Recipes
Sandwiches
∙Before toasting, always lightly butter the
outside of the bread and place the slices
with the buttered side against the cooking
plates. The butter helps the browning
process and makes it easier to remove
the toast from the cooking plates.
∙The filling (cheese, ham etc.) should be
cut to match the sandwich shape. Ensure
that the filling does not overlap the slice of
bread.
Ham and cheese sandwich
Ingredients:
4 slices of sandwich bread, 4 slices of lean
cooked ham, 2 slices of Gouda cheese,
paprika powder.
Preparation:
Put one slice of ham and one of cheese on
to 2 of the bread slices, season with paprika
and then cover with the two remaining slices
of ham and bread.

4 slices sandwich-bread, 65g butter, 125g
of grated cheese, 2 egg yolks, salt, paprika
powder, finely chopped parsley.

mixture onto 2 slices of bread. Cover with
the 2 remaining pieces of bread.
Tuna fish sandwich
Ingredients:
4 slices sandwich bread, butter, 1 tin of tuna,
4 slices cheese, 6-8 stuffed olives (sliced).
Preparation:
Butter the outside of each piece of bread,
add 2 slices of cheese, the tuna and sliced
olives, cover with the two remaining pieces
of bread.
Waffles
∙The plates should be lightly greased
before the waffle dough is put on.

100g butter, 125g flour, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp.
vanilla powder (unsweetened), salt, 250ml
milk, 4 egg yolks, 4 egg whites.

Melt the butter. Put the flour into a bowl
and mix it together with the sugar, vanilla
powder and a pinch of salt. Stir in the milk
and butter – allow it to cool down first – and
