Intended Use
The device is intended for massaging your neck / shoulders / back, buttocks /
lumbar area and legs and is used for relaxation. lt is not a replacement for
medically required treatment.
The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate
remote-control system.
The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial
applications. The device should only be used as described in the operating
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage,
assembly or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety Instructions
This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired
sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or
knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use
the device.
Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they
are supervised.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the
device and the connecting cable.
The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to heat and may not
be used by other vulnerable people who are unable to react to overheating.
Do not use the device if it is damp. It must be completely dry before it can be
switched back on again.
Do not switch on the device when it is folded up or allow the device to cool down
before it is folded up and stored away. Do not insert any safety pins,drawing pins
or other pointed objects into the device.
Do not use the mains adapter with another device and never use this device with
a mains adapter (other than that supplied).
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and
animals. Incorrect operation may lead to injuries and electric shocks.

The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when left
unattended and before cleaning it.
Check the device for damage each time before you use it. The device may only
be used if the device and connecting cable have no visible signs of damage! If
the device or the connecting cable are damaged, they must be replaced by the
manufacturer, customer service department or a specialist workshop in order to
avoid any hazards.
Follow the instructions in the "Cleaning and Storage" section!
Dangers for the Following Types of People
The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor:
people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants;
people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy;
people who have back complaints or spinal disorders;
people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone inflammation (in
particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis;
women who are pregnant or have just given birth;
people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis;
people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment
is not yet complete;
people with physical abnormalities;
people who have a malignant tumour.
lf you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a medical doctor.
Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.

DANGER- Danger of Electric Shock
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms
with high humidity.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device and
the connecting cable cannot fall into water or become wet.
Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not
attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains
power!
Never touch the device and the connecting cable with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water. Have it
checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING - Danger of Injury
Danger of suffocation!
Keep children and animals away from the packaging
material.
The device may only be used by people who are able to handle the controller.
Danger of tripping!
Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip
hazard.
Danger of strangulation!
Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out
of the reach of small children and animals.
Do not insert any fingers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip
during use.
WARNING- Danger of Fire
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive
substances.
To prevent overheating, do not use the device under a blanket or similar cover.
Do not place the connecting cable or the controller on or beneath the device
during operation.
Unwind the connecting cable fully before connecting to the mains power.

NOTE - Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Only connect the mains adapter to a correctly installed socket outlet. The socket
outlet must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to
the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate
of the device and the mains adapter.
The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains adapter.
Make sure that the cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Switch off the device and pull the mains adapter out of the socket outlet if an error
occurs during operation or before a thunderstorm.
Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that
there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid
possible damage.
Never place heavy objects on the device or the connecting cable.
Protect the device from heat sources, naked flames, sub-zero temperatures,
persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.

Check the items supplied for completeness and the components for transport
damage. lf you find any damage, do not use the device, but contact our customer
service department (0800 422 274).
Remove any possible films, stickers or transport protection from the device.
Never remove the rating label (located on the body of the adaptor and on the
controller of the massager).

By pressing the buttons on the controller, the following functions can be selected:

GENERAL USE WARNINGS
Do not use the device in bed.
Do not fall asleep while using the device. The device must not be folded up or
covered when on. Never stand on the device.
Do not use the device for longer than 30 minutes without stopping.
For hygiene reasons, avoid direct contact of the skin with the device wherever
possible. It should not come into contact with skin that has had cream or oil
applied to it. lf you experience a feeling of discomfort, stop using the device and
consult a doctor if necessary.
We recommend that you wait an hour after mealtimes before using the device.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place the massage mat on a sofa or chair, for example, or lay it out on the floor.
lf necessary, fix the massage mat in place with the fastening strap (7) so that it
does not slip.
Connect the barrel connector of the mains power adapter to the connecting socket
on the device and insert the mains adapter into an easily accessible mains socket
outlet.
Sit or lie down on the massage mattress.
Hold the controller and press the on / off button (9). The power indicator LED (10)
will illuminate. The device automatically starts in the preset massage mode F1.
By pressing the buttons on the controller, select the desired massage zones, pre-
programmed modes and the level of intensity (see the “Product Overview /
Controller" section).
We recommend that you use each massage program for no more than 15
minutes.
The device switches off automatically after approximately 15 minutes. For another
massage program, switch the device on again via the controller.
Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and the barrel connector from the
device. Allow the device to cool down if the heating function was activated before
it is stored away or cleaned (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning
pads to clean the device. These may damage the surfaces.
Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power and has cooled
down if applicable.
Clean the device only with a slightly damp cloth.
When storing it away, gently roll or fold, do not use force as this could damage
the internal electrical components.
Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected
from direct sunlight and is not accessible to children or animals.

Troubleshooting
lf the device does not work properly, first check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. lf the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the
customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
