DESCRIPTION DE L’EQUIPEMENT
Les étuves de la serie CONTERM sont conçues pour
permettre la dessiccation et stérilisation pour
températuresréglablesdepuis 40ºCjusqu’à250ºC.La
distribution de la chaleur intérieure s’effectue par
convectionnaturelle.
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
CONTERM ovens are designed for drying and
sterilization for adjustable temperatures from 40 ºC
upto250ºC. The heatdistributioninside the chamber
isproducedbynaturalconvection.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Voltage supply 115-230 V 50/60 Hz as indicated on
the characteristics plate.
INSTALLATION
Installer l’étuve sur une surface plane, horizontale et
nivelée,enlaissantunespacelibrede10cm.versl’arrière
etautourdespartieslatéralesdel’équipement.
Pour un meilleur fonctionnement, ne pas situer l’étuve
endes lieuxexposésdirectementausoleil ouprèsd’une
sourcedechaleur.
Pourunfonctionnementoptimal,latempératureambiante
ne doit pas dépasser 30ºC.
INSTALLATION
Puttheovenon aflat ,horizontal, levelsurfaceleaving
aspaceofabout10cm at the back of the apparatus.
Forabetterovenfunction, donotsituateit inplaces
where it can be directly exposed to the sun radiation
or heat sources.
For an optimum function the ambient temperature
must not be over 30ºC.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour le séchage ou le
traitement de produits qui pourraient dégager des
vapeurs ou former des mélanges explosifs ou
inflammables.
S’assurer que la tension d’alimentation
correspond bien à celle indiquée sur la
plaque de caractéristiques de l’appareil.
Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, s’assurer de sa
bonne connexion à la prise de terre.
Pour changer la prise de branchement, ne
pas oublier les indications suivantes :
Câble bleu : Neutre.
Câble marron : Phase.
Câble jaune/vert : Terre.

Do not use the incubator to dry or for thermal
treatment of products which can give off vapours
capable of making an explosive mixture.
Be sure that the voltage supply is the same as the
one indicated on the characteristics plate.
Do not use the apparatus if it is not earthed.
If you change the plug bear in mind the following :
Blue cable: Neutral.
Browncable: Phase.
Yellow/green cable: Earth.

MISEENMARCHE
1. Actionner l’interrupteur de mise en marche (1) au
même moment le témoin lumineux de signalisation
réseaus’allumera (vert)(2).
2. Tournerlacommandedu régulateurdetempérature
(10)dansle sens desaiguillesd’une montre jusqu’à
fairecoïncider la flèche indicatrice avec la
température de travail. Le témoin lumineux de
fonctionnementdelarésistancejaune(11)s’allumera
alors.
3. Bloquer la commande du thermostat de régulation
(10)àl’aidedulevierde blocage (9) pour éviter tout
mouvementaccidentelde cette commande.
4. Lorsqueletempsdeprécautionestécoulé,letémoin
lumineux de fonctionnement de la résistance (11)
commenceraàclignoter.Desclignotementscontinus
indiqueront que la température de l’étuve se sera
stabilisée.
OBSERVATIONS
* La graduation de l’échelle du thermostat sert
uniquement d’indication, la température réelle de
l’intérieur de l’enceinte étant celle indiquée par le
thermomètre(12).
* Ne pas faire travailler l’étuve à des températures
inférieuresàcelledel’ambiance +5°C car dans ces
conditions, le thermostat ne fonctionne pas
correctement.
* Toutes les régulations de température doivent être
toujoursfaitesdans le sens ascendant,c’est-à-dire,
qu’avantdechoisirunevaleur nominale, il faut faire
tournerla commande jusqu’à lafindes graduations.
On obtiens ainsi une régulation de la température
plusexacte puisque celacompensele jeu inévitable
de l’axe du thermostat.
* Pour une parfaite uniformité de la température à
l’intérieurdel’étuve, placer lematérieldefaçon à ce
qu’iln’occupepasplus de 70% du volumeintérieur.
ETUVES EQUIPEES D’UN THERMOSTAT DE
SECURITE
Pour l’ajustement de la température d’attaque du
thermostatdesécuritésuivrelesétapessuivantes:
1.Unefoisl’étuvebranchée et l’interrupteurgénéral(1)
misen marche, tournerlacommandedu thermostat
de sécurité (4) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montrejusqu’àlafindesgraduations.
2. Vérifierquelethermostatdesécuritéestbienréarmé,
en poussant la touche de réarmement du
thermostat(3).Letémoinlumineuxrouge(6)doitêtre
éteint.
STARTINGUP
1. Press the mains switch (1). The green indicator
lamp will light up (2).
2. Turn the temperature control knob (10) clockwise
until the working temperature coincides with the
pointer.The amberindicatorlamp (11) willlightup.
3. Block the temperature control knob (10) with the
blockage device (9) to avoid accidentally moving
the knob.
4. Afteracertain time, the heater operation indicator
lamp(11), will startoperating intermittently.When
these intermittences become uniform, the tem-
perature of the oven is stabilized.
COMMENTS:
* The thermostat scale is intended as a guide, the
real temperature level inside the oven is the one
thatthethermometer (12) shows.
* Do not use the oven at a lower temperature than
ambient+5ºCbecausethethermostatwill not op-
eratecorrectly.
* All the temperature regulations must always be
done in ascent. Before choosing any value, the
knob must be turned left to the end of the scale.
Then a more exact regulation is obtained.
* Placethe load in the oven trying to leave spaces
for the air circulation. Do not load the oven more
than 70% of its useful chamber volume.
OVENS WITH SAFETY THERMOSTAT:
To adjust the safety thermostat temperature do as
follows:
1. With the oven connected to the mains, turn the
safety thermostat control knob (4) clockwise to
the end of the scale.
2. Ensurethatthesafetythermostatisresetbypress-
ing the reset button (3). The red pilot (6) must be
off.

