T e dynamic radio-navigation system
(multi-function display) provides an easy
andling of t e ve icle’s audio and navi-
gation comfort units. T e system can be
additionally equipped wit an original
SEAT 6 CD-c anger, a digital sound pack-
age*, and a TV/Video* module.
NNaavviiggaattiioonn
T e navigation system becomes your
"intelligent companion". It enables you to
reac your c osen destination rig t from
your departure point in an easy, safe and
comfortable way wit out aving to use
t e elp of maps. W en in unknown cities
you can, for instance, drive to t e closest
service station. During your trip you can
stop off per aps at a restaurant in partic-
ular or find a tourist spot. T e system
uses t e data stored in t e navigation CD
to work out your destination. W ile t e
system guides you to your destination it
keeps sending out messages w ic are
displayed on screen, suc as t e location
of your ve icle, instructions on turns
(direction and distance to t e turn), infor-
mation on arrival time to your destination.

ooppeerraattee??
T e present ve icle position is worked out
wit t e elp of satellites. T e distance
driven is measured by t e ABS sensor sys-
tem. T e gyroscope (turning angle sen-
sor) calculates orientation. T is informa-
tion is provided to t e navigation system
for referencing against stored carto-
grap ic material.
Outside urban areas t is type of system
may not guarantee a precise position cal-
culation. In suc a case searc is done by
satellite. T is type of positioning is known
as Global Positioning System (GPS).

In order to guarantee a proper operation
of t e navigation you s ould only use
clean CD-ROMs, wit no scratc es or dam-
age signs.
Always store unused CD-ROMs in t eir
original case.
Never expose CD-ROMs directly to sun
rays.
Please restrain from writing or sticking
anyt ing onto a CD-ROM.
T e screen displays information ( ere:
radio information), menus or a map (navi-
gation). In t e radio information display
you will see t e station keys wit t e
stored stations. T e current station is dis-
played above.
T e screen can be adjusted orizontally
or vertically to guarantee optimal reading.
