GETTING STARTED
Follow these simple steps and you’ll be enjoying a luxurious massage in no time.
• Beforerstuse,chargeyourSmartWandfor2hours(p. 3).
• Oncecharged,pressthe+buttontoactivate.
• Youcanswitchbetween8vibrationpatternsusingthebutton.Usethe+and
–buttonstoadjustvibrationstrength.
• ToswitchtoSenseTouch™settings,holdthebuttondownfor3-5seconds.Your
SmartWandwillnowemitalowvibrationwhennotincontactwiththebody.
• Pressthewandagainstyourhandandholdtoexperience100%vibration
power.Thelevelofvibrationstrengthwillincreaseover3-5secondsandremain
constantuntilremovedfromthebody.
• Pressthe–buttontoreducevibrationstrengthtoalevelyouarecomfortable
with.Keepthewandincontactwiththebodytocheckvibrationstrength.
• Holdingdownthe–buttonwillturnoffyourSmartWand.

• Insertthemainsplugintoawallsocket.TheLEDontheinterfaceofyourSmart
Wandwillpulsetoindicateitischarging.Whenitisfullycharged(afterc.2hours),
theLEDwillemitasteadyglow.
• Whenthebatteryisrunninglow,theLEDonyourSmartWandwillemitablinking
whitelight.
OnlyuseoriginalchargersprovidedbyLELOwithyourSmartWand.

USING YOUR SMART WAND
ON/OFF and Controlling Power
Pressthe+buttontoturnonyourSmartWand.Whenactive,usethe
+/ –buttonstoincreaseanddecreasepower.ToturnoffyourSmart
Wand,holdthe–buttonuntilthevibrationsstop.(Note:Whenusedinthe
SenseTouch™setting,thewandmustbeincontactwiththebodytofeel
thechangeinpower.)
Changing Modes
Pressingthebuttonallowsyoutocyclethroughyourwand’s8differentmassage
patterns.WhenyouturnoffyourSmartWandbypressingthe–button,itwillreset
tomode1.
Travel Lock
LockyourSmartWandbetweenusestoavoidunintendedactivation.Tolock,press
and hold the +and –buttonstogetherfor5seconds.Repeattounlock.Notethat
chargingwillautomaticallyunlockyourSmartWand.

USING SENSETOUCH™SETTINGS
SenseTouch™isapatent-pendingfeatureforLELOSmartWandsengineeredto
closelymimicprofessionalmassagetechniques.Ratherthanapplyingmaximum
stimulationtomusclesfromthestart,massagestrengthbuildswhenthewand
comesincontactwiththeskin.Thisiscausedbyspecialtouchsensorsinthetip
thatrecognizewhenthewandisincontactwiththebody.Whennottouchingthe
skin,vibrationintensitydecreasestoalowpurr.
• EverytimeyouswitchyourSmartWandtotheSenseTouch™setting,vibration
outputwillbeautomaticallysetto100%.PressthevibratingendofyourSmart
Wandintoyourpalmtofeeltheincreaseinpower.Adjustthevibrationstrength
toyourpreferredlevelwiththe+and –buttons.
• Tomassagetensionpointsgradually,itwilltakeapproximately3-5seconds
fromthepointthewandcomesincontactwiththebodytoincreasevibration
strengthtothelevelyouhaveselected.

TURNING ON/OFF SENSETOUCH™
TurnonSenseTouch™settingswhentheSmartWandisactivebypressingand
holdingthebuttonfor3-5seconds.TheLEDwillashtwicetoconrmthesetting
haschanged.HolddownthebuttonagaintoturnoffSenseTouch™.Thiswill
deactivatethetouchsensorandallowyoutocontrolsettingsdirectlythroughthe
controlinterface(STANDARD).Allothercontrolsremainthesame(p. 4).
NOTE:IfyouwishtoaddattachmentsandaccessoriestoyourSmartWand(such
asalternativemassageaccessories),alwaysensurethatSenseTouch™isturnedoff.
Thetouchsensorsonlyrespondtodirectcontactwiththebody.
IMPORTANT
YourLELOSmartWandfeaturesamemoryfunction;whenyouturnonyourSmart
Wand,itwilloperateinthelastcontrolsettingitwasusedin(SenseTouch™or
STANDARD).Asabove,changethissettingbypressingandholdingthebutton
for3-5seconds.
If you leave your Smart Wand on in SenseTouch™settings, it will turn off after 1 minute
to conserve battery life. When you turn it back on, the power will be set again at 100%.

