PPLICATION
PRG-E programmer is a programmer for start, f ame supervision and safe stop recommended for
industria or commercia use burner, with a discontinuous use cyc e (on/off burner in a period ess
than 24 hours), for power ower than 120 KW (100 000 Kca /h). For use in c osed combustion
chamber, the user must arrange a safe system of pre-purge before each start sequence, or ask a
programmer PRG-E with purge timer incorporated. Used in gas, oi or other kind of fue burners.
The produc fulfills he requiremen s of rule ABNT NBR 12313 – revision Sep . /2000. The
options are:
⇒ PRG-E- I – Input for f ame sensor by ionization, when gas is used as fue in burners that work
with this kind of sensor. See e ectrodes, sensors, ine SEL-HT-I or SEL-HT-E (e ectrode
assemb ed under draft or samp e from the specia -c ient).
⇒ PRG-E-F - Input sensor infrared f icker of the f ame.
Detecting presence of f ame when using gas, oi or other fue that causes f ame ight emission
with characteristics mentioned above.

⇒ PRG-E- U - Input for u travio et radiation sensor, when gas, ight oi s or any kind of fue that
stimu ate f ame with u travio et rays emission are used. See sensors; ine SEL-SV-U.
⇒ PRG-E- L – Input for photo-resistance sensor of cadmium su fide – visib e radiation, when oi s
or any other fue that stimu ate f ame with ye ow ight emission in dark combustion chamber
are used. See sensors; ine SEL-SV-L.
