Operating Instructions:
Charging the Battery Using the Hand Crank: Unlock
the handle and crank clockwise at about 3 revolutions per
second for 1 minute or more. Continue cranking for additional
charging as needed. The red charging light will glow when
charging.
Charging the Battery Using the Built-in Solar Panel:
Placetheradioindirectsunlightwiththesolarpanelfacing
directly into the sun. The red charging light will glow when
charging.
Charging the Battery with External USB Power Source:
Using the male USB cable included with the radio, plug the
small round pin into the DC port on the side of the radio.

Using the Radio: First, make sure that the ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the radio is in the ON
position. Turn on the radio using the volume control knob on the left side of the radio. Select AM or FM
on the Band button on the top of the radio. Select stations using the Tuning knob on the right side of
the radio. Fully extend the antenna for best reception.
Backlighting for Radio Display:PresstheLightbuttononthetopoftheradiotolightthestation
tuning back lighting. This will stay on for 10 seconds and then shot off automatically.
Setting the Local Time: Pressandholdthe“TimeSet”button.Atthesametime,presseitherthe
“Hour”or“Minute”buttontosetthelocaltime.Releasethebuttonsandyourtimeisset.
