SETUP
Batteries
The system is powered by two 7.4V Ion-Lithium
batteries, resulting in approx. 11 hours’ autonomy in
base mode.
The two batteries are inserted by sliding them through
the flaps.
To extract the batteries, press on lower fla
ps, sliding the
battery in the opposite direction.

receiver in order to transmit corrections.

SETTOP REPEATER
MODE
The Settop RadioLink is connected to a
Settop
Repeater devic
e so as to transmit the differential
corrections via radio received through a
n NTRIP
protocol.
The Settop RadioLink adjusts perfectly onto the Settop
Repeater
device at the back. By means of the
connectors and two screws, the devices are perfectly
and tightly joined.
As soon as the SETTOP Repeater
is turned on it will
automatically set up the SETTOP RadioLink.
The device
should
be placed on a tripod and in an area with GPRS
coverage.
LED indicators
.
Once the SETTOP RadioLink device has been
suitably connected.
LED TX (Transmit) must be constantly flashing.
LED RX (Receive) must be off when in Base mode*;
in Repeater mode, it must flash, alternating with the
TX.
LED POWER must be permanently on when it is
being powered.
*NB: In Base mode, the LED might flash if there are
external sources of interference.

REPEATER MODE
The Settop RadioLink
is set up to repeat the signal
of a base station.
The radio must be configured in Repeater mode
prior to
the field trip and using the
Pacific Crest ADL Conf.
software. When the ba
tteries are connected, the radio
automatically turns on, starting to receive the
corrections from the base and to immediately tra
nsmit
them, expanding radio range.
