
(mit Chipkartenleser) zugelassen sind. Informationen hierzu sowie
die erforderliche Chipkarte erhalten Sie in Ihrer Bankfiliale.

1 Systemvoraussetzungen
Zur Installation Ihres CHIPDRIVE®-Chipkartenlesers benötigen Sie
einen IBM-kompatiblen PC, ein CD-ROM-Laufwerk und eines der
folgenden Betriebssysteme:
Windows®2000
Windows®XP, XP x64 Edition
Windows®Server 2003
Windows®Vista*, Vista x64 Edition*
Windows®7
* Sollte die Software "Smartcard Commander" unter Windows® Vista nicht
laufen, können Sie ein kostenloses Update von unserer Webseite downloaden.
2 Installation der Software
Hinweis: Installieren Sie zunächst die Software, bevor Sie den
Chipkartenleser anschließen.
Beenden Sie alle Anwendungen, bevor Sie mit der Installation begin-
nen. Legen Sie nun die Installations-CD-ROM in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk.
Falls das Setup nicht automatisch erscheint, starten Sie es durch
einen Doppelklick auf die Datei "setup.exe". Der Assistent führt Sie
durch die Software- und Treiber-Installation.
Folgen Sie den Anweisungen des Installationsprogramms, und
führen Sie anschließend einen Neustart durch.

3 Installation der Hardware
Achtung: Sollten Sie einen Chipkartenleser mit seriellem Anschluss
(COM-Schnittstelle) besitzen, schalten Sie den PC bitte aus, bevor
Sie das Gerät anschließen, da sonst Schäden an Ihrem PC oder
dem Kartenleser entstehen können.
3.1 CHIPDRIVE®micro pro (SCR335) / desktop pro (SCR3311) /
smartFold (SCR3500)
Schließen Sie den Chipkartenleser über die USB-Schnittstelle an
Ihrem PC an.
3.2 CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro (SPR532)
Das CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro verfügt über einen optional erhältlichen
Hybridstecker, der Ihnen den Anschluss des Lesers an die serielle
oder USB-Schnittstelle Ihres PCs ermöglicht.
Schließen Sie zunächst den seriellen bzw. USB-Adapter an das Gerät
an, bevor Sie es mit dem PC verbinden. Das Adapterkabel darf nur
gewechselt werden, wenn das Gerät nicht mit dem PC verbunden ist.
Das Modell CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro (seriell) benötigt eine zusätzliche
Stromversorgung über den PS/2-Port. Damit das Gerät ordnungs-
gemäß installiert werden kann, müssen beide Stecker
(COM und PS/2) mit dem PC verbunden sein.

3.3 CHIPDRIVE®pcmcia pro (SCR243) / ExpressCardTM 54 (SCR3340)
Schieben Sie den Kartenleser in den PC-Card-Slot / ExpressCard-Slot.

1 System Requirements
To install your CHIPDRIVE®card reader, you need an IBM compatible
PC, a CD-ROM drive and one of the following operating systems:
Windows®2000
Windows®XP, XP x64 Edition
Windows®Server 2003
Windows®Vista*, Vista x64 Edition*
Windows®7
* If "Smartcard Commander" should not work with Windows® Vista, you can
download a free update from our website.
2 Installing the Software
Note: You must install the software first before connecting the
card reader.
Close all open applications before running the installer. Insert the
Installation CD in your CD-ROM drive. If the Setup program does not
launch automatically, start it by double-clicking on the "setup.exe" file.
The Wizard will then guide you through the software and driver instal-
lation. Follow the instructions provided by the installation program,
restarting your computer when the installation is complete.

3 Installing the Hardware
Warning: If your card reader has a serial connector (COM port),
turn off your PC before connecting the device. Failure to do so may
result in damages to your PC or the card reader.
3.1 CHIPDRIVE®micro pro (SCR335) / desktop pro (SCR3311) /
smartFold (SCR3500)
Connect the smart card reader to a USB port on your computer
3.2 CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro (SPR532)
The CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro offers an optional available hybrid
connector that allows you to connect the card reader to the serial or
USB port on your PC. Connect the serial or USB adaptor to the device
before connecting it to your PC. Never change the adaptor cable when
the unit is connected to your PC.
The CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro (with serial connector) requires additional
power from the PS/2 port. In order for the device to function correctly,
both connectors (COM and PS/2) must be connected to your PC.

3.3 CHIPDRIVE®pcmcia pro (SCR243) / ExpressCardTM 54 (SCR3340)
Insert the smart card reader in the PC card slot / ExpressCard slot.

1 Configuration système requise
Pour installer votre lecteur carte à puce CHIPDRIVE®, vous avez besoin
d'un PC compatible IBM, d'un lecteur de CD-ROM et de l'un des
systèmes d'exploitation suivants :
Windows®2000
Windows®XP, XP x64 Edition
Windows®Server 2003
Windows®Vista*, Vista x64 Edition*
Windows®7
* Si le logiciel “Smartcard Commander” ne fonctionne pas sous Windows®Vista,
vous pouvez télécharger une mise à jour gratuite à partir de notre site Internet.
2 Installation du logiciel
Remarque : Installez le logiciel AVANT de connecter le lecteur de
carte à puce.
Fermez toutes les applications avant de procéder à l'installation.
Placez le CD d'installation dans le lecteur de CD-ROM. Si le pro-
gramme d'installation n'apparaît pas automatiquement, démarrez-le
en double-cliquant sur le fichier " setup.exe ". L'assistant vous guide
dans l'installation du logiciel et du pilote. Suivez les instructions du
programme d'installation, puis redémarrez votre ordinateur.

3 Installation du matériel
Attention : Si votre lecteur de carte à puce est équipé d'une connexion
série (port COM), éteignez le PC avant de connecter l'appareil.
Sinon, vous risquez d'endommager le PC ou le lecteur.
3.1 CHIPDRIVE®micro pro (SCR335) / desktop pro (SCR3311) /
smartFold (SCR3500)
Connectez le lecteur de carte à puce à votre PC via le port USB.
3.2 CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro (SPR532)
Le CHIPDRIVE®pinpad pro est doté d'une prise hybride optionnelle qui
vous permet de connecter le lecteur de cartes auf port série ou au port
USB de votre PC. Branchez d'abord l'adaptateur série ou USB au lecteur
avant de connecter l'appareil au PC.
Attention : ne changez le câble de l'adaptateur que si le lecteur n'est
plus relié au PC.
Le modèle pinpad pro (avec connexion série) nécessite une alimentation
électrique supplémentaire via le port PS/2. Pour que l'appareil soit
correctement installé, les deux prises (COM et PS/2) doivent être
reliées au PC.

3.3 CHIPDRIVE®pcmcia pro (SCR243) / ExpressCardTM 54 (SCR3340)
Insérez le lecteur à puce dans la fente PC-Card / la fente ExpressCard.
