This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or

Vegetable Oil Unpopped Kernels Popped Popcorn Yield
1 tablespoon ¼ cup 4-5 cups
2 tablespoons ½ cup 8-10 cups
NOTE: It is recommended to use vegetable oil when popping. Substituting butter, margarine, lard or shortening may cause popcorn
popper to smoke excessively. Healthier oils such as extra virgin olive oil, canola oil or sunower oil can be substituted, but quantities
should be experimented with to determine personal preferences.
4. Add vegetable oil to the popper base. Add unpopped popcorn kernels to the popper base, spreading them evenly across the nonstick
popping surface.
5. Position the serving bowl so the handles of the cover t properly into the handles of the popper base.
NOTE: DO NOT PLACE THE VENT CAP OVER THE VENT DURING THE POPPING PROCESS. PUT THE VENT CAP
IN PLACE AFTER THE POPPING PROCESS IS COMPLETE AND BEFORE FLIPPING OVER THE BOWL FOR SERVING.
6. In approximately 3-5 minutes the corn will begin to pop. When the popping speed slows down, switch off the popcorn popper and
unplug from the outlet.

6
7. Place the vent cap securely in place over the vent. The vent cap must be in place before the popper is ipped for serving
the popped corn. Using a hot pad or oven mitt, grasp the handles of both the popcorn popper and the serving bowl and rotate them
upside down. Remove the popper base by opening it away from you to allow steam to escape. Set popper base aside. The clear bowl
can now be used as a serving container.
If popping additional batches of popcorn, transfer popped corn from the serving bowl to another container and repeat the popping process above.
POPCORN HINTS, TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
• Never use microwave popcorn in your popcorn maker. Use only fresh popcorn kernels. Old or stale kernels may cause scorching or
smoking during operation. For the freshest popcorn, store kernels in a tightly sealed glass container. Do not store them in the refrigerator.
• Premium or gourmet popcorn kernels may not yield as good of results as regular popcorn kernels. There may be a larger amount of
unpopped kernels if using premium popcorn.
• If using popcorn seasonings or gourmet salts they will adhere to the freshly popped popcorn better by misting the popped corn with
a light layer of olive oil or even lemon or lime juice for a slightly different avor.
• Experiment with avors such as cinnamon, basil, Parmesan, paprika, orange zest, sea salts, oregano, rosemary and more.