TIPS ON USING SMART WANDS
WhenusingyourSmartWandtorelaxorrelievediscomfortfrommuscletension,
achesorpains,werecommendthefollowingtechnique:
• WithSmartWandactivatedandvibrationsatalowintensity-eitherinSenseTouch™
orstandardsettings-beginbytouchingtheexiblemassagetiptothetension
point.Touch,notpress,themassagingheadagainsttheskinontheaffected
areafor3to4seconds,andholdaslongasiscomfortable.Thenremovefrom
theskinandrepeatthisprocessinandaroundtheareayouwishtorelax.
• Afterabout2minutesyoucanincreasethevibrationstrengthofyourSmart
Wandandapplyalittlemorepressure.Asyoucontinuetoincreasepressureand
vibrationstrength,youwillbegintostimulatemuscletissueatdeeperlevels.
• Youmayalsoenjoyamorerelaxingmassageinthebathorshower,wherewarm
waterwillrelaxyourmusclesandmakethemmorereceptivetostimulation.

BENEFITS OF REGULAR MASSAGE
SenseTouch™enablesuserstoapplyvariedlevelsofintensitytoareasaffected
bydiscomfortfrommuscletension,achesorpains.Thisallowsyoutomoreeasily
createyourownmassagetechniqueofeithergentleorstrongmassage,each
carryinguniquebenetsoftheirown:
Gentle massagestimulatesthenerveendingstowardsthesurfaceoftheskinand
causesyourbodytoincreaselevelsofendorphins,naturalchemicalsthatcause
youtofeelrelaxed.Theeffectofyourincreasedsenseofwell-beingslowsyour
heartrateandregulatesbreathing,therebyreducingstresslevels.
Strong Massageincreasesbloodcirculation,andwithit,levelsofoxygenand
nutrientstothetissueinthemassagedarea.Thisincreasedcirculationwillalso
helptoushwastetowardsyourlymphaticsystem,whichinturnassistsyourbody’s
immunitytoillness.Inadditiontoallofthis,strongmassagereachestensemuscles
thatliemoredeeplybeneaththeskin’ssurfacetoeasemusclediscomfort.

CLEANING, STORAGE, AND SAFETY
YourSmartWandwillofferyearsofenjoymentwithpropermaintenanceandcare.
Using your Smart Wand with hand creams or silicone-based lubricants may make
the silicone permanently tacky. When using with massage oils, be sure to clean your
Smart Wand carefully after use. LELO recommends using a water-based solution
such as LELO Personal Moisturizer or another respectable brand.
Always clean your Smart Wand thoroughly before and after each use. The most
effective way of doing this is to use a purpose-made cleaning solution such as LELO’s
Antibacterial Cleaning Spray. Alternatively, you can wash the silicone with warm
water and antibacterial soap, rinse with clean hot water and pat dry with a lint-free
cloth or towel. Never use cleansers containing alcohol, petrol or acetone.
Avoid leaving your Smart Wand in direct sunlight and NEVER expose it to extreme
heat. Store your Smart Wand in a dust-free place and keep it away from products of
other materials.
NOTE:SmartWandsarealloverbodymassagersandnotclassiedasamedicaldevice.Do
notmassagearoundyourchestorthroat,andifyouexperienceseverediscomfortduring
themassage,youshouldstopusingtheSmartWandandconsultyourhealthcareprovider.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The LED on your Smart Wand does not pulse when charger is connected?
• Batteryisdrainedandwillrequireseveralminutestoacknowledgethatitis
being charged.
• Chargerisnotproperlyconnected.CheckwallandDCsockets.
Your Smart Wand does not activate when +is pressed?
• Thebatteryisempty.RechargeyourSmartWand.
• TheinterfaceofyourSmartWandislocked.Holddown+and –for5seconds.
• SenseTouch™settingisON.Placeincontactwithskinandchecktoseewhether
vibrationstrengthincreases.Ifyouwish,youcanreturntostandardsettingsby
holdingdownthebuttonfor3-5seconds.