3. Sélectionner la température d’attaque avec le
régulateurdetempérature(10).Cettetempératuredoit
êtreaumoinsde 5°Csupérieurequelatempérature
detravail.
4. Fermer la porte de l’étuve et mettre en marche en
appuyantsurla touche (1).
5. Lorsquelatempératuredel’étuve seserastabilisée
àlatempératurepré-sélectionnée,tournerlentement
le thermostat de sécurité (4) dans le sens inverse
desaiguillesd’unemontre,jusqu’àcequ’ils’arrête
(unclic caractéristiquesefera entendreetle témoin
lumineux d’alarme (rouge) (6) s’allumera et le
chauffages’éteindra.
6.Arrêterl’étuveenappuyantsurla touche (1). Ouvrir
la porte et laisser l’enceinte se refroidir jusqu’à ce
quelatempératurebaissede50%parrapportàla
températurede travail(approximativement).
7.Appuyer sur la touche de réarmement (3) à ce
moment là, le témoin lumineux rouge (6) devra
s’éteindre.
8. A l’aide de la touche de régulation de température
(10) pré-sélectionner la température de travail qui
devra être inférieure au moins de 5°C à la
températured’attaqueduthermostat de sécurité.
9.Ace moment là, l’étuve est prête pour le travail.
NOTA: Leprocessus d’ajustementdu thermostat
de sécurité est assez long. C’est pour
cetteraison qu’ilest surtoutpratique pour
les utilisateurs qui travaillent à la même
température.
ETUVESEQUIPEESD’UNCHRONO-RUPTEUR
1. Mettre le sélecteur (1) en position .
2. Avec la commade (7) fixer le temps désiré auquel
l’étuvedoit s’arrêter automatiquement.
3. Pourtravailler entemps indéfini,placer lesélecteur
enposition«ON».
ETUVES EQUIPEES D’UN PROGRAMMATEUR
HORAIRE:
1. Mettre le sélecteur (1) en position .
2. Avec l’aide d’un petit tournevis faire descendre les
camesde lapériodede tempsàlaquelle l’étuvedoit
fonctionner.
3. Pourtravailler entemps indéfini,placer lesélecteur
enposition«ON».
3. Selectthedesiredsafety temperaturewith thetem-
perature control knob (10). This temperature has
tobe minimumat5ºCabove theworkingtempera-
ture.
4. With the door closed, turn on the oven with the
switch(1).
5. When the temperature of the oven is stabilized,
turn the safety thermostat control knob (4) slowly
to the left until it clicks, the red indicator lamp (6)
lights up and the heating turns off permanetly.
6. Stop the oven with the switch (1). Open the door
and leave it to cool with the door open until the
temperature goes down the 50% of the working
temperature(approx.).
7. Resetthesafetythermostatbypressing the reset
button (3), the red pilot must turn off.
8. Select the working temperature with the thermo-
stat control knob (10) (minimum at 5ºC below the
desiredsafety temperature).
9. Nowtheovenisreadyto work.
NOTE:Thesafetythermostatisusefulwhentheuser
works habitually at the same temperature.
OVENS WITH TIMER:
1. Put the switch selector (1) in position.
2. Choose the time you want the oven to stop auto-
matically with the knob (7).
3. If you want to work to an indefinable time, put the
timer selector (1) in “ON” position.
INCUBATORSWITHPROGRAMMABLETIMER:
1. Put the switch selector (1) in position.
2. Preset the starting up and stop time with the le-
versoftheprogrammabletimer.
3. If you want to work to an indefinable time, put the
timer selector (1) in “ON” position.

MAINTENANCE
Before removing the casing disconnect the
apparatus from the mains.
Themanipulation ofthe internal electroniccircuits
of the incubator by unauthorized personnel can
cause irreparable damage. Take it to one of the
J.P.SELECTA, s.a. authorized technical services.
CLEANING:
Forthe cleaning ofthedifferent parts usethefollowing
products:
Cleaning of stainless steel: Alcohol.
Cleaning of plastic: Alcohol with cotton duster.
ENTRETIEN
Avant d’ouvrir l’étuve pour manipuler dans son
intérieur, déconnecter la prise de courant.
La manipulation des circuits électroniques
internes de l’étuve par un personnel non autorisé
peut provoquer des dommages difficilement
réparables. S’assurer de ne confier l’équipement
qu’àdes services techniques autoriséspar ROGO-
SAMPAIC agent en France de J.P. SELECTA S.A.
