IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of re, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts will become hot. Use any handles or knobs. Parts become hot during use.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.
4. This appliance should not be used by children. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
5. Do not leave appliance unattended while in use.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before moving, putting on or taking off parts, or
before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in re, electrical shock or injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
13. This unit must be on a level surface to operate properly.
14. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
15. To disconnect turn the Control Dial to the Off position and remove plug from outlet.
16. Never operate the Chocolate Fountain auger without melted chocolate in the bowl.
17. Never place anything other than melted chocolate in the bowl.
18. Do not assemble the auger or tower while the unit is operating.

This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use
any other electrical outlet.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR
STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in
or tripping over a longer cord. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension
cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it rmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be
serviced and the line cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undo stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and
cause it to fray and break.

IMPORTANT
During the rst few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly disappear. It will
not recur after appliance has been used a few more times.
For your safety, always read and understand the Use and Care Manual before attempting to use any electric appliance.
BEFORE USING:
Carefully unpack the chocolate fountain and all parts. Remove all packaging materials, including any stickers or labels. Wipe out the
Heated Bowl with a damp sponge and dry with a soft cloth. Wash the Auger and 3 Tiered Tower in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
NEVER IMMERSE THE HEATED BOWL OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
TO ASSEMBLE: Position the chocolate fountain on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. It is recommended to operate this appliance on
a separate outlet and circuit from other appliances to avoid overloading the circuit. Align the opening on the bottom of the Auger with the
Base Pin. Place the Tower over the Auger making sure it is tted on the posts in the Base. Place the Mickey Ears Topper on top of the
3 Tiered Tower to complete assembly.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Position the chocolate fountain on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. It is very important that you choose a location that is level to
operate properly and to create the desired owing effect. Assemble according to instructions.
2. Turn the switch to the “Heat Only” setting and allow the chocolate fountain to preheat for 3-5 minutes before adding melted chocolate.
NOTE: the heater on the Heated Base is meant to maintain the consistency of melted chocolate. It is recommended to melt the
chocolate prior to pouring it into the Heated Bowl.
3. While the chocolate fountain is preheating, place 2 bags of chocolate chips (24 ounces) and ¾ cup of vegetable oil in a microwave
safe bowl. Melt in the microwave for about 2 ½ to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Chocolate must be completely melted and have
a thin consistency in order to ow properly. If needed, add additional oil to thin out the chocolate.
4. Once the chocolate is completely melted, turn the switch to the “Heat & Flow” setting so that the motor and heater are both running.
5. Carefully pour the melted chocolate into the Heated Bowl at the base of the Tower. The melted chocolate should ow up the Auger
inside the Tower and out the top of the Tower creating the cascading ow over each tier.
6. Use different foods like fruit, pretzels and pound cake to enjoy.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself.
1. Before cleaning, unplug from outlet and allow to cool.
2. Carefully remove the Auger and Tower. Remove remaining chocolate with paper towels and wash in warm, soapy water. Carefully
pour out as much remaining chocolate from the Bowl as possible into a garbage bag. NEVER POUR OUT EXCESS CHOCOLATE
DOWN THE DRAIN. Use a non-abrasive damp cloth or sponge to wipe out and let dry. NEVER IMMERSE THE HEATED BOWL
OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher.
3. NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SCOURING PADS TO CLEAN THE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN, AS THOSE MAY
DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
To store, be sure all parts are clean and dry. Store appliance in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never store it while it is hot or wet. Never
wrap cord tightly around the appliance; keep it loosely coiled on the bottom of the chocolate fountain.
CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
• This appliance is NOT A TOY. This appliance is not intended for use by children or cognitively challenged individuals. Young children
should be supervised while product is in use to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• The chocolate fountain must be level to operate properly and to create the desired owing effect.
• If chocolate beings to drip instead of ow, the chocolate is not thin enough. Add a little more oil to thin the chocolate.
• Take care to not drop pieces of food in the Bowl as it will “cease the auger” and stop the ow of chocolate. If the fountain starts to
work intermittently, check to see if food has become lodged in the Bowl.
• Never add cold or cool liquid to the chocolate fountain as it will “cease the auger” and stop the ow of chocolate.
• Do not place ngers directly into the owing chocolate.
• Do not add cold liquids to the chocolate as this will ruin the chocolate consistency.
• Dip various fruits, pretzels, crackers, bread, cookies or any other snack you may enjoy.
• Your chocolate fountain can be used for all kinds of occasions such as Weddings, Birthdays, Holidays or just for fun!

RECIPE IDEAS
Flavored Chocolate & Fun Variations
• Add 1 to 1 ½ tsp avored extract or avored cooking oils to 2 bags of chocolate chips (24 ounces) to enhance the chocolate avor as
desired. Try these avors: Cappuccino, Raspberry, Cheesecake, Almond, Coconut, Creme De Menthe, Amaretto, Strawberry, etc....
• Try replacing the ¾ c vegetable oil with cocout oil.
• Melt Peanut Butter with the chocolate chips.
• Use different avors of chocolates like White Chocolate and Butterscotch or Bakers Caramel for something new.
• Mix oil based food coloring to change the color of your chocolate!
• Add 2 tbsp of your favorite liquor for something fun! To remove the alcohol, bring to a boil and mix with the melted chocolate.
Caramel Sauce
Ingredients:
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• 2 cups white sugar
• 4 tbp butter
• 4 tbsp light corn syrup
• 1/2 cup bakers caramel or caramel pieces
Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Gently boil for 5 minutes.
3. While the caramel sauce is boiling, turn the switch to the “Heat Only” setting and allow the chocolate fountain to preheat for 3-5
minutes before adding caramel mixture.
4. Once the caramel sauce is completely melted, turn the switch to the “Heat & Flow” setting so that the motor and heater are both
running.
5. Carefully pour the melted caramel sauce into the Heated Bowl at the base of the Tower and enjoy with fruit, pretzels, or your favorite
snack!
Tip: Try adding 2 tsp salt for a salted caramel variation!

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SELECT BRANDS, INC. warrants, subject to the conditions stated below, that from the date of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects
for a period of one (1) year. SELECT BRANDS, INC., at its option, will repair or replace this product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Should this product become defective by reason of improper workmanship or material defect during the specied warranty period, Select Brands, Inc. will
repair or replace the same effecting all necessary parts replacements for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales
receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service or replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail stores do not have the right to alter,
modify or in any way, change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on Select Brands, Inc. products. Save your proof of purchase receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY: Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate.
For example, warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling,
warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the
equipment has been altered or modied. During the warranty period, the authorized service dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon
examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.
NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: Negligent use or misuse of the
product; Improper voltage or current; Use contrary to the operation instructions; Deviation from instructions regarding storage and transportation; Repair or
alteration by anyone other than SELECT BRANDS, INC. or an authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as re,
ood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
SELECT BRANDS, INC. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except
to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of
the above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you
may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: You must contact SELECT BRANDS, INC. Customer Service at 1-913-663-4500. A Customer Service
representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the phone. If telephone resolution is not possible, the Customer Service representative
will require your assistance in performing routine diagnostic procedures. This warranty is effective for the time periods listed above and subject to the
conditions provided for in this policy.
