The SECURAM Safe Monitor is a Wi-Fi device designed with below functions;
o Reports temperature, humidity, door open status and vibration
o Ensures your valuables are safe and secure
o Connects to your home’s Wi-Fi
o Powered by AA batteries
o Works in any safe
o Allows remote monitoring of your safe

Using the SECURAM app, available on iOS or Android, the Safe Monitor remotely monitors:
o Temperature
o Humidity
o Door status
o Vibration
o Wi-Fi signal strength
o Battery Status
It can receive alerts/notification for:
o Temperature beyond set points
o Humidity is above/below acceptable range
o Light Detection indicating Safe Door open and close
o Vibration caused by safe attack
Getting Started:
1. Download the app
Download the app from the Apple App store or Google Play store (add QR codes here)
2. Antenna Connection:
Connect the antenna to the antenna connection port.
There are 2 antennae included in the box:
o Antenna with a 6” cable - this can be used if your WiFi signal is strong enough to communicate
with Safe Monitor through the safe structure.
o Antenna with a 72” cable – this antenna can be affixed outside the safe and the cable can be
routed through a ¼” hole through the safe wall to the Safe Monitor inside the safe.
3. Installation:
o Slide the cover open to access the battery compartment
o Install 3 AA batteries
o Connect the appropriate antenna based on your WiFi signal strength
o Position the Safe Monitor in the safe with the light sensor (clear bubble on one end of the Safe
Monitor) towards the safe door.
There are two options for affixing the Safe Monitor:
a) Use the included Velcro tape – adhere Velcro to the bottom of the device and affix to an
appropriate location in the safe.
b) Fasten with the included screws
a. Slide to open the Safe Monitor cover to reveal two installation holes. The screw hole is
located in the battery case shown in Figure 2.

b. Using the two M3×8 pan-head screws fasten the Safe Monitor to a surface such that the
light sensor is facing the door opening

Note:
Place the Safe Monitor such that the light sensor faces the door opening.
Make sure the Safe Monitor is installed such that the sliding cover can still be opened to change
batteries.
4. Setting up the Safe Monitor on the App
In the SECURAM app, tap on Setup New Device. Then, select Safe Monitor. Follow the instructions in the
app to pair the device to your account.

5. Warranty
SECURAM Safe Monitor is protected by a 12-month warranty against Manufacturer’s defects. This
warranty is applicable for 12 months from the Date of Manufacture or 12 months from the Date of
Consumer Purchase, if the product has been registered for the Consumer Purchase Warranty.
Customers are invited to register their product for this 12-month Consumer Purchase Warranty upon
installation or receipt of their safe lock. The Consumer Purchase Warranty Registration form is
packaged with each product.
6. Safety Information
Safety instructions for batteries with battery products:
Use Three AA LR6 1.5V batteries;
Non-rechargeable batteries cannot be charged;
The battery should be placed with the correct polarity (+, -);
The used battery should be taken out of the product;
The battery port must not be short-circuited;
When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery to prevent leakage;
Do not throw the battery into fire.
Do not discard used batteries.
Operating environment
Keep away from strong magnetic appliances or objects when installing equipment.
Install the device on the inside of the safe.
Use this product within the temperature range of 32 °F - 122 °F (0°C~50°C).
Children Safety
This device and its accessories may contain small parts. Keep the device and its accessories out
of the reach of children.
This device is not a toy. Children should use the device under adult supervision.
Keep away from children and pets.
Maintenance
Do not step on or hit the device to avoid damage to the device.
Equipment damage caused by human factors is not covered by the warranty.

When the battery is too low, please replace the battery in time to prevent the device from
working improperly due to low battery.
Clean the device with a dry towel.
