• Store both new and used buon cell baeries so that
theyarenotaccessibletochildren.
• Ifyoususpectthatabuoncellbaeryhasbeenswallo-
wedorotherwiseincorporated,promptlyconsultaphy-

• Only have the baery replaced with the same baery
type.
• If you suspect a child has swallowed a buon baery,
go to a hospital emergency room immediately. Do not
let the child eat or drink and do not induce voming.

• If it is no longer possible to securely close the baery
compartmentwiththecasecover,disposeofthecolour

• Disposeofbaeriesatyourcolleconpoint.

1.Takethecolourwatchoutofthepackaging.
2.Removetheprotecvefoilfromthecolourwatch.
3.Checkwhetherthecolourwatchiscompleteand
undamaged (see Fig. A).
Ifthisisnotthecase,donotusethecolourwatch.Contactthe
serviceaddressprovidedonthewarrantycard.

hands). Under these condions the aected areas are
subjectedtosignicantlyhighermechanicalstressesthan
the immersion depth would inially suggest. Only for
classicaonsfrom50mcanacolourwatchbejusably
consideredwaterresistant(showeringpossible).Forclas-
sicaonsfrom100mitispossibletoalsowearacolour
watchduringswimming.
• However,waterresistanceisnotalasngproperty,asthe
integratedsealingelementsmaydeteriorateinfuncon
duetodailyuseormaybecomedamagedduetoanim-
pactorbeingallowedtofall.
• Ifacolourwatchisexposedtogreattemperaturedie-
rences,forexamplegoingforaswimincoolwateraer
sunbathing, condensate may form inside the housing.
Thisis not necessarilyindicaveofwaterleaksbutit is
mandatorytopromptlyremovethemoisture.
