VTag Instruction & Tips
Thanks To VTag You'll NEVER Lose Track of Your Phone, Keys, Purse, Wallet,
Kid, Cat & Other Personal Belonging's Again!
VTag is a Bluetooth wireless device that works with your iPhone (and all Apple
mobile devices) using the super cool Free Apple BlueSmart App.
The VTag locator range reaches 65 feet. BlueSmart App runs the show for VTag
on the iPhone. Using the additional VTrump App will easily allow you to adjust
the sound volume and distance for each VTag (10 max) to the distance you
desire. Alerts will be made if the VTag gets out of range.

Get to Know Your VTag
Install the Battery: The back cover needs to be turned counter clockwise to
remove. Insert the battery and replace back cover by turning clockwise until
tight. The Vtag is ready for use.
Install the Apps:
iPhone & Apple Mobile Devices: Download the free Apple BlueSmart App
from the Apple iTunes App Store.
Download the VTrump App for VTag from the Apple iTunes App Store.
(The VTrump App provides additional fine-tuning for your VTag beyond the
default settings for distance adjustment, improved volume settings for
alerts, etc.)
Android Phones: (Android Phones must be Bluetooth Version 4.0 Enabled to
work with VTag.)
Download the VTrump App found at the Apple iTunes App Store. (Do not
use the Apple BlueSmart App with Android)
The VTrump App is the only App you will need to control your VTag device.
Only 1 VTag will work with Android Phone at this time.
All user instructions for the Android come from VTrump and they are happy
to help
Activate VTag: Open BlueSmart App and press the VTag Activation Button
(Button with Blue Dot) 3 to 4 seconds. On iPhone press "Search" in
BlueSmart App to connect the Vtag. The Vtag should now be connected.
The VTag stays activated and sends an alert when you're iPhone and VTag
get out of range from each other. (Default 65 feet. Environmental
conditions may reduce the distance).
Sometimes it's easier to turn off all alerts and simply click "Find Me"
when searching for your keys, etc. while at home.

Phone Notification On/Off: Open the BlueSmart App and press the
"Settings" button. Open "Background Notifications" and turn the
Options On/Off.
Phone Sound On/Off: Open the BlueSmart App and press the "Settings"
button. Open "Phone Sound" and turn the Options On/Off.
Add A Picture: Press the VTag and then press the "Camera" button on
the BlueSmart App and take the picture to customize your specific
VTag.
Change VTag Name: Press VTag & Press "Control" button in the
BlueSmart App. Now you're able change the name of your VTag. If you
have multiple VTags repeat this procedure for each.
VTag Alarm Settings: Open the BlueSmart App and press the "Settings"
button. Click on your VTag and open "Controls" in the Smart Blue App.
Then Press "Scenario" and click on the Scenario that you want to use.
You will see multiple scenarios and each scenario makes it possible to
adjust settings such as the alarm type, etc. These scenarios can be
linked to your VTag.
Press "Discovery" To find your VTags.
Press "Records" To see records of your linked and lost VTags.
Press "Connect/Disconnect" To connect or disconnect your VTag.
Finding iPhone: Take any VTag that is connected to your iPhone. If in
range the iPhone can be found by pressing both buttons (at the same
time) on each side of the Vtag. The iPhone will sound the alert helping
you find it.
VTag Sound On/Off: Open the BlueSmart App and press "Settings"
button. Open "Phone Sound" and turn the Options On/Off. Use the
VTrump App for more sound volume control.

Finding VTag: "FIND ME": Open the BlueSmart App and click on the
VTag you want to find & click "Find Me" and VTag will give a sound
and light signal.
If the VTag is out of a range of 65 feet (20 meters) the last
recorded position will be observed on the map, which can be seen
in the same screen.
Walk around with your iPhone looking at the MAP to guide you to
where the VTag is. Once you are in range both iPhone and VTag
will alert.
Finding iPhone: Take any VTag that is connected to your iPhone. If
in range the iPhone can be found by pressing both buttons (at the
same time) on each side of the Vtag. The iPhone will sound the
alert helping you find it.
Turn VTag Off: (There are two options to do this)
1: Open the BlueSmart App and press on the VTag you want to
disable, then press "Close".
2: Remove the battery from the VTag.
Turn BlueSmart App Off: Press the Home button, followed by two
quick clicks to Home Button. Press & Hold BlueSmart for a few
seconds. A dash "-" symbol appears. press this symbol. Press
Home button to complete turning your BlueSmart App off.
Battery Life: Approximately half year.
